Started having a fun game. Reached second hole. Put camera bag down on fake turf to play hole. Return to find that turf is hiding a deep puddle underneath it and camera bag is almost soaked through. Almost ruined $ 3000 dollars worth of camera equipment. Not fun.

You can tell that this place has been around since the dawn of time. Well, at least as long as the boardwalk. Paper mache obstacles and animals and the course is pretty basic. However, you cannot BEAT paying $ 2 for an hour or so of mini golf right off of the beach. Great breeze, well lit and an inexpensive good time. I’ll take it, every time. :-)

I am surprised at the high reviews for this mini golf! I likely will not return or recommend. I love mini golf and everywhere I go always try to find a course — this was the worst I have played on, and as beautiful as the view was, it doesn’t make up for the sub-par course. Each hole is elevated a few inches off the ground making game play a little awkward, and they had an actual rule posted around the course that each person was to finish completely(read: golf ball in hole) before the next person can start. Yes, $ 4 is not going to break the bank, but you definitely get what you pay for. A few of the holes had some of the border bricks missing when we went. The course is unimaginative and very outdated. Many of the hole courses are pretty straight without any obstacle; they just have some bumps along the way. I would happily pay more money for an updated, fun course!

3.5 stars… For $ 3 I would give this place 4 stars, that extra buck is gonna knock them down a star. For $ 4 to play mini golf on a roof overlooking a beach it’s a pretty good deal. It’s a bare bones type of mini golf, extremely simple and uncreative. It does tend to fill up with kids during the day, our group just gave up and didn’t want to play the last few holes due to a couple large groups of slow players. If you have a car spend some extra money and head over to Jungle Jims on Rt 1 but if you want to just get off the beach and amuse yourself on the boardwalk, Ryan’s rooftop is a fun way to kill some time(Whiskey Jacks or 10 cent skeeball get my vote though).

Okay, so this wasn’t the essence of «mini-golf» — there were few obstacles, the holes were short and boring, and there definitely wasn’t a windmill. Looking at the holes alone, it felt more like a putting green than a mini-golf. But for $ 4(!), you can joke around with a group of friends on a rooftop overlooking the beach and play 18 holes of mini-golf. We had a good time, and it was far cheaper than any of us had expected(for that price, what else can you ask for?). I even splurged, playing with a UVA golf ball for $ 3.50 more(you get to keep it). There’s really no other mini-golf in the Rehobeth area, and this one is nicely located in the middle of the boardwalk. If you feel like taking a break from the nauseating rides at «Funland,» this is a good activity.

You know, you aren’t going to find any windmills or any opening and closing hippos’ mouths at this place. But you’ll still have a good time. 18 small holes with minor«tricks»(think fake rocks and slight bumps in the terrain), and it only cost $ 4! Still a great deal even though now I’ve learned it used to be $ 3.50. Really though, this is a tourist attraction, and they could get away with charging $ 10.50. So $ 4 for mild competition with friends while standing on a roof looking over the ocean is a bargain. For an additional $ 3.50, you can use a special ball with a design or a logo of your favorite NFL or college team, and you get to keep the ball. I went on a Saturday evening on a summer weekend, so the place was predictably crowded. I didn’t feel rushed necessarily, but we were always waiting to play the next hole, and someone was always waiting on us. Which is unfortunate, because my golf game isn’t something a nice family should have to see. We were moving quickly enough, but I have a feeling that players taking too long or being too rowdy would get a dirty look or two. The whole experience took about an hour. Then we got funnel cake.

Ryan’s Mini Golf was a neat little location — it is actually on a roof top overlooking a beach! That part was amazing — the views, the being on the roof, that is amazing. Additionally, there are used books for sale — and who doesn’t love a used book sale! The prices are right — the mini golf holes themselves aren’t all that challenging or amazing, but the other amenities make it worth it. It does get crowded in the evenings with pre-teens.

Cheap and fun! We were the last game of the season today and even though it was a little chilly we enjoyed spending $ 7 there for a round.

It’s on a roof. It’s cheap($ 3.50). There are no obstacles or moving objects; just humps and bumps. But most importantly, this was where Team Alliance beat Jeff W at mini-golf and was just the start of me stepping on the gas and taking over as the mini-golf champ of the weekend. And always remember: SLOWPLAYKILLSGOLF!(an actual rule on the scorecard).

Ok so i will admit that its not the greatest mini golf on the face of the earth… but for $ 3.50… i dont think i could ask for anything more. Its so much fun to play on the roof and you aren’t distracted by random things like scuba divers or pteradactyls or pirates. Just an occasional bear or turtle. Still, this place is fun and a great place to stop on the rehoboth boardwalk. Plus the lady that works there was nice and held our purses for us :) so yea, i could spend $ 7 to go to a course and pretend i’m back in medieval times or being chased by a t-rex… or spend 3.50 and focus on the whole point of playing mini golf: trying to beat Jeff.
