Great cheese bread, I would recommend these to everyone! Awesome bread sticks also! Staff very is friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed every dish I have tried so far. The marinara is pretty good too. I’ve never been a huge fan of baked beans, but I thought their take on them was pleasantly tasty.

Very disappointed, quality, taste, presentation. Maybe I’m impartial to my employer’s actual restaurant, casual eatery. Two sandwiches ordered Twisted and a BBQ Pulled Por k. @ 8.99 which includes choice of potato salad, baked beans, etc. The Twisted tasted of freezer burnt meat and tin tasting tomato sauce. The pulled pork was as well freezer burnt tasting with a Gray color palette, no pink smoke ring, he’ll probably not even pork, they can’t even spell simple common words correctly. The onion rings if cooked a little longer and the blah Flour tasting breading they might get one, Nice Try. AGAIN! If I was the owner of this wanna think I know food or front for something because no eating establishment, I’d bury my head in the sand! I’m proud to be an employee of a small individual eatery that prides in quality and taste, including fresh in house made items DAILY, along with friendly sincere service that makes you proud to patronize an individuals business.

Shady. Shady. Shady. Incredibly slow delivery(Up to 2 ½ hours on a ’45 minute’ promise. But ‘not their fault’ as they had a ‘bigger order’ come in… after mine.). All of three times we ordered, pizza arrived late and completely cold.(We live less than 10 minutes away.) Expect to pay several extra ‘hidden’ dollars when using a ‘coupon’. Offered us a ‘credit’ on a bad delivery, which they wouldn’t honor the next time we called. Woman who answers the phone is waaaaaaaaay more worried about her life/problems than good customer service(she is the one who offered the ‘credit’, ‘apologized/not aplogized’ for blowing us off for a bigger order, then said we had no credit the next time. Who did I talk to last time? You, babe!!!). It sucks having a hungry crew lined up at the microwave 2+ hours after your order. Repeatedly. Pizza is okay, but never, never, never, never, never again!!!(BTW, I refuse to go through the 1,153 steps to sign up for G+ so I can contact them on their ‘preferred’ platform.)

Wonderful pizza, out of the ordinary! Chef and owner Charles is bringing west coast style to Des Moines! Try the jalapeño bread with a delicious flavor combination of bacon, jalapeño, tons of mozzarella, and home made marinara. Also, try the mac and cheese pizza, made with home made macaroni and cheese, and in house smoked bacon! Side note– they deliver to the complete metro area!

Ordered the Greek God pizza for delivery after reading the awesome Unilocal reviews. It arrived in a timely manner, the driver was friendly and very professional. The pizza was hot and delicious! I strongly recommend this place!

This place is DOINGITRIGHT, guys. I’ve gotten a couple pizzas from here, garlic bread knots, and now the mac n cheese. Everything has exceeded my expectations in both portion and flavor thus far. Their dough is neapolitan style, crispy and savory but not bready or heavy. The toppings are ample, and they have great coupon specials to boot. The mac has some kind of delicious bechemel situation on the bottom to keep the cheese-laden baked pasta moist(whaaaat?! Well played!) and the accompanying side salad has some kind of green pepper spin on pico de gallo in it, yum. Can’t wait to try their ribs! The menu is extensive, with pizzas, pastas, salads, sandwiches, BBQ and appetizers. They do in house, delivery and carry out. And they are local and family owned. New favorite pizza place, hands down. EDIT: Got the babyback ribs tonight. They are super worth it. Caramelized, tender, fall right off the bone. Would never have expected barbeque like this from a pizzeria. Well played, Twisted. Well freakin played.

I had a salad and a buffalo chicken pizza. The salad was fine, the pizza tasted ok but the toppings had slid off in the box and it was luke warm. Probably better in house instead of delivery.

Got carry out from Twisted Pizzaria tonight. It’s on SW9th, where Fia’s Pizza used to be. They have super easy online ordering, which you can set the time of your pickup! We ordered a couple of pizzas, and their battered onion rings. They have a GREAT crust, chewy and flavorful. They also have a fairly extensive menu with barbecue ribs, pastas, salads and calzones. The only thing I would ask for is more of a description of their onion rings. I prefer a more solid crispy onion ring, and theirs are more the home style, greasy ones. Great first visit, and next time I’m trying the bbq!!!
