I’ve been to this place very often as I live one block away. Food not bad. It’s fried you can’t really mess up fried unless you’re an idiot. Anyway… I walked In one day before 5pm and I asked the manager for 4 quarters who was at the register ringing up a customer in front of me. She looked at me with an evil eye and said«I can’t give you change, there’s a game on tonight!» like a dollar in change was going to break her for the evening. I live so close but I will not be going back again, not worth the ignorance. If you can’t afford to give change out for four damn quarters after I have spend more than that on your measly wings and risk losing a customer then keep your darn change!!! Also the lady upfront who I know is some kind of supervisor or manager looked like she had walked off the street. She had no uniform, name tag or hat on her head. I think in Des Plaines that not wearing protective gear on your head, so food doesn’t get compromised is a violation of health code. We will see. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings instead.

Great food and good timing, but sometimes the chicken is a bit salty. Cajun fries are a must!

I love this place! Great food fast and reasonably priced as well. I have never been disappointed with numerous visits to this place. I am admittedly easy to please but I’m picky about my food. I typically get carry out so the atmosphere is just in and out. It seems the dining area is Spartan, no trash can, but not at all uninviting. The staff are great too. Very personable but usually busy with orders and the phone. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I haven’t eaten wing stop in months because the locations near my home are pretty gross. But this one is near my job & it’s really good & fresh. I call in my order & by the time I arrive it’s ready. I’ve only had the lemon pepper wings, but they were fresh and hot. I’ll definitely kp going bk.

Place is small, probably about 4 tables with some chairs so you can eat in, but it’s a fast food place, so whatever is available, and its typically clean, though sometimes slow for the staff to clean up after the customers leave. Bathrooms are decent but for onsies at a time. Otherwise I usually do takeaway from this place. I either order on site or via the smartphone app. It takes about 10 – 20 minutes of these folks to cook up qns wings and sauce then. When ordering online, my order is usually still being made but at most I’ve waited 5 minutes. Eating in? Free refills! Wings are usually cooked on demand, and cooked to a near crisp, sometimes a bit too much. Sauces are good, but a warning to people who are sensitive to spicy food, the hot sauces, like the mango habanero and atomic, are very *hot*. I like them that way, but these linger. Wings were accompanied by some veg sticks, choice of sauces, and fries. Gotta have the rolls with the hint of sweet in it. The staff do a decent job, and seem to be okay, but needs a touch up on people skills to rough out the edges for their benefit. Will come back unless my current fave Buffalo Joe’s has a restaurant here in the NW burbs! But still decent to go to…3.5 stars.

Frankly this place is gross the parmesean wings is like someone dumped parmesean on top of wings and then then same people that handle the money touch the food no hand washing, this place is 3 minutes from me and I’d rather travel the 25 minutes to buffalo wild wings

*This review is solely based on customer service and comfort of the establishment I’m a pretty frequent customer at Wing Stop in Desplaines and have never really had an issue in regards to the quality of their food. Although the Wing Stop in Desplaines is definitely the more expensive one compared to Elmwood Park, North Lake and Niles locations, their quality of food is pretty decent. I felt it necessary to comment on how the owner handled our visit the other night. We usually visit after dinner time and almost every single time we go all the chairs are put up(a very unwelcoming feel) and is almost ALWAYS very cold. I asked the owner if their heat was on/working and her reply was that ‘heat has been off ALL day’. Mind you it was 40 degrees outside. When I asked if she’d turn it on because we’d like to eat comfortably and not freeze, she denied our request because ‘it would take too long for heat to start up and they’ve been slow all day’. I wonder why. I don’t care how amazing your food is. If you don’t feel that it’s of importance to accommodate your loyal customers so that they feel comfortable in your establishment, you should reconsider ownership. It was 10:15pm, they close at 12am. Would it really be that much of an inconvenience to make sure it’s comfortable and not freezing in your establishment? And all of the chairs were already put up towards the back of the restaurant forcing customers to sit toward the front where the door was as if it wasn’t cold enough already. I hate to write such a lengthy review on an establishment I once frequented but this is NOT the first time I went to this Wing Stop where it wasn’t uncomfortably cold. Some owners should really take into account if situations such as the one I experienced are really worth losing loyal customers. Tip: If you don’t like the cold, maybe try another Wing Stop.

