Nothing special… Food is bland. I had the chicken Lucca and it was just OK. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box. My husband had some kind of fish. He said it was not filling and was bland as well. We did get the deviled eggs which were good and the server was nice. He made a comment«man it’s busy tonight» which was interesting because looking around there were several empty tables and no wait at 7pm on a Saturday… Not really a great sign. Good wasn’t TERRIBLE but we will not choose to eat here again. Too many tasty options in the area.

I have been here a few times because it’s right next to my office tower. I think the food is nothing to rave about, but their happy hour is their saving grace. Half price wine and $ 5 apps! That is definitely a good enough reason to come here. Last week I got a caesar salad and a glass of Pinot for $ 8. That’s unheard of, especially for a place that is considered a steakhouse. My co worker and I are also guilty of picking up dessert here what we get a sugar craving in the afternoon– the pineapple upside down cake is life changing. She is a small girl and sometimes gets two pieces to enjoy throughout her day hahaha. This place looks just OLDSCHOOL. When I walk in I feel like I get transported to a hot business lunch spot in the 1950s. Nothing wrong with that, but kind of a weird ambiance for downtown Denver.

The worst experience ever, ridiculous rude server, I asked about the happy hour she threw down the menu and disappeared in the back, so u decide to leave.

It was good comfort food. On a Friday night there were only a few tables occupied. The menu is comfort food with some wine, some beers and full bar. The service was excellent. The food was good. If you want to try their specialty, try the chili. This is not a steakhouse, but it was good.

We had out of town guests and wanted to take them some place nice in Denver so we tried Trinity Grill. We made a reservation at 7pm for 6 people. When we arrived there was absolutely NOONE in the dining room. We realized that we did not need a reservation since the place was completely empty. We were a little taken back as we have never been to a restaurant in Denver on a Saturday night at 7pm that was not packed. The food was average and ordinary at best. The escargot was mushy and the main courses tasted more like cafeteria food than fine dining. The entire time we were there, not one other patron came in to eat… not one!!! We left about 8:30pm to grab dessert somewhere else and saw may other restaurants in Denver were packed, as you would expect on a Saturday night. This place was a disappointment to say the least and we were embarrassed that we had chosen to take our out of town guests to this establishment. There are sooooo many better restaurants in Denver to choose from. We will never return to this restaurant again.

Three of us hopped over to Trinity Grille today for a birthday lunch. I’ve had many lunches here in the past fifteen or so years, and it’s never let me down. We went early to avoid the lunch rush, and it paid off. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. The birthday girl and I each ordered the special linguine dish which was just okay. Our friend ordered the crab cake(single) and she raved about it. The service was attentive and professional. I’ll happily visit Trinity Grille again and again!

I’ve eaten at Trinity grill a million times. Well, maybe not a million… but at least 20 or 30 for my office is in the building next door. The french onion soup is one of the best out there. I can’t think of a place that has a better French onion. They have a great salmon special, good salads and above average green chili. Today I tried the steak and mashed potatoes for the first time and I devoured my whole plate. The steak comes with boursin which makes anything even better. Special shout out to Grady… my main man. He’s such a joy to see and a great bartender. I make a point to go in on evenings he’s working. I bordered on a 3 star review for last week I had a less than excellent experience and they did not do anything to fix it, but I think that may have been a one off experience so I don’t want to punish them for one isolated event. All and all their menu is pretty great and the service even better.

If I could give no stars I would! Special occasion turned into a complete rip off! Leaves a bad taste in your mouth considering eating out in downtown Denver! Never again!

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve been intentionally ripped off, this place did it. Looking at the menu everything seems reasonably priced for what you’re getting with the highest price at about $ 36. Until the waitress comes and mentions the«specials» of the evening. When you ask for a recommendation between something that is $ 22 and the«special» you get told go for the special. Meal was ordinary, but when you get the bill and your«special» is priced more than three times of anything on the menu, you really get the feeling you’ve been caught as a sucker! We asked the waitress if it was the correct price and she politely says yes. On suggesting that is probably a good thing to tell your customers that the meal you suggest costs $ 76, she says«oh sorry». Very disappointed in what seems to be an intentional sales stunt. Won’t be going back… ever!

