El Pollo Loco

On numerous occasions, and various items ordered, our chicken has been totally burned. We have
spoken to the managers twice, and a person from corporate. Giving it one more try today, once again the chicken was burned in our salad. The other issue is going thru drive thru, they continue to screw up what we ordered. If corporate can’t fix this place, or do some quality checks, we are done at this location. This place gives El Pollo a bad rap.

First went to the Pollo Loco in south gate but they had no pollo. then I came to this one and Nothing either… then why call yourself POLLO LOCO?!

Horrible. Just Horrible.

They don’t hire Black people. One of the people had the nerve to lie me and say that there are two that are in school but work in the day. I asked her if they work during school hours. She says yes. So I asked her, «how do you go to school and work here at the same time.?» I will take this post down when I see Black workers behind the counter. As it stands, it’s all Mexican.

Terrible service. They always get my order wrong. It’s near my house, but I go out of my way to go to another one.
I ask for no pico and every time they give me pico. It doesn’t seem that hard…

The cilantro dressing here is bomb… I put it on everything… I frequent different locations across the state’s…I never have had a bad experience

I decided to go to el pollo loco drive thru, long line 20 minutes later finally I approached the speaker and the lady said that they ran out of chicken, and if I wanted to wait 30 to 45 minutes. Unbelievable how can a specialty chicken restaurant ran out of cooked chicken.

The food is awesome but the fact my son couldn’t walk around cause they had trash all over the tables were the worst possible shape with trash & then to top it off I’m waiting & they forget my order & look at me can I help you? Like really the bad reviews are true!

This location is the worst one I’ve ever gone to! Customer service sucks! They give you not only me but some co worker’s the wrong or incomplete food orders. First time I went there the food didn’t even taste like El Pollo chicken. nI drive all the way to the Bellflower one on Alondra location #3454. They seem to care about their patrons there and the food is always good and consistent.

About two weeks ago I ordered chicken. When I got home I saw that it was not cooked well. So then today I went again, and when I got home I was very disappointed to see that the mashed potato was missing from my order. I’ve kept my receipts and have seen that the cashier who has been messing up my order is Jessica. They have lost me as a customer.

Sucks!!! Avoid if possible service sucks there is no sense of urgency like ppl have all the time in the world. The workers didn’t seem to care that there was a line in the drive thru I waited for at least 15 mins maybe 20 for my food. I watched them and there was no order they seemed lost the manager seemed lost too asked me what my order was and it was wrong. She didn’t seem to get on them about moving the line along or working faster it didn’t seem to matter. Service sucks and for a fast food establishment that should be important. Won’t be coming back & my food is cold. Waste of my time. They don’t deserve a star.

Always clean, always fast and almost always has wing lovers. I love the salads here and the avocado salsa. I eat at epl sometimes 3 or 4 times per week. Really cant go wrong here fresh healthy fast food.

I hate this location!!! Employees here are rude & don’t care about customers at all. They act like they’re in high school still and it’s all about them. El Polo Loco makes great chicken but the lack of customer services & professionalism is something this franchise should be concerned about. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST!

i have to start off by saying that el pollo loco is my favorite fast food restaurant, because MOST EPL locations are fast, yummy, convenient, and affordable. but this location is by far the WORST. i will not come back to this location, simply because the service and quality of the food is horrible. the
it has been really convenient for me to stop by here on my way to/​from work, however, i will not come back. salad on one occasion was old and brown, and they only put a few pieces of chicken on it, plus the creamy cilantro dressing cup they give was half empty! at that same visit, the salsa bar was dirty and they were out of salsa cups and had to reuse my 1 cup due to that. i gave them the benefit of the doubt even though the manager (short, male, latino) was the cashier. the other reviews here confirm that the quality of service and food here is horrible.
again, because of the conveniency of this location, i stopped by on another ocassion and ordered a BRC (beans, rice, and cheese burrito). figured they couldn’t mess that up, but they sure did. rice was old, and/​or burnt and chewing on it felt like chewing on rubber/​plastic. threw it away and walked out. gave a review by doing survey on back of receipt and asked for a call to try to provide feedback to improve this location, but no call. definitely avoid it and opt for other restaurant options in the neighborhood.

I love pollo loco. But this is the worst one to come to. The tacos were cold. The poblano burrito I ordered was missing ingredients and the worst part the chips had some oil substance and it smelled like oven cleaner. They really need to fire all their employees and get new people. This was really disappointing.

They are nice here. Food is great. Marisol has a great attitude and a winning smile. Super nice. If we had a problem they fixed it beyond expectation. Food comes out fairly fast. Sometimes the salsa bar is empty of something and or dirty. Every time we come in the tables are dirty. I cleaned our table. Floor dirty. The windows look like they were cleaned with a greasy towel. Overall this place is good but not the best. We come here because the food is good and they are nice here.

The staff at this location are so nice and helpful. Very friendly. It’s always nice to get good friendly service.

This is definitely one of the dirtiest El Pollo Locos I have been to. I have been here 3 times. 2 drive thru and once inside. The 2 times i went thru drive thru it was a wait of over 15 minutes. So my last attempt to come, the line was so long I went inside. Epic fail. The cashier Zaria was so nice. That is the only positive. The salsa bar, gross. The dining area only had 3 customers and it was so disgustingly dirty. It’s a shame because EPL is yummy but after this visit I wont be back.

The salsa bar was a mess and I made the mistake of putting my drink down next to it while waiting for my food and got the hottest salsa in my right eye. Had contacts in so I could not wash it out. Idiots stood there and gave me napkins. I should sue them. Any lawyers out there want to take this case? h

I am so pissed just ordered a carnitas totasda salad. First it was small. Second, they didn’t give me any avocado, which it comes with. Third, there was big ends of lettuce! Gross! Forth hardly any beans or rice! This place is horrible. Hey workers! Why not take some pride in what you do? This place is close to my house, but I don’t think I will be going here ever again. What a waste of money!

This is probably the worst Pollo Loco this side of the Mississippi.
This is the only Pollo Loco I have been to where they consistently run out of chicken.
Really? Out of pollo at El Pollo Loco?
I have to wait 30 mins to get pollo? Sheesh. Somebody get that manager some inventory management training.
Also, orders are consistently incorrect. This place needs help!
