It’s closed. I’m bummed, it wasn’t the greatest place but it was basic. Not many adult places to have a drink. It will be missed.

This place is a nice little hidden gem. The owner is super friendly as well as the bar staff. Cute waitresses as well. They have cheap beer and TVs all over. Great place to grab a drink after work or watch a game. Not really a place to pick up chicks or meet a bunch of college brahs. Just your typical little neighborhood sports bar with nice people and cheap drinks. No other bars in Diamond Bar like this. All others are Asian infused.

I live in Diamond Bar but I would rather go anywhere but this place. I’ve gone to Happy’s about a dozen times and its always the same; THESERVICESUCKS!!! (I drive out to another sports bar in Rancho Cucamonga instead of going here) The waitresses really believe that they are above the customers and don’t have to provide any service. I don’t know why the owner does not do something about this. Sometimes he’ll be sitting in there working on his laptop and seems oblivious to what’s going on. I guess he’s more concerned with his bar in Chino. The place has real potential but they need to clean house and get some employees in there that want to work.

Place is depressing. I’m 21 years old and when I walk in I feel like I instantly convert to a middle aged man, with a bad job, having a mid-life crisis, still trying to be cool and party, and wishing they could turn the clock back 30 years. The beer was cheap with the check in though.

I’ve lived in Diamond Bar for most of my life and have yet to try out Happy’s. A lot of my friends frequent the place but I always forget about it. So on a random Monday I talked two friends into coming here for a drink since it made no sense to go to Downtown Fullerton. We ordered a pitch of Stella for $ 16. There was actually a pretty good crowd for a Monday night. There 2 pool tables, about 3 – 4 TVs playing ESPN. The bartender was very cute and friendly. I want to come on a weekend to see what the crowd is like. Its a good place to come when you just want a beer and chill with friends but not the hottest spot.

Not sure of the low ratings… this is EXACTLY what was ecpected when you go to a simple local sporst bar… good beer, bar food, lots of TV’s, no frills. Anyone who want’s resturant service and food, GOTO A RESTURANT! Wife and I had a couple fo beers, a burger and dog, and went any very happy as it is what is advertised… A LOCALSPORTSBAR! BEER, BARFOOD, perfect… music, sucked as it was techno beat pop(could have used a little rock and roll, or even Alt Rock, or classic rock(music kept it from being 5 star. Again, stay away if you want something more then what it is, a local bar!

#378 I’m just going to lay down the facts. + Bartender had no idea how to make a Bloody Mary. + After scrounging up a recipe, it took her 20 minutes to figure it out. + I was drunkenly hit on for 15 minutes by an old, white dude while I was clearly sitting next to my boyfriend at the time(he’s the one who dragged me here). + Everyone inside was 40+. + Bartender also could not tell the difference between a lemon and a lime. Have a «happy» time!

Do yourself a favor and follow the bartender advice: DONOTORDERTHESTEAK! It’s the worst steak in the planet. HEFEWEISEN hits the spot though.

Alway’s have a good time. Girls are the so nice and always make sure your glass is full. $ 3.00 a pint for hef or a guiness? Awsome! Nice little hangout to chill with no frills but its cool like that. I would give 5 stars but their where two little kids running around. In a bar?

I met some friends here who have stopped in once or twice in the past. I was sooooo not impressed. I like a good dive bar as much as the next guy, but this place was junk. The bartender was rude and was more interested in eating her salad and talking to some guy at the bar then she was in pouring a drink for us. The small selections of beers they have on tap are overpriced as are their bottled beers. I didn’t try the food here, and don’t think I ever would, based purely on the fact that it is a dive bar and didn’t look very sanitary. We were there until around 10:30 at night, and the kicker was they had two young kids playing pool in the bar, young meaning around the ages of 8 and 12. Don’t know if that’s legal or not. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this establishment any time soon. Do yourself a favor and find another bar to hang out in before you come to this one.

If u want a couple of beers, watch the game, play pool, and grab a bite to eat, then this what you will get here. Don’t expect anything more.

Happy’s is just a regular neighborhood bar. Not a large drink selection, but you can get the basics. The prices are so-so. The food isn’t really good, but I don’t think that’s why you come here anyhow. The service is friendly and the patrons basically stick to themselves. When I go with my parents they always know someone there and introduce me. I guess that tells you a lot about Happys and my parents.

Alcohol selection? They have a few beers on tap, and also sell bottled beers. No microbrews. Food? Overpriced. Location? One of the only bar I know of in Diamond Bar. I can’t help but like it here. This was the first bar I ever went to legally, and the bartender gave me a free pint of Newcastle for my birthday present!(I went at 12:00am the day I turned 21) I mean, it IS really friendly, and if you live in Diamond Bar or Walnut, it’s a pretty convenient place to go if you want to go to a bar(since, ya know, it’s pretty much the only bar in town that isn’t in a bowling alley or Chili’s) At the same time, though, it’s right across the street from a grocery store and a Taco Bell. You could get more selection of alcohol for better prices at the store, and same goes with food at Taco Bell; so you’re really paying for the atmosphere here, which isn’t too great. The clientele was friendly, and the other reviewers were definitely right about the attractiveness of the female bartenders, so Happy’s actually seemed like a pretty friendly place. It has pool and TV, like everyone says, and all the standard bar stuff. Cute, but nothing REALLY sets it apart, except for the price of beer, which is an atrocity.

A Neighborhood bar. I havent tasted the food yet and the beer selection is ok. I heard that the waitresses are hot but I have not seen one yet. I went there for a Monday Night Game and place gets packed. I will probably come back here ever so often.

Beer prices are nothing to write home about here. It’s probably the best bar in the area that isn’t a pain to have to do a lot of driving for if you live in the db. That’s not saying much. This area sucks for fun. The next best are Barrows and the bowling alley bar. The prices are better at Barrows, I believe, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Anyway, my point of view is that a bar like this, a pretty divey hole, should offer better beer prices than they do more often. I think I’ve read some complaints about the patrons, and that’s off. It’s a typical neighborhood bar crowd and everyone is there to blow off steam overall. I’ve never felt intimidated by the crowd. Can get a little broish, but it’s the IE.

Still awful? Yep. I went on a Wednesday night with my best friend. You know who was in this bar? Us & the two bartenders. No joke. DEAD. The music was bad. We played pool but don’t actually know the rules so we just started hitting whatever balls we felt like. I am still 100% annoyed at the fact that they don’t serve liquor here. Annoyed.

This place can truly be considered as a «local favorite» neighborhood bar~~~! It is a sporty bar, which fits exactly what you can imaging, classic bar counter, with a cute girl behind it with tight tee, couple pool tables, juke box at the corner, and with more then 20+ TVs scattered around the bar~ The bar is not that big, if you do want to show up here on NFL sunday, you better make sure you are supporting the hometown favorite, or probably find yourself stuck at a lonely corner with a small ass tv… BTW~ this place can be reserved for party usage! which, i truly believe the size of this entire place will be great place for a decent size of 20~40 ppl~! If you just want to have a place to hang on weekdays, after work, it is truly a cozy place to have a little get-away for a brief moment! Almost every night, Happy’s got specials going~! for example: Monday you have Taco Special + All Mexican beer night… Wednesday, you have some sort of steak dinner for $ 7 bucks… I was there on a NFL sunday, and OHMYGOSH~! the waitressing girls, all are eye popping!!! When you got a chance, swing by! and say HI~ Gather few buddies, hang out there, play some pool~ It is what life is all about…
