Ate here once and never returned. The salsa tasted like marinara sauce, the food was nothing great. Better off eating Taco Bell.

I didn’t check the reviews on here until after I ordered. The chicken enchiladas were the worst I’ve ever had. What little meat there was was dark, dry and hard. And I really wanted to post a good review to counter all the bad ones I saw here.

This restaurant is close to the Denver convention center I saw very bad reviews but since I was hungry I wanted to give it a try I asked for 3 gorditas al pastor I got told buy the waiter they were bomb. I can describe the meat as bad taste not marinated and with lots of fat Very bad quality on the meat they use. They also deep fry the corn pocket which is disgusting knowing that the original gorditas are not deep fry. I had to wait a long time til I got my food even that I sat on the bar. The only good thing I had there was a Corona that’s why I Gave 2 stars otherwise would have being a 1 star rating. I don’t recommend this place at all and I hope this review is useful.

Chicken tasted like turkey. Salsa bar was obviously old and had been sitting out all day. Queso dip was nacho cheese. Awful!

One of the absolutely worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The server was weird… acting rushed and confused but the place wasn’t busy. The food was gross and mushy. The food tasted«old» like it was sitting around for too long. Let’s just say my tummy was not happy with me later. NEVERAGAIN. I swear this place survives off the Convention Center crowd because no self-respecting Denver resident could possibly love this place.

Just happened to stop in to use the restroom, ended up trying some of the margs(3.50) and a Barbacoa taco. It was all really good and had good service as well

Entered the restaurant feeling excited, I saved my appetite all day so that I could find a place that specializes in tacos. No host was present so I decidedly to sit at the bar. I waited 30 minutes and never got noticed. Once all the servers were behind the bar I asked if it would be possible for me to order. Another 10 min passed before my order was taken. I ordered the taco plate with barbacoa, guacamole and bean with chorizos appetizers and a beer I requested before the food came out but couldn’t get because there are no clean glasses. I also ordered an agua Fresca to come out with my food but I immediately got the horchata. The stale chips and the wrong bean dip came right out. Two minutes later the guacamole and plate came out. Everything needed to be seasoned. The rice on the plate was cold and the tacos certainly did save grace. The guacamole has silver dollar pieces of avocado that kept breaking the stale chips. The horchata was delicious. I was almost done with everything by the time the server asked how the food was and by everything I mean the three tacos I almost felt like I had to eat. I never got my beer. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant because I kind of wished I never stepped foot in this place.

Authentic Mexican food! Stopped in randomly and we were pleasantly surprised! Salsa and food was very good! Definitely a good place to try

I stopped in just after 9pm on Monday. Chips are stale and cold which I had to ask for twice. The one server did not know what he was doing for the 7 people in the restaurant. The place was dirty when I got in. Should have turned around. Tables sat dirty the whole time I was there. Must have never heard of walking plates back when going back to the kitchen. Or taking more than one order at a time. I was asked what my order was after 30 minutes. Because there was two orders in the the back that he didn’t want to mess up. I never ordered. Then I was was asked what I wanted. That’s about the only good thing in the place. I had three tacos. I was surprised they came out hot and tasty. But it was in a Togo container. I never said it was to go. This place need to step up on the service and It will rock.

One stars because the salsa was good and so was 1 taco. That’s it. Food: we both got a taco plate. The tacos had tortilla and meat. That’s it. NOCILANTRO in sight. A little bit of rabbit lettuce and gross chopped tomatoes was the only garnish on the side. Limes at salsa bar were old and shrively. Only the salsa and chips were good, but the kicker, you pay extra for a refill of chips. Al pastor was good. Carne Asada tasted rotten — kinda like it was musty goat meat. Service: one guy and he clearly didn’t care about our order or our happiness. Was unhappy and short. Happy hour just passed but there was no one in there — would have liked to get the deal but not essential. Authentic style Mexican food is easy to make good — this place fails.

Honestly, my boyfriend and I ate here for lunch and now we’re back for dinner. We both love finding authentic ethnic cuisine and let me tell you, this place is REAL Mexican food! They have a salsa bar that you can try 7 different salsas, add them to your tacos where the meat is marinated and cooked perfectly. I recommend marinated pork or steak. The tacos are cheap, delicious, and honestly probably the best tacos I’ve ever had. We will be coming here, or the other 2 locations any time we don’t want to spend a lot of money but want great food. Highly recommended.

Paid $ 9 for 3 terrible tacos. Got the marinated steak tacos which were super salty and didn’t come with any salsas. With a name called Tacos and Salsas, you think it was standard. Definitely not coming back here. Really wished I can go back in time and went somewhere else.

Quick take out on the way home from a late work session. Enchiladas, tacos and tostada shared with another person. Good value for the price and nice slightly spicy flavor.

This place was great. I’ve been told that I can be really picky about Mexican food, seeing how I’m from Los Angeles where the majority of it is authentic. This is probably the most authentic place I’ve been outside of LA. I had the taco platter. 2 Asada, 1 carnitas, and 1 barbacoa. They were great. The tacos are always my default, because I figure if you can’t get those right, than there’s no point of trying anything else. Also, that salad bar is suspect. Everything was either stale or wilted. Good thing I didn’t need anything from there,

I have been on this taco chain since I discovered their location on east colfax. The tacos at that location were amazing. This location looks small on the outside but it’s huge on the inside. It’s equipped with a full bar and upstairs. The set up in the main dining area is interesting and our table was really wobbly. The tacos were good but not as good as the afore mentioned location. They also had sautéed jalapeños where as the other location has sautéed Serrano peppers and the jalapeños are a little too big. But the food was good. The salsa was fresh. My coworker and I came on our lunch break. She ordered the flautas. They were nothing to rave about. I want to go back at night because maybe there will be a better chef.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, so we dropped in for a fairly late Friday lunch. There was one waiter that seemed to be serving 2⁄3 of the restaurant, and two others that seemed to be moving at a snail’s pace. Unfortunately, we got one of the snails. 20 minutes before we had the opportunity to place our order, 10 minutes before we got our drinks. We were promised water when our drinks came out, but had to ask twice for water. Another 20 minutes before the food came out, missing some of the toppings. Even though our waiter passed us twice, I couldn’t get his attention, and had to go back to the kitchen to get our sour cream. That being said, the food(when we finally got it) was pretty good. We will probably give them another try, but if our quick lunch takes and hour and a half again, that will be it

Tacos, tacos, tacos… I’ll be dreaming of this place for months to come! My boyfriend and I were in town for only a few days, but we hit up this place every single day — we couldn’t help ourselves! The waitress and waiters are great, the food is amazing, and the price cannot be beat. LOVE!

If you have a hankering for running to the border at Taco Bell DON’T, When you have a need to have Mexican food done right and done by good chefs stop by this place, Their spirits selection is phenomenal, large televisions to boot to watch a fight

I loved this place. It’s a cheap, greasy, Mexican joint with a lot of character, but no décor. It’s not nice, it’s not fancy; it is what it is. The food is cheap, the salsa bar is fantastic, and the staff are friendly. Are you going to get hand-made table side quac and a tasty craft margarita? No. Are you going to get good, cheap Mexican food with delicious salsas and possibly a spanish soap opera playing on the background? YES Anyone who rates the place on their lack of décor needs not not expect much from a strip-mall located Mexican joint.
