The service was exceptional. The food was above average and for an airport, it was outstanding. The host smiled and took me to a table. The server was an absolute delight. We ordered ours drinks and before we were ready to order food, our drinks were already there. I love that. I got the salmon it was great!!! Overall great experience.

Tried this place again after 2 bad occurrences but same awful result. The service here is terrible consistently so this time I gave up and walked out. I have never been to a place where the employees were so miserable. All the servers and host were whining about how they had been there too long that day. Ignored by the host first because he as walking in the terminal complaining to a friend he was working late. Finally got a seat and was ignored by every server walking by complaining they wanted to go home. Stay away unless you want to wait for a long time for horrible service.

The hostess was awful. She rolled her eyes when we asked for a high top table and disrespected other customers. She also refused to clear tables even though there were upset customers waiting. The only reason this gets two stars is because our server was fantastic.

Absolutely horrible! Our server swore that she put our order in immediately. A check of the kitchen told us that she waited 14 minutes. Also took 20 minutes + a trip to the station to get a glass of wine. They seem to have forgotten that they are located in an airport! Worst of all, she mumbled a defensive statement when she left our check. Recommendation: Spend your money somewhere else.

Had this in the Detroit airport while waiting for a flight to take off. Seating is packed in but the service was fantastic and wait was 0 minutes. Our server is what made everything epic, I forgot her name however. They do not have any gluten-free bread nor gluten-free menu. We ordered an appetizer of cheese fries, and a hamburger with no bun. My compadres also ordered kids sliders and chicken tenders. The food was excellent, and the pickles are very good! The coffee she prepared me was also super tasty and strong. Sorry this review is basic as crap but you know when it’s late and your like let’s write a review of this restaurant I encountered on my latest journey of eliteness. I mean honestly I’d stop by here again if my stars alined properly… They should however get gluten-free bread hence my 4 star general review.

Dirty, long wait, horrible food, the service would have been better at McDonalds. Go to Friday’s it’s a better bet!

Restaurant is supposed to serve food until 8:00PM, but turned my two sons and I away when we went to get seated for dinner at 7:35. They said we could have drinks if we wanted. Lazy Sachs of Sh*t!

Horrible service. Waitress staff was slow, hostess was rude. I let them know that several items on the salad bar were empty and the staff responded«WE’RECLOSINGINANHOUR, WE’RENOTREFILLINGANYITEMS, WHATYOUSEEISWHATYOUGET». My coworkers entrees were over cooked. Then… checks arrived and the bill was a mess. Wow, I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The motto should be we don’t have to be nice because we are all you’ve got. Servers don’t notice you are there. Tables dirty. Good stale. Salad bar ok but noticed mushy tomatoes as if they were married from the ones the day before. So glad restaurants feel they don’t have to try when on an airport. Need to take lessons from root down at DIA

As a major chain I would expect that the business would have the same standards from one location to the next. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff was beyond rude. I ordered an iced tea. The tea was soured. When I told my waiter he asked that I select something else. I asked if they could kindly just make a new pot of tea. He rudely said, yes in 20 minutes. When he returned with a new tea, 5 min later it was still soured. I asked the person I was traveling with to taste it. He also said it was soured. I just stayed at the table with my friend and got me a tea at another business.

Worst service I’ve had in a long time. For an airport restaurant, the host and waitress did not seem to realize that people may want to get in and out so they can catch a flight. The host moved so slow I wanted to help him! Definitely no sense of urgency. Food is standard, next time I’m going to TGI Friday’s.

We waited 30 minutes for a table of five. We then were told they couldn’t seat us unless we split up. We walked down to TGI Fridays. Great service, good food and we could sit together!

I usually don’t bother reviewing airport restaurants because hey, where else are you going to go? But this Ruby Tuesday has annoyed me on enough occasions that I had to share. I generally like Ruby Tuesday, but this location is consistently the slowest I’ve ever been to… especially problematic in an airport where people have flights to catch. They are frequently out of food and beverages listed on the menu. The prices are more expensive than a typical location, which is expected, but just rubs salt in the wound of bad service. On my most recent visit on a weekday afternoon, it took 10 minutes for a waitress to speak to me. I ordered a drink and tiramisu because I knew cooked food would take too long. The waitress quickly brought my drink. Then another staff member said he would have to go look for the tiramisu in the basement because they didn’t have any in the kitchen. 15 minutes later, after sharing annoyed looks with my fellow customers, I finally caught the waitress and asked her to cancel the dessert and bring the check. A new customer had sat down next to me, and after more than 5 minutes without service, I asked if he was in a hurry. He jokingly said«I hope not» and then asked how long it took to get my food. I started to explain I didn’t get any, and then the elusive waitress suddenly appeared behind me, interrupting and saying how someone had to look for my food in the basement(Can I just note here that no one wants to hear their food is in the basement? Maybe stop emphasizing that). Awkward… to be fair, I don’t blame the waitress because this restaurant is always a mess. I think it’s just poorly managed.

Good for a chain. The food was good, and the salad bar was good as always. No real variety though. Drink was pretty weak. Service was slow and not very pleasant.

Bad food, worse service. We had an hour and a half between flights, should have been plenty of time for a quick meal. The restaurant was clearly understaffed at the time. We waited to be sat a dirty table. The hostess casually brushed off the straw wrappers and proceed to seat us anyway. After a long wait with the menus the waitress stopped by for a drink order. My co worker and I each ordered a beer. After another long wait the drinks showed up. They were out of what my co worker wanted so she decided to bring something else and with the cheerfuller advice«these look the same». We go to place our order, I asked for the turkey avocado burger. The waitress informed me that they were out of avocado but i went for it anyway. Hearing that they were out of the avocado my coworker changed his mind and went for a steak ordered medium rare. After hunting down some silverware we dug in. To my surprise I was served some type of chicken sandwich that I had not ordered however, it did come with plenty of avocado. My co worker’s steak came out an obvious well done. We quickly finished our meals and asked for the check. By this time our hour and a half had disappeared and we were left running to catch our flight. I should note, the manager did pass by twice. He was oblivious to the fact that every patron in the restaurant was displeased.

Sitting at a back-corner table at Ruby Tuesday with a glass of wine and a Thai spring roll appetizer is about as good as it gets waiting at Detroit Metro Airport for my flight. Service was good, food was good, wine was good. Prices are a little higher than in non-airport Ruby Tuesdays, but I’ll bet their rent is a little more expensive, so I’m fine with paying the differential.

I’m surprised that a chain restaurant inside an airport could rate this high, but it does. I really needed a fresh salad to counter the effects of eating too much far food over the weekend. The atmosphere is pretty comfortable, especially for an airport, and it’s very clean. The service is quite friendly. I had the Carolina Chicken Salad, my husband a grilled chicken salad. The vegetables were fresh. The dressing was decent. It was just what I needed before I got on the plane.

Walked out after a half hour of deplorable service and enjoyed myself at Hockeytown Café. I spoke to the MOD, who was understanding and professional, in front of the waitress before walking out.

Excellent food. Guacamole was fresh and hand made. Avocado chicken sandwich was tender and not too greasy. The fried zucchini side was EXCELLENT! Shocker for airport food, but a happy surprise!

The service was great. In comparison to TGIFridays in this terminal, this place is amazing. Cajun dishes are just a bunch of hot pepper but salad bar is good!