I first off want to start off with the good: Jalapeño cheddar soup is so delicious. sooooo delicious their happy hour appetizers are soo good along with the queso and sliders The company i work for is right next door. So we have lost count on how many times we have enjoyed a meal here. My boss takes all clients to lunch at trinity and so do all of my coworkers. We attended happy hour here. We where craving the sliders. upon walking in we where greeted by a nice young lady who was slurring her words. We looked past that and where seated… It took the server 25 minutes to get our order taken down… she was slurring words and would repeat orders that we never requested. Finally she said that she had celebrated 5 de mayo during her lunch hour. Long story short our orders came out wrong but we still ate them due to time crunches but i would not let this situation stop me from coming back. Eventually she was told to leave and another server took over and made out order right. I love coming here and i think this was a bump in the road as far as employees go

If I find you in my seat at the bar around Happy Hour, you better get off of my stool so that I can order my wine. Yes, I order wine here instead of my usual whiskey. This is just one of those places where I feel a little classy. The whole place is classy, but laid back in a way. Classy laid back. Is that a thing? With its prime location in the CBD, it’s a great place for a business lunch. Get to know your clients and hobnob in a somewhat sophisticated place without all the hull-a-blue of the other fancy downtown lunch spots. It is alright for lunch, but like I said, happy hour is the place to be. Half price wells, beers, and house wines. Steer clear of the wells, and go for the wines. Plus $ 5 happy hour apps? Okay, yes please. One(chunky) crab cake with a healthy serving of tossed greens, shrimp cocktail(4 bigass shrimp with some tasty cocktail /house sauce) and 3 sliders, cooked to perfection. Perfect sized dinner, and I always leave a happy woman. Sometimes, a little too happy, but the bartender doesn’t mind. He treats me well. Did I mention the crab cakes? Oh yes, I already did. But they’re nice and fluffy and always cooked just right.

I like Trinity– consistently an upscale experience with great food and service quality. In reality, very few restaurants in Denver achieve this quality. This restaurant is more similar to one you would find in Chicago or New York. Great for a business lunch, with the small downside that you might see people you know, and you probably shouldn’t discuss proprietary issues too loudly on the chance you are overheard. Trinity is always full of sharply dressed professionals and you feel miles away from the riff raft of the 16th St mall– think, the opposite of the Cheesecake Factory. The food is great, always. My favorites are the Steak Burger– if you are going to splurge on a burger, do it here! The crab cakes are always amazing– Denver’s best option for crab cakes. The salmon entrée is always delicious, as is the Ahi burger served with asian slaw. Folks love a cup of the green chile before the meal as well! One of Denver’s best restaurants!

Good lunch, but NOT A GOODPLACEFOR A BUSINESSLUNCH! see below… Trinity Grille is has a few things going for it, and a couple of things that I found to be a bit annoying… Pros: — Good, diverse menu with tasty food — Friendly professional wait staff — my water and tea glasses never ran dry! — Clean, upscale feel to the place — Reasonable prices, considering they are competing with places like Earl’s, Capital Grille, etc. Cons: — Won’t seat your party until you are all there. Normally I would understand, but a colleague was outside on a call, within sight, and they still wouldn’t seat us. When they finally did, they squished five of us into a four-top. — It is CRAZY noisy during lunch, making it an unideal place for a business lunch. Casa Bonita is quieter. All in all, if you’re just looking for a nice lunch with friends, and don’t need to hear everything people are saying, it’s a good spot.

Great downtown lunch spot. The green chili is a great compliment to your lunch entrée. They also have one of the best lemonades in town. I’ve always had great service here and consistently good food.

We went there on a Sat night. The place was very quiet, our group and one other couple were the only ones there. Service was friendly, but slow. I had the Germantown Schnitzel, it was pretty good. I was asked if I wanted a soup or salad with it, thinking it was a standard accompaniment, I got the soup. I was surprised that the side soup was about 3 table spoons worth and was charged $ 4. All in all it wasn’t a bad place. It was able to accommodate our group of 8 on short notice and the food was decent. Portion size was good but the prices were a bit on the high side.

2nd time visiting. 1st time was with a colleague and today I was alone before a meeting. I was seated promptly but the wait to be served was longer than it should have been. It was 1 p. m . I ordered the beef & cheddar sandwich with horseradish dipping sauce. It was delicious! I drank water and my total with tax and tip was about $ 18. Pricey, but tasty.

Trinity has been a long-time favorite for Denver business folks, particularly those in the oil & gas business. The lunch menu is solid, with a wide variety of salads, sandwiches and entrees. They have daily specials — fish, pasta, usually, but the small 2-top tables are a little cramped so arrive early if you want some privacy. Dinnertime is nice, far less crowded and good service. The prices are reasonable, the bartenders knowledgeable and a great place to eat… again so long as you get a table where you’re not on top of the couple next to you.

I’ve never understood the hype around British pubs. It seems like naming a place a British pub is giving the establisment an excuse to serve one of two things: Fish and Chips or shit food. The specials seemed terrible, the service wasent great, and the burger seemed a tier above what a highschool cafeteria would serve. The icing on the cake was the less than desirable price tag associated with the meal. Not worth it. Go somewhere else.
