Windswept Enterprises

I was running late to a board meeting and needed to make copies. I ran in and was immediately greeted by a clerk who assisted me speedily. They matched my sense of urgency and the prints were cheap. They get my recommendation.

This place is awful. First off they are in a shopping center and the building doesn’t even have a sign!!! It honestly looks like an empty building — what kind of business doesn’t have a sign??? Only in Dover…
Secondly its complete chaos in there. Everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The order I was suppose to pick up wasn’t even ready when I got there and no one even knew what or where it was.
I would rather pay a few bucks more than deal with this place…

Windswept is a local printing business, and unless you want to have stuff printed at Staples and their print clerk du jour, this is where you’re going to have to go.
You will be helped within less than a minute after walking through the door. You will be asked if you need help at least once per minute, even if you’re standing around waiting for the guy to find the print order you emailed them hours before, or are waiting for said order to be printed (because it will only take, «just a moment». I’m actually amazed at the number of employees on duty here at any given time. My wife and I theorize that the only way they can be making money, is because they are making money. as in printing it. That or there’s way more money in printing than I thought.
It is funny that the owner of the business can’t really work a computer… but there’s competent employees there to help him.
Overall, Windswept is okay. The employees are friendly and for Dover standards, it meets Dover standards.

This is a shipping business using USPS, Fed Ex, UPS etc. I used their services on Friday, September 14^th to ship 2 boxes back to California. The clerk (Todd) was totally incompetent and clearly didn’t know what he was doing. I should have taken my packages directly to the USPS instead of wasting my time there. As of this writing, I still have not received my packages as they were not sent from their location until Monday, September 17^th. If I ever have to ship something from Delaware again on another visit, I will not use this business and I encourage others not to use them. They’re way overpriced and I could have shipped my items for half of what I was charged.
