My lady pal didn’t expect much from a restaurant in a Nordstroms store, but let me tell you we both liked this place. Not an extensive menu but she liked her cilantro shrimp salad and I got the chicken sandwich with goat cheese which was good and the fries were nice ! Will definitely come back want to try one of their brick oven pizzas. I give this 4 barks out of 5 for good food and quick & friendly service.

This is a great hidden gem in the mall. While it’s a casual atmosphere, the food is top notch. They have great salads and a pretty wide array of options on the menu. Pizzas, pasta, sandwiches and other treats. I loved that they served beer and wine too. Sometimes it’s nice to have a little break from shopping and sip on a glass of wine and have a bite. The wait staff is courteous and friendly and it’s also cool that you can see the chefs cooking most of the dishes if you sit at the«bar.» I’d recommend over some of the other chains available in and around the area.

I’ve eaten her quite a few times after church with my sister and kids. I feel like the menu has changed very little. The french onion soup and the fries are my favorite. My girls love the bistro club which is toasted just right with green beans, bacon, turkey, and lettuce. The fries are shoe string drizzled with I think maybe an oil, maybe not, sprinkled with seasoning. Not overpowering though. They are served with an olive aioli that is out of this world. The prices are just right for soup and fries, but I think a little pricey for the entrees and salads for the serving size. The wait staff are always so wonderful. I would give 5 stars but again I think it is a bit pricey for the serving sizes though. If using a credit card to ask to leave a tip on it if you don’t have cash.

Ended up having a casual Friday night dinner at Café Bistro at Nordstrom. I find the process a little odd. You begin at the cash register where you read the menu, order the food, and pay for the meal. I ordered a chicken Cesar Salad and my dinner date ordered the Bistro Club Sandwich with French Fries. Then you choose a table and the server comes to you and brings you bread and butter and your drinks and then delivers the meal when it’s ready. At the end I believe you tip this server because they clearly waited on you. I’ve just never been anywhere else with this setup. My Cesar Salad was excellent. There was a very generous serving of well cooked chicken and large parmesan cheese tuile on it. I love a parmesan cheese tuile! The Bistro Club Sandwich was enjoyed and we each took about half our meals home. I think this is the best place to eat in the actual mall. Can’t beat the location and the food was very good…

On the way to Ballpark Village for the big game my son and I stopped at this café because it is always quick and the service is great. The menu has many options and you really cannot go wrong. I had the chicken caesar salad and my son had a panini and fries. It is tucked away in Nordstrom’s, one of my favorite stores, and it is a far cry from the food court. Try it out. The prices are reasonable as well.

I’ve eaten here a couple times recently, and really, why go anywhere else to eat at West County Mall? The tucked-away little café is the best bang for your buck, in my opinion. When you arrive, you must take a menu and order/pay at the counter. You can take your own seat, and then the«service» part of the meal begins. A server will bring your bread/butter, drinks, and anything else you might need throughout the meal.(Oh… but by the time they bring your drinks, your entrée will already be at your table!) They’ll add anything extra to your check, and then you can leave them a tip! This place hits on my needs of 1. speed, 2. healthy options, 3. low price point. Much of what is on the menu is organic, locally-grown, etc. and it’s priced nearly the same as what you’d buy in the food court! Entrees range from soups and salads, to sandwiches, pizza and pasta — all with a fun twist. If you opt for a sandiwich — the french fries are hot and fresh, and served with a delicious kalamata dip! Seriously, why go elsewhere?

I was really surprised to learn about this little bistro tucked into the Nordstrom at West County Mall. I was a little confused originally by the way you order and pay but then still have a waiter/ress when you get to your table, but I got over that pretty quickly. The food(I had a salad) one really good, and it has a very clean and definite«bistro» look to it. The only thing I’d say is that it seems to have a «feminine» image, as most of the people eating there the day I went were all women. That also might have something to do with it being in Nordstrom — and requiring you to walk through various departments to get to the bistro.

Every single time I go, I always get the Chicken Caesar Salad w/a side of Fries. Very good combination! The flavors are amazing and it never disappoints! GOHERE!

My daughter and I had dinner together at the café Saturday night, Feb 22nd. We had a wonderful time. I had the salmon and my daughter had the panini with chicken and goat cheese. They were both DELICIOUS. We especially loved the amazing employees. The two men behind the counter were fun and friendly with great attitudes. Everything Nordstrom does, they seem to do it with impeccable attention to detail. We always love and look forward to our afternoons spent at the department store and the café.

I love the prime rib sandwich here with the fries. I also like the fact that they are focused on sustainable foods and some organic foods. Portions are a good size and the service and atmosphere are warm and comfortable.

If there were 10 stars I’d give them! I love that the staff lets you linger to socialize with your girls. I never feel hurried. The food is tasty and different. My faves are turkey sandwich w cranberry chutney and the Cilantro lime shrimp salad. I get it w chicken instead. About a $ 12 lunch w drink. Btw they serve alcohol ;).

