Great store and selection. But this store has to have the WORST customer service i’ve ever encountered. Theres one individual in particular that snarls even if you come close to him he’s a very heavy set fellow darker hair about 6 – 2 in height. Only come here if you must.

This was my 3rd trip here(mainly because I was already in the area and right on Oakton St.) the store was unbelievably dirty this time around. Small messes in a lot of different places, including a spill nearly inside the front doors. Something had spilled and there was just a big wad of papers towels thrown in the floor to cover up the mess. People had to walk all over this to get past the entrance. No one here seems to be happy; although my cashier was a little friendlier than the one I had last time. I left with exactly what I wanted.

This store is awsome. Huge selections of different items and always fully stocked. The only issues I ran into is sometimes not enough registers open, so occasional long lines… It is a once a month stop for me…

Great store, loaded with pretty much anything just for a buck. Big parking lot.

As far as Dollar stores go, the Dollar Tree in Des Plaines is a pretty good one. Very large store, not overly cluttered aisles. Good organization. The stuff I want, they usually have. That and then a whole lot of random stuff. I tend to go for specific items, like disposable kitchen stuff for home and work — plastic forks and spoons, aluminum pans for cooking, cheapo cleaning supplies, paper napkins. And gift supplies like gift bags, gift card holders/boxes, money envelopes. I almost always find exactly what I went in for. Ample parking in a free parking lot. Always a good thing.
