First review! This little diner is tucked inside the lobby of the MSU college of Osteopathic Medicine. People that come here tend to be medical students, medical center workers, and desperate patients that can’t find another place to eat. They serve what you’d expect from a local diner: Burgers, sandwiches, gyros, soups, salads and coneys. They also have breakfast platters(available at any time of the day). While the place is really catered to convenience IMO they do their food pretty well. Vegetables are fresh, entrees are made to order, and prices are very affordable(with large portions). There are definitely better hot dog joints here but I thought their coney dogs were pretty flavorful(steamy buns!). As with most restaurants of this type, after a meal you may leave wondering what you ate and why you feel so. unhealthy(as I have several times after eating here). They do have ‘heart healthy’ and vegetarian options, and overall I wouldn’t think of this place as a greasy spoon. I didn’t give them 5 stars because waiting time for food seems to be inconsistent. Usually service is speedy but there have been several occasions when I’ve been here when its just too slooow. I understand that its busy during lunch hours, but still it shouldn’t take 20+ mins to make a hamburger. Open weekdays 7 – 4 for breakfast and lunch. They have combo selections and daily specials. I’d recommend ordering their Gyros and wraps.
