Great happ hour(drinks and food) and service is superb(we always ask for Alice). I always go for the Flatbread pizzas; can’t go wrong here. Great happy hour spot!

We love this place! Happy hour is awesome and if you’re lucky enough to catch a seat in Alice’s section then your night is made. As a gluten sensitive patron, I love the Caesar salad with eggplant croutons and the burger(without bun) and you must have a berries and bubbles cocktail!

This place was recommended to me from a local. It is AMAZING!!! I got the Grouper Vince after having fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. I cannot recommend this place enough! This place just jumped to the number one restaurant we must eat at during our vacation.

Service was terrible. Waiter was rude. The food took almost an hour to arrive after ordering. It was overpriced with very small portions. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Great atmosphere! Bar was busy for Happy Hour! We were greeted my the lovely smiling hostess & manager(Terry) when we walked through the door. Amber was our very knowledgeable server. She takes pride in her job and you can tell. Manager(Terry) was visible on the floor and was helping employees and talking with guests. The food was fabulous!!! We are locals & will be back!

Seems to attract a certain clientele!$$$$. So my expectations were high. The restaurant was attractive. Our server was nice but a bit off kilter. He made some snide remarks so his tip went from 20 to 15%. Everything is al carte so be careful and ask questions. I had the 4 scallops as my entrée. It was nice but not for a regular place to dine. More of a special occasion place.

I was really disappointed by my experience here. The waiter was really knowledgeable and kind but the food was by far overrated and overpriced. We went here for a birthday while we were out of town and after spending close to $ 300 for two people, I was far from impressed. It was a special occasion so the total wasn’t an issue, we just wanted to enjoy ourselves and have a memorable time. The food wasn’t the worst we’ve had, but it wasn’t worth the price tag and I won’t be back. I wish we would’ve made reservations at Ruth’s Chris instead.

There are two parts to the Cuvee Destin restaurant. The happy hour in the bar is less expensive but still has very good food. There are some decent wines sold at a discount, the flatbread is good as are the hamburgers. My preference is to get a good glass or bottle of wine(the main wine list is extensive) and have a bowl of the smoked tomato and shrimp soup. This is probably the best soup I have ever had. After eating it the first time, I bought Chef Creehan’s cookbook, smoked the tomato on a green egg cooker and made a large pot of this soup at home. No one was disappointed. After having made it, I usually opt for ordering it in the restaurant instead; it takes time and effort to make this soup the right way. For dining in the main restaurant, try the Grouper Vince. It is described on the menu as «Pecan Crusted, Honey Worcestershire Sauce, Crispy Garlic Potato Cake». Reportedly this dish was concocted for the marriage festivities for Vince Gill and Amy Grant. But, regardless of the reason for the creation, this dish is outstanding at Cuvee Destin. The venison is also well worth a trip. It tastes fantastic and has a wine reduction sauce covering it that is unforgettable. This restaurant has a comforting, pleasant atmosphere, great food and very good service. It is not inexpensive and dinner with a bottle of wine for two can easily be north of $ 150. Great for special occasions and an unforgettable meal on a trip to the Destin area.

