Good is ok, nothing special here… maybe for Dover DE it is. Our waitress was pretty short with us, as if she didn’t want to do her job. She was knowledgeable about their product and one of the guest with us can be a pain in the royal jewels when it comes to selecting food. We had a Vegan with us and he only had one maybe 2 choices on tbe menu. There’s not much to pick from in Dover so I can’t say I wouldn’t go back… it was an ok expirence

Decided to try out the green turtle after years of living nearby. Great, speedy and friendly service from every staff member we encountered. Appetizers came out quick and were delicious. I had the fish and chips which I have to say were the best I’ve ever had and my husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was great. Our sever, Akaela(sorry if spelled incorrect) was great and was very kind and attentive to our 8 month old son who was with us. Many staff members stopped to greet our son as well when they walked passed as well. 10⁄10 would recommend to anyone!

Ambiance/Décor/Atmosphere: Green and brown colors like a turtle, but other than that the semblance and reference to turtles is few and far between. This place is a sports bar and shows as such. TVs and sports paraphernalia are strewn throughout the larger sized establishment. It’s neither cold nor warm and what you see here you’ve seen elsewhere. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired; floors were sticky, food crumbs and trash were on the floor, and stink bugs among other flying insects were floating around the air. Noise/sound level: Average to quieter than that because the place was not generally crowded when I visited. If music plays or the place ever gets crowded the higher ceilings might create conversation issues, but under normal circumstances not so much. Menu: Bar food that you would expect to see elsewhere with a few signature items key to Greene Turtle. The menu is medium sized with interesting selections and the liquor section is sized well with beer, wine, and spirits. Service: Pushy and obnoxious. Ordered a beer and was never asked what sized but received a tall. What if I wanted to try another one without getting drunk in the process? Argued with Natalia because she was adamant the chefs could not cook a burger medium because the meat was too small. Not a good sign if you can’t hard sear a burger on both sides then place it on bun. Then, she proceeded rush us without mentioning she was closing out until her shift was just about over. Had she mentioned that in the beginning we might have opted for another server. My father rides a bus because he’s wheel chair bound so we operate on the bus’s schedule. Food: Not very good at all; burgers burnt and greasy, fries old, cold, and chewy, and chicken on BBQ flat bread old and dry. Most of the food was hard to get down, and most of the food wound up in take out boxes; too bad my mother didn’t forget them on the table. Bar: Fully stocked with macro and micro beers, wine, and liquor. Price: Excessively expensive for the quality of food, service, and cleanliness of the organization. Overall: Seems like a place to drink and that’s really it. If you can afford it there are many alcoholic offerings to imbibe in, but the food is terrible. I’d come again only to hang out, but since I don’t live in Delaware and only visit I don’t think I’ll be back any time soon, or ever.

I’m a bit of a neat freak. First thing I look for is cleanliness. Happily the restaurant was just fine. Visiting town and was recommended I visit. The tilapia was great. I’m not a fan of normal coleslaw so I very surprised with how good their coleslaw is. They used vinaigrette instead of mayo. I had asked for the slaw on the side so I was a little dissatisfied until I realized how good it was. The Server offered to redo the order but the slaw really enhanced the fish so I didn’t take her up on it. Over all I enjoyed my visit and will most likely come back the next time I’m in town.

Was seated promptly but the floor area was trashy under our table. Used napkins, straw papers, and other trash littered about. Table across from us had nacho chips(crushed) and other food on floor. Ordered ice tea and they came without straws or ice tea spoons. Asked waitress when she came for our order to get us straws. She said she always forgets them. 15 minutes, I went to the kitchen to get them myself. Service was poor and facility was nasty for a place that hasn’t been open all that long. AND, they weren’t busy at 8pm when we were there. Won’t be going back!!! It’s been a month and still no contact from Green Turtle after I answered their generic response to my posting!!! Really sorry business.

Great staff, fun times at Trivia. Definitely one of my better Greene Turtle experiences. This location is much more impressive than Rehoboth– even with the beach view! The food was pretty good– I got the fish tacos. I’ll be back again.

This is one of the best pub style restaurants in the area. The menu is a bit limited but is very enjoyable I love the crab dip it actually has a good amount of crab in it. The service is typically good and the servers are always friendly. The prices are a bit more than you would pay at a Fridays for example.
