This is a shady looking place! But my boyfriend swore by this places chicken broccoli Alfredo ziti! And wow was i surprised! The portion is huge! Big enough for two people, creamy, flavorful, packed with chicken and broccoli for $ 12.00 it filled two people with leftovers This is probably the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried many low end to high end restaurants!

Ordered a pepperoni pizza… Delicious. Pepperoni tasted fresh. Dough was tasty, sauce is home made as well as the dough. Crust was a little crunchy but I like it that way. Honestly one of my favorite pizzas. Haven’t tried much else yet but their pizza is great. I don’t get how some of these reviews say their pizza is tasteless, are they missing taste buds? Also their cheese is far from plastic.

FANTASTIC pasta. Their chicken broccoli and ziti is superb. It taste so homemade and delish. The spices are just right and everything is so creamy and juicy. A must try. Puritans is my one stop ziti shop.

Puritan Pizza makes great food. Their food is probably the best you can find in the area of Dorchester. They also provide great customer service and customer satisfaction when it comes down to delivery orders. Every time i have made an order for delivery, i have received my order quicker compared to other pizza shops. Recommend coming here definitely.

I waited two hours for one small cheese pizza and then when the driver got here, the total was more than it said online… and he proceeded to tell me that their prices went up. Needless to say, I didn’t tip him. You know, you can still get slices by the dollar in NY and for MUCH better quality.

We live local and have ordered here a few times and the pizza has been good. Tonight though was a big disappointment. The service was outstanding but food not so. We ordered a large pizza, half margarita /half BBQ chicken… We received half pepperoni, half plain chicken. Dry crust and no sauce… Poor. We hope to get better if we try again as its close to us.

This people made good pizza but the customer service is awful they have dominican guys yelling at each using profanity words against females. I gave them 2 because I can deliver food to my door instead of eating inside of that circus full of clowns.

I am not from the area and was looking for a pizza place for lunch(on a Sunday) I had actually drove by looking to go to a restaurant down the road. Despite the information provided on their website they were closed this day so I went here. The entire staff was very friendly and I’m quite happy with the pizza. This is an excellent place to go especially if you are from out of town, unlike all two many places there is off street parking.

Their crust is extremely dry. The cheese looks like plastic? It doesn’t taste good I would say it tasted like frozen pizza. But their fried chicken wins.

Review was for slice of pizza combo with soda. First time 2 slice with a sode combo wasn’t enough to scare me. Second time it started to faze me that yes it was really bad. I always tend to give a place more then one time before review or even give up. Well it’s time to give up, dry cheese and tomato sauce that is dry. Must be sitting in that warmer way to long.

This place is okay. Their pizza was extremely light but it made my fiancée worry because it seemed a lot like frozen pizza, much like digiorno’s pizza. We got a pepperoni and a regular cheese pizza. I also got the appetizer sampler. The fries weren’t seasoned, the chicken strips were dry and definitely frozen and mozzarella sticks were probably frozen as well. The wing dings however were great. We also got a chicken cutlet sandwich and it was also frozen manufactured chicken but the bread was really soft and I enjoyed that. The delivery came quickly, however there is a two dollar delivery charge. I think I saw on their menu that they also charge a dollar if you use a debit/credit card, but my receipt did not reflect that charge. Overall, I think this place is just okay. There’s definitely better places within the area.

Been coming here for years since I was a kid and have seen the business change hands a few times. And right now, it’s the best its ever been, staff and food wise. Love this place!

I was in the mood for a mean meatball sub and decided to try Puritan for the first time. The menu was very VERY basic(or boring). I decided to order the Side Sampler as back up. Good move. For 9.99 the sampler includes 3/ea of the following: mozzarella sticks — Tasty! You can actually taste the cheese not just see it. And really good marinara to go along with it. Chicken fingers — pretty good as well. With Ken’s sweet & sour. Chicken wings… um wings is a bit of a stretch. They’re teeny tiny, nugget size. Just a nibble in each one + a side of Fries — the most boring fries I’ve had in a long time. NO flavor. Zero. Zip. And now on to my mini-meatball sub. GROSS! the meatballs are *barely* the size of a quarter. Skimpy sauce. I thought I could save it with my leftover mozz stix marinara but, alas, I was wrong. 2 bites and I’m OVERIT! I’m glad I ordered the sampler so that I could have SOME dinner… But the sub was just a shameful waste.

We just moved to the area and we had of those days where you justwant pizza for dinner. We called Puritan for pickup, and was told our large pepperoni would be ready in 15 minutes… And it was. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was good, yummy pizza. Definitely recommended.

Tried Puritan tonight for the first time. I ordered a large pizza with peppers spinach mushrooms And bacon as well as An order of buffalo fingers. They didn’t disappoint. I got delivery. Ordered at 8:10. Arrived at 8:45. Not bad at all. The pizza was still hot and fresh. The buffalo tenders were delicious!, crispy and smaller fingers but. Very large portion. I will certainly order from Puritan again. The 4 stats is because the pizza could’ve been cooked a few min longer because the crust was soft. Nothing a quick toast in the toaster oven can’t fix! …BOMB

Very decent pizza. Nothing out of the ordinary, but tasty. The crust is very light, almost airy, and that makes it a bit less filling than other slices. I had the Hawaiian. The ham was excellent, but the pineapple was very obviously out of a can(not unusual, but not great either). I would definitely order from them again, however. The best part was that the pizzas we ordered arrived incredibly fresh and hot! Always a plus.

The place is in a strip mall. I thought it would either be real good, or terrible. The first piece I saw was under a heat lamp. It looked worn out. So we ordered a fresh whole pizza. The crust was amazingly light. The toppings were nicely distributed. We ordered a large, and I almost ate the entire thing by myself. The really great thing was it didn’t feel like I had just eaten an entire pizza. These folks know what they’re doing. Now I’m left wondering, is pizza really that good here, have I just been eating horrible pizza for the last 20 years, or is it some combination of both? It wasn’t expensive either. A large three toppings and a couple of drinks for under $ 20. I can tell you this, I think this pizza was just good. One thing’s for sure, it’s ruined me for pizza in South Texas. Something’s in this northeastern water that just makes pizza work. One thing’s for sure, Puritan’s had great crust. Just loved it.
