Worst Mexican around. You would think in an airport that service would be fast because everyone is trying to catch a flight… nope, not here. The servers move like the snails I saw in the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. I think I saw three planes depart and land in the amount of time ot took me to get a margarita. BUTWAIT! The margarita she brought me was on the rocks and not frozen as I expected. Eh, it only took 20 minutes with just about nobody else at the aiport on a Thursday evening! The nachos tasted like someone found frozen nachos at a grocery store and heated them up. The cheese tasted pre-made, the chicken tasted like plastic, and the portion size didn’t match the price. Maybe the worst part was that half of everything was missing ingredient-wise. Waitress said they were closing the next day. Oh, great! Give us the crap that will be thrown out in the garbage anyway. What an experience! She got a terrible tip because she didn’t care. The food was terrible… my GF and I wished we ate at the Mediterranean place instead.

Service was pretty good, but the food was awful. I got the queso fundido and it was just baked cheese in a dish, not a dip. FYI to get chips and queso with your meal, it was $ 3.50 extra.

Nothing great, but still one of the better food options at DTW. Tried the butter grilled jumbo shrimp that came with a jicama salad which wasn’t bad. The dressing was too sour. Also had a side of rice and beans, and that was fine. They have Cholula hot sauce, which I like. The waitress was very nice. I’m at this airport frequently enough that I’ll most likely eat here again.

Seemed to be an inviting atmosphere, I had a 3 hour layover and I had to get my football fix. Just wanted to relax and have some wine and an appetizer. I sat at the bar. The waiter/bartender Milton was pretty friendly. I asked him about the Smoked salmon quesadilla but he said he doesn’t like salmon so he couldn’t tell me how it was. I decided to order it and a glass of pinio grigio. The quesadilla came out pretty quickly — had pieces of smoked salmon sprinkled throughout, large portion with some cream cheese and monterey jack cheese filling. It was a little *too* much cheese but it was OK, just very overpriced($ 12.99). I washed it down with another wine and my total bill came to $ 33.89! I do have to give credit, they pour very very generous size glasses of wine so I didn’t complain — had a long flight ahead of me.

Crap food but the margs are ok(which, I supposed if you have enough of the margs you won’t care about the food). Service is lacking.

Good. $ 18 bucks for a margarita and chicken nachos. Had all 4 tv’s on the Lions game but at least it was football.

The service was VERY slow, and the food was gross. I ordered a margarita, which took about 15 minutes to reach my table and I ordered the enchilada, which was small portion and not flavorful. The waitress did a drive by of putting the dish on my table then ran to another table before I could ask for another drink. After waiting about 20 minutes I asked another passing waitress if she could bring by check so I could go to another restaurant. Go to the Mediterranean grill if you’re in the smith tunnel.
