By far love the food, service, and people here. Nothing much to say. I live in Metairie and drive all the way to Chow’s Garden just to get the best Chinese food. You get big portions for your buck. You get best quality for your buck. Best thing is, EVERYTHING IS FRESH!!!

You’ve been circling the streets of Destrehan for hours, lost, tired and hungry. After giving up hope and moving only on inertia and the last vestiges of pride, you see it. There, look closely, tucked next to the Nail Spa, what is that? You thought it was just a myth, but there it is. Not another boring holy grail or worthless pot of gold, it’s Chow Gardens, the best Chinese food in Destrehan.

Solid Chinese restaurant, big take out business, Dining area is nice but it doesn’t seem to get a lot of use. Food is tasty although it tends to be underspiced (you have to ask for more). Pricing is reasonable. This is our «go to» Chinese take out restaurant. They even deliver if you are too lazy to pick up food. Well worth a trip out of the big city.