8 piece boneless«original» recipe, slaw and drink, for $ 10.50. The chicken was good, a little crispy on the outside and tender inside. I thought the Buffalo sauce could have been a little better though. I like Hot so maybe should have moved up a notch. Lots(15 or so) other types of sauces to pick from. Clean with WW2 aviation theme inside.

You know, I didn’t want to stop in here, prior experiences with Wingstops had been less than favorable, but my son wanted wings and I didn’t want to go to the same old places. Surprise! The wings were great! Had about 4 different sauces and a few sides on the first visit. m, the only complaint would be the rolls, a little weak. Otherwise we were pleasantly surprised and have gone back a few time. It may be a chain, but the franchisee makes a difference, and the other employees do too. Every stop in has been worth it, the food is good and the employees are friendly. More visits in the future.

I’ll be honest, since I have Celiac disease I’ve not had many wings in my day. That said, These are pretty good! Had a co-worker recommend this place and as luck would have it I live two minutes away. The menu is pretty extensive for a wing place. I got all the ones that were GF and wasn’t disappointed. The flavors were all fine, won’t blow your mind or anything but good. There is sparce seating, so it’s mainly catered to take out. I’m sure they use just conventional factory farm Meat but you couldn’t expect anything else really. If you are interested in wings you’ll more than likely enjoy what they have to offer.

Solid wings for fast food. For either boneless or bone-in, there are several sauces/flavors to choose from. You can go with simple flavors like BBQ, as hot as the atomic sauce, or the dry rub, which is my go-to. There are various wing combos with fries and a drink. One combo includes 50+ wings so that’s certainly an option for parties. Fries are tasty and you get a lot of them too. Dining space is somewhat small so it’s not exactly the best place if you’re going with a group of people.

I don’t eat wings but I do love chicken. I’ve been in twice now and I love love the chic strips. not all breading like some places. coupled with the honey mustard-which taste better than your average honey mustard, = divine. The yeast rolls– so soft and buttery. and another stand out is the baked beans. not tok sweet or salty.

I love the wings and fries from here and the ranch sauce is exceptionally good. The wings are consistently good and this place has great service and is really clean(when pick the food up they make sure to put the fries in last so they are as hot and crispy as they can be). Our favorite flavors are the original hot, garlic parmesan, and lemon pepper. We always get the 30 family pack and have leftovers.

This is a great little hidden gem that just opened in downtown Des Plaines. Service was slow the first couple of weeks but now that they have worked out the kinks, I have no complaints. My favorite is the garlic parmesan(which I like better here than BWW). Plus you have to try the fries, they are AMAZING!

Eh. The chicken is good quality(I’ve tried the boneless wings and the chicken strips) but the sauces are really lame. We’ve ordered three or four different times now, an we’ve tried almost all the sauces and they’re just all kind of weird and some are pretty gross. Even the BBQ is just different in not a great way. The seasoned fries are really nice. I want to love this place because I love wings and it’s right by my house, but it’s just so mediocre. And honestly, it’s not especially cheap either. Compared to BDubs, it’s less expensive and I think the chicken is a huger quality, but the underwhelming to gross sauce option kills the otherwise great potential!

Second time in since they opened, both times we had a great experience. Wings are cooked to order, they are not greasy like I have had at some other wing places, and are perfectly sauced. Original hot is my favorite and my husband enjoyed the mango habanero! Staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Worth our trip!

This place is good. The wings and sauces are good. The Atomic has a nice kick to it. My only real complaint is that the fries could be crispier.