This place is so over rated and such a disappointment. I was really psyched for this occasion because I had fallen for all of the hype surrounding this establishment, but you know what they say, «don’t believe the hype» and I can’t think of an eatery where this slogan would be more appropriate than here. I started out with the Eggplant and it was very mediocre lacking any real taste or imagination. It was as if the chef wanted to have a break out moment in culinary excellence but was too timid to make the leap. This dish was just over all lacking and bland and the sad part for me was that this entrée was the highlight of the evening and it was all down hill from here. If I were to give this dish a grade it would be C-. Next I had the Kung Pao Oysters and the best way to describe this one would be «inconsistent disaster». It was all over the place, some of the oysters were actually crispy and cooked and the rest were just mushy slop. The people in this town just can’t make oysters to save their damn life. I found my self in yet another situation where I was chewing on Oyster gum. I didn’t have a paper napkin or a patio balcony to spit it off of so I had to put it in my plate. And the only thing that made this gross situation even more awkward was when the ding bat waitress came to collect the plate and said«what is this in your plate?». I can’t believe she asked me that. The last time I had some crazy white woman reprimand me for what was in my plate it was one of the nuns when I was in elementary school. And since she reminded me of one of the nuns from my youth, I felt intimidated and told her the truth. LOL! And then she couldn’t just drop the subject and walk away she wanted to keep talking about my regurgitated oyster chew, which in all honesty probably was a step up from the original platter. If I were to give this one a grade it would be D. Lastly I had the Braised Pork Belly and it was just disgusting. It was burnt and greasy and to be honest by this time I was really starting to feel sick. At this point it seemed like they were just trying to F things up on purpose. I mean seriously, who could be intentionally cooking this bad. Pardon the pun but this dish gets a nice solid F. There was really nothing impressive at all about this place other than the TV commercials and internet ads. Nothing that special about the décor or the ambiance. In fact the bar when you first walk in kinds of takes away from any hope of elegance that I’m assuming they want to convey in the dining area. And one more thing, the waitress was really not that good. When I was ordering my food she asked me some really dumb condescending question as if I couldn’t read or didn’t know what I was ordering or something, I don’t remember the exact remark but it was something like«now I hope you know those don’t come with bar be cue». WTF! Really??? In her defense however, I give her credit because she did come back to the table a few minutes later and apologized for her silly comment so that means something. Nevertheless some of these undercover racist wait staff out here really need to get a clue and keep in mind that in this equation that I am the one who had the money and wherewithal to easily drop $ 60 in an over rated establishment such as this while someone like her might not earn $ 60 the entire night. So really who should be snubbing who? I’m not saying this to be stuck up or mean, I’m saying it to prove an obvious point; don’t belittle me for my race and I won’t belittle you for your low paying dead end job. The door swings both ways and I don’t play that. Overall a place that is just pretty much not that good, there are much better places in the area to spend your hard earned loot.

Love the Happy Hour deal at Cuvee. Fried Green Tomatoes with crawfish are superb. We had grouper sliders and they were very good for the price. The only negative for this experience was the misleading menu statement that premium wines are 25% off. I ordered Prisoner and was told at checkout it was not included in the deal. Prisoner is without question a premium wine and that’s why they don’t discount it. I’m fine with that but they say in their menu that they discount premium wine during Happy Hour and there was no asterisk that indicated any wines were excluded and it wasn’t mentioned by the bartender when I ordered it. Where I come from that’s called a «bait and switch» and that’s not a good thing. We will be back anyway — it’s too good a deal for the food and other wines.

We ate here a few weeks ago. We thought it had a nice atmosphere. It was lacking in vegetarian options for my wife. They whipped up a pasta dish, which was quite pricey for something vegetarian. Not a problem if she really enjoyed it, but she didn’t think it was anything special. I had the Grass Fed Beef Carpaccio as an appetizer, and the Black Pepper Crusted Yellowfin Tuna. Like my wife, I thought it was good, but not worth the price. Overall, we probably would not eat here again, but it’s ok for a nice night out. We thought it was overpriced for what we got in return.

My mom and I had the Thanksgiving buffet here. It was delicious! Food was well prepared and yummy. We loved the dressing and the BBQ shrimp & grits. Not a bad deal for a thanksgiving buffet. Dessert options could have been better. Just to note: don’t go if you’re not prepared or used to being around other guests who are blatantly prejudice… it was very obvious… after all this is in the heart of a predominately upper class«Southern» community.

Cuvee, as you might expect, offers an excellent wine list. The list is oddly divided into two parts, essentially the cheap part and the expensive part. Pricing varies, but seems to be about double retail. For me the highlight was the two pages of half bottles, something you don’t see a lot of anymore. I thought the food was good, but there weren’t really any home runs. We tried the portobello mushroom, fried green tomatoes(which were more about crawfish), and the pecan crusted grouper(be sure to get the very sweet sauce on the side). Our server was excellent, and we liked the quiet back corner of the back room, as the bar can get quite boisterous.

First off, this place is the hidden gem of Destin. I was lost at why I could not find a great Resturant here until I walked into this place. Jaykob our waiter was superb. He guided us through the menu options and gave his opinions on what we should get. He was right on target. Anything from the scallops to the sea bass to the key lime pie. All was very well prepared and down to the bone good. The key lime pie was the best I have had in town so far and I have already have had the Donut Hole’s version. Try this place of you are looking for something a little more upscale in this emerald city.

