Tiny, over stocked, next to the not-so-safeway. I had never gone in until i happened to be at the not-so-safeway early on a sunday and figured the shifty types that are usually going in and out wouldn’t be up so early. They didn’t have what i needed, but did help me look for it. I can’t say i’d make a habbit of going in here, but in a pinch it would do.

Update: I have to admit, lately the prices seem more competitive. The staff is still super nice. The clientele has not changed, but eh, neither have I. For the Curtis Park/Five Points area this is a great resource. It is always stocked. Many of the items are in line with the«discount» liquor stores. They do have good wine choices(not awesome) but good. And they stock my favorite local Barefoot bubbly… so there. You can also get a can of soda for .60. You can’t even get that at the grocery.

Smallish, expensiveish on some things, sort of cramped and dark, and clientele runs on the sketchy side, and not a great selection of beers. Friendly people who work there, though!

Little liquore shop full of wine. Not the best but you can’t really be too picky in Denver. Great shop to hit up after shopping at Safeway or getting your nails done at Fashion Nails.
