My wife and I were impressed with the size of the skillets! More food than we could eat. We love the feel of a diner and were impressed with the service! We’ll be going back!

Not great coffee, good typical American diner menu. Short wait for table on weekends, good service. Nice location being off 6 avenue.

Meh. Nice little cheap breakfast spot. Food is okay, but moderately priced. I go here occasionally.

Pretty decent breakfast. Coffee okay. Place seems a liitle old. My husband enjoyed the green chili on his breakfast burrito. I had asparagus omelet which was okay. Didn’t seem like fresh asparagus(maybe canned?). Very good service.

Irv and Joe lied to us. I won’t eat here again. First time I was here was earlier in the week, and it was great. Came here today(Saturday), and it was garbage. I ordered the southern both times. Now maybe it’s just me, but as a waiter or waitress, if you go to pick up an order of biscuits and gravy, and the gravy had been sitting so long that it started to get that«been sitting too long» film over it, would you serve that to a customer? Yeah, it was warm, at best. Eggs were closer to cold than warm, and I didn’t bother to touch the uncooked potatoes. .500 is great in baseball, but not in breakfast. Thanks a lot irv and joe! You’ve proven to the public that your word means nothing — just keep cashing those checks you old farts. Btw — irv and joe are local sports talk guys that have been around since the beginning of time. Been listening to them hype this place up for six months now. Figured I’d give them a shot. No mas.

My go to breakfast spot, Absolutely delicious can’t go wrong with a skillet or a Benny and they serve liquor and beer. Service is great and it reminds me of home.

Always great service and an excellent breakfast and I love that you can get your omelette«Benedict» style with the English muffins on bottom and sauce on top. They have great coffee too. Zero complaints from this morning grouch!

Find something you’re good at and just stick to it. That is what they have done with breakfast here! Very good skillets, Benedict’s and the bonus is the kids always clear their plates.

Been coming here for years, the last three times service has been poor. This last time was the final straw, 30 mins to get our food, the group that was seated after us was done eating before we even got our food. My wife ordered a half skillet but got a full when it was brought to the attention of our waitress(Shawnee) she said she was having a bad day, went through her tickets to check what she write done and still charged us for a full. My omelet wasn’t folded over looked like it was just thrown on the plate. Not once did she ask us how are meal was. Good by Sunrise Sunset…

My son and I have been there twice for Saturday morning breakfast. There’s always a short wait for a table, but nothing ridiculous. I’m must say the service is amazing, friendly, attentive and fast. The food is very good too. I’m a fiend for breakfast and i really like the food. My son said his pancakes were the best he’s ever had. My omelet was somewhat wet, probably from the veggies. Potatoes were good. The biscuits and gravy were probably something I’d never order again. The gravy was just pasty and tasted like too much flour or cornstarch or whatever they use. I’ll be back next Saturday if I can help it. The people really are the best I’ve encountered here so far. I’m thinking I’m a regular for life.

Great place for breakfast. Lots of options and choices, which can be overwhelming if you’re just hungry and can’t make a decision. That was me, in case you didn’t realize. My friend and I came on a Monday morning — she’s a nurse, I’m a teacher on summer break — and there was only one server at the time, so it took some long moments before we had water, coffee, or an order taken. There were a few other tables there so we patiently made small talk while we waited and figured out our orders. The food is tasty — home cooking, covered in gravy, eggs cooked to order, etc. Can’t complain at all.

I have never been done wrong here. I prefer the feel of the Wadsworth location but I salivate with the anticipation of eating here whenever I visit back home.

I was weary of this place at first, while there are a lot of good reviews, the bad reviews are REALLY bad. Not much in between. There was only like a 5 minute wait and service was fast and friendly. Overall there was really nothing amazing about it. The food was fine, just standard breakfast place food and about what I was expecting. I got the asparagus omelette, which was good. Vegetables were fresh and hollandaise was good, maybe a little heavy on the cheese. All in all I give it a three star rating for just being perfectly average. It was an enjoyable time and I’ll probably be back. I gave an extra star for the cute mini bottle of champagne you get with the mimosa.

Great skillet breakfasts. I like their corned beef hash skillet. A couple of eggs cooked your way over a skillet of hash. Simple, tasty, filling. I also had their seasonal hot apple cider rum. I ate there twice in the three days I was there to visit my buddy on a snowboarding trip. It was that good. Sunrise Sunset had that hometown diner feel to it with the skillet breakfasts to make you a regular customer. If I lived in Lakewood, I’d definitely be there every Sunday for brunch.

I am not a breakfast person. I am not a hole in the wall little breakfast eatery person. I should, by default, not like Sunrise, Sunset. However, I really do enjoy it. It’s become a family affair; my mother loves their hotcakes, and we used to come just for that. My partner loves their large amount of vegetarian friendly skillets and omlettes. I LOVE that they have a vegetarian black bean breakfast burrito that they offer without eggs, so I can eat it. We each have our own thing, and tend to stick with it. Yes, it is small and crowds easily. Yes, sometimes the service leaves something to be desired. Yes, their water cups(and small juice cups) look like they belong in a doll house. However, the food is always top notch, they are always friendly in their delivery, they always have yummy vegetarian options, and plus, their juices are hand squeezed. Well worth the short trek out to Lakewood!

Very good and solid Breakfast restaurant. The food served is as good as breakfast food gets and the service was amazing. My fiancée and I went on a Sunday morning before the ‘Church Rush’ and the place was already packed. The table turnover was fast enough that there was no wait, despite the throng of people rushing in and out of the place. Once we were seating, we were immediately greeted by a Broncos-clad waitress who took our order, brought us coffee and our amazing food in no more than 10 minutes. I got the 2+2+2 special(standard short stack with meat and eggs special) and they were cooked perfectly and my pancakes were sweet and fluffy. My fiancée got an omelet and it was the cheesiest and fullest omelet she has had in a while(as seen by the 1′ long strands of melted cheese being pulled off). She kept exclaiming that the even the eggs themselves tasted good. Overall, very good service and food.