What a perfect lunch and a perfect setting for lunch! This place literally took me back in time and made me feel like I was in a classy jazz lounge but with a modern swing on everything. I got the turkey and goat cheese panini and I was in love. The seasoned fries upped the ante, these are NOT your regular French Fries, they were awesome! And I’m not just saying this because it’s inside a fancy department store. I’m not even a ‘Nordy’ shopper, but damn they can whip up some food. The katamala olive aioli was gross, sorry, but this is definitely a place to check out.

Whether you choose to dine at the West County Mall café or decide to brave the Galleria location, you will not be disappointed by the Café Bistro at Nordstrom. The staff at both locations is both attentive without being bothersome and they are quick with the drink refills. A few weeks ago, I braved the throngs of Christmas shoppers and the usual mess of a mall that is the Galleria and met a good friend for a holiday lunch. We both ordered salads(I chose the Caesar with grilled chicken) and my friend ordered an Asian salad that had mixed greens, spinach, peppers, and grilled chicken. The dressings on both salads were light and flavorful and the chicken was perfectly grilled. My salad was dressed perfectly and had the most deliciously crunchy and garlicky croutons. Our server was polite and accommodating. I will definitely be back; it was a great overall experience.

Yum! I’ve visited Café Bistro at Nordstrom twice now, and have been equally satisfied. Set-up is a little odd, you walk in, order your food at the counter, then can sit whereever you like. At that point, a server walks over, looks at your receipt, and will begin to bring you your food. Kinda odd, but I suppose it works. The food is great! My second trip in, I sat alone and ordered a cup of bisque with an iced tea. I felt a little like my grandmother, but the soup was delicious and came with a crusty slice of bread. This is a nice little haven if you find yourself at West County Mall, starved and looking to stear clear of food court mania.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I can’t stand eating food court food. I always walk away feeling overloaded on grease/oil. This place is a warm welcome when you’re out for the day shopping. The atmosphere is calm which I like when trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the mall. The food is excellent! I crave the french fries with the amazing kalamata olive alioli! I have to ask the waiter to bring me two helpings of the dip because I just can’t get enough of it. Also, the cranberry turkey sandwich is excellent. My husband always gets a pizza and is never disappointed. I go out of my way to grab lunch here even on days I“m not shopping at the mall. I work close enough that I can grab a to go order on lunch and bring it back to the office. This place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it!

This place is actually inside the Nordstrom store not on the main walking strip. I thought my Iphone was off a bit when I first looked at the map because of that. I had a Blue cheese & pear pecans Sheryl vinaigrette salad and It was pretty good. Everything tasted fresh. Now the big thing I don’t like about this place there is no restroom. You have to go downstairs and into the mall to wash your hands. Thats annoyed me because I just wanted to sit down and relax for a bit not get back up and go for a walk. Oh I absolutely hated the music in this place. They played smooth jazz which just makes me grit my teeth. The music is not reflected in my rating just wanted warn others that have the same feeling about that music ;P

Tucked inside Nordstroms, far away from the food court is this very nice little bistro. You order at the register upon entering, but be sure to tip there if you don’t have cash. The service is worth it. The hostess escorts you to your seat. A waiter/waitress will bring bread and drinks and your food. The other staff stays on top of running food and filling drinks so that everyone’s working together. Service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious. Especially the kalamata olive dip served with the delicious fries. Ketchup is available by request, of course. My favorite sandwich is the citrus turkey sandwich, which has a delicious cranberry chutney on it, but I’m told by my dining companions that the other dishes are excellent as well. I would suggest saving room for dessert too, as their bread pudding is delectable.

I felt like a traveler in a foreign land looking for decent food. Luckily I remember Nordstom has bistros at some of their locations and rolled in here. One thing I love about Nordstrom is the service and the Bistro is no different. I chose to sit at the open air kitchen counter and what i saw reminded me of sitting at the counter at Five Coins in Seattle — a lightning fast kitchen where everyone appeared to love what they were doing and keeping a good banter going. This was probably the most entertaining thing I saw on this trip to St. Louis. There’s an art form running diner style kitchen professionally and they do it well. I generally avoid bisques, but tried the crab bisque and was impressed. The Roast chicken with Pomme Frites was great, but really I have to say that any dish with their frites and the kalamata olive aioli is probably awesome. Highly recommend checking out the Bistro if you’re looking for a good quick meal.

Thanks to my mom for telling me where to find this. If you didn’t know there was a restaurant in Nordstrom, you would never find it. Definitely a place you want to hit if you’re looking for something a little nicer or quieter(or both) while shopping. At first it was hard to figure out, but you order at the counter, get served and pay at the counter. Great food, I had a great pasta and ate some sandwich and fries.

I have just two words for you: french fries. And then another three: kalamata olive mayonnaise. Take the french fries, which are exquisite, and dip them like crazy in the mayo, which is even more exquisite. Then, for ultimate nirvana, add a turkey sandwich with gruyère, garlic aioli and a citrus cranberry chutney on toasted multigrain bread and shake well. Go home, come back in a week and repeat.