Our best dinner in Destin, hands down! We began in the dining room, and Jeff was our server. Jeff, is a server’s server, as he exudes professionalism, and offered great recommendations. We started with the scallops as an appetizer, and they were amazing(imagine Trump, hands out wide, shouting amazing). Yep, that good. For our entrees, my wife had the sea bass, and I went with the seared tuna– rare of course. Both entrees were pure perfection. For desert, we decided to grab a high top in the bar, as it was still happy hour, and bottles of wine were 25% off. With our bottle, we also ordered a bison flatbread. Wow, one damn good flatbread! Great ambience, great service, and great food! And, the highlight of our evening was meeting Tim Creehan, the famous chef /owner. My wife was kinda’ inebriated and decided to approach him while he was watching the presidential debate. Tim is one of the coolest, most down to earth guys I’ve met. Most people with his status, so to speak, wouldn’t give a stranger the time of day– not Tim, as he was genuine, and sincere. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Cuvee Destin is a good as it gets!

This is our 2nd year dining with Cuvee while vacationing in Destin. And, again, perfect meal. It’s trendy(but not intimidating) inside, food is innovative and delicious and service is always out of this world. We go for the Happy Hour — BEST happy hour(s) ever. Lots of room in the bar area — our party of 5 had zero issues getting a table. Everything we ordered was amazing — both the smoked tomato and shrimp soup and seafood chowder, caesar salad, asian spring rolls, margarita flatbread, bison flatbread, beef quarters and fries. The Bison flatbread is, hands down, the best flatbread I’ve ever had. Ever. Super thin crust, spicy jalapenos, crumbled bison… all perfect. And, the fries are crispy, garlicky and they have just a hint of spice. Homemade ketchup makes for an amazing match. Get off the beach. Get away from the heat and bugs. Get to Cuvee and have an actual dining experience while in Destin!

Cuvée Destin was without a doubt the best food & overall experience we have had in Destin thus far. The ambiance of this Cuvée is wonderful. We really appreciated the way the entire serving staff work together to make sure everyone is taken care of all the time. Jacob, our server made very good suggestions and we would certainly suggest asking for him. We had several glasses of fine champaign and Pear Martinis. On to the conversion to red wine. We got a bottle of Hess that was lovely and paired with meal very well. We then ordered Escargot that was so CLEAN and tasty. Unusual to order Escargot without them served swimming in garlic-olive oil. Delicious! Next we had the Fried-Green Tomatoes with Crawfish Tales. Also Very Good! We then ordered Cesar Salad that was Delish! The dressing is best we’re ever had. I then ordered the chef’s daily special selection that was the Bow-Tie Pasta shaken with a tomato basil cream sauce with chunks of Alaskan King Crabmeat, Asparagus & Artichoke Hearts that was very tasty. We finished with the desert sampler and coffee. Decadent & Delightful! If you’re in Destin it would be an injustice to miss out on the Cuvée. It’s a well oiled machine running at top performance!

Great service great atmosphere not too dressy not too casual. We started with fried green tomatoes with crawfish it had just the right amount of crunch mixed with the creamy cheese and for a little kick the crawfish brought the slightly spicy flavor. My husband had venison steak and it melted in your mouth. I had the corn and crab bisque it was light and refreshing. The desert was the sampler and we had to get it to go we were so full!

This is one jazzy lil spot. We came about a Hour and half before closing. Dining room was closed, so the menu was limited to certain food items. Since the dining room area was closed for the night, we could sit at the bar or one of the high tables. Live music was being played, just know cuvee bistro was jamming up in here, 2 guys playing guitars and they were pretty good! Jimmy was our bartender/he also took our orders. My Mr. Decided on the Bison flatbread and I had the green peppercorn salami flatbread. Mr. Enjoyed his B-i-s-o-n, I don’t eat it!(Nope) My flatbread was really good. I had several drinks. I always do since My Mr. Doesn’t drink, I drink for him hehehe… :)1st was the strawberry mojito.(Yum) 2. Vodka/cranberry still no buz hmmm. :( I asked Jimmy to give me a nice shot of vodka and he brought over a Huge double shot and that Did the trick!!! :) That Jimmy was one cool guy! He made our visit here worth it!
