This gap isn’t that big but since I was at the mall; I went in. I found some deals but I didn’t have my phone with the coupon. I don’t buy anything without coupons. I told the cashier that I left my phone and I asked if I could still have the coupon. She said that she’s not allowed to do that. I’ve never been to a store where they weren’t «allowed» to do that. I then asked if I could use my AAA card for a discount like I did a few months ago and now all of a sudden they don’t accept that anymore. I finally asked for the manager and guess what!!! She was the manager. I left the clothes and went on to another store. I will stick to the north Milwaukee store.

A little bit of cool, and a bunch of blah is what I feel about this GAP store. I get its an outlet and that styles or sizes may be limited. But that’s the thing, sizes are not limited, they have a whole bunch in back. I was shopping for myself and kids clothes, and was disappointed to have to ask someone to go check in back for sizes on the majority of the items I wanted to purchase. The first 2 – 3 items the lady gladly checked, but at #7, she was ticked and took a long time in back on purpose. Its not my fault you guys don’t manage your store inventory properly. Each day you should check what is out and stock up in a few items in all sizes out on the store. Then you could save several staff’s time from running back and forth like a personal shopper. I still much prefer the Pleasant Prairie Outlets over FOC, but hey 15 min vs 45 min drive is a plus. What irked me, was the manager of this location. In the kids back section, they had winter coats on sale. There was a huge sign 50% off. It was end of January, so it was plausible that coats were reduced to get them out and room for new spring stuff. Well I was mistaken. At the cash register a winter puffer coat was full price. I said the sign said 50% off. So they call the big guns the store manager, she goes back there, and is gone for 10 – 15 min, so I walk back to find her folding clothes. I pointed to the sign and she said«oh that is for jeans», my fault, it did say Jeans in size 3 font. But there were NO jeans anywhere near there. I said that is misleading and she should honor the discount. She said no, and folded on. I asked her if her customer service training included letting the cashier know up front one way or another, cause I’ve been standing there like a dork for a while. She said, «I’ll let them know you’ll take the coat». Hmm, maybe she is deaf? Maybe gap pays store managers min wage and this is the reason? I don’t know. Be cautious with SALES, and to see if you truly get what you thought at ring up. The store is poorly organized, clothes not folded. All this, and I have to PAYTOPARK? This is Rosemont, not downtown Chicago. Ehh, the mob has to collect, what they have to I guess.
