McDonald’s

How does this location only have one star? I have randomly stopped off the freeway now 3 times over the past year and each time I have come the staff is so kind, yes there is a line but the orders are perfect. The location is brand new and everything is so clean… did I mention the have the hottest girls working there! Literally the drive thru girls must be models on the side
Ps if you notice who gave the negative reviews it’s Unilocalers with less than 10 reviews each — aka complainers

Absolutely horrible McDonald’s. Who ever manages the place is failing. This place is filthy. Not a single table clean. Everything looks like a complete mess.
Is this Downey? Or Huntington Park? And I grew up in HP. Been here for 30 minutes… haven’t seen 1 single employee clean or sweep.
This is not a family friendly environment.

I can’t believe they went to the trouble of tearing this location down and completely rebuilding, only to be plagued with the exact same problems as before. They are ALWAYS out of something. Coffee, diet Coke, etc. If you are planning on ordering anything more complicated than ONE thing – forget about it being made correctly. They don’t understand relatively simple concepts such as, no pickles, extra sauce, etc. And heaven help you if they ask you to park in one of the «special spots». You’ll be there forever, and when they do manage to bring you out whatever they couldn’t give you at the window, it’s more likely than not that it will still be wrong. Save yourself the frustration and go down the street to In-​N-​Out. The line is usually long but it moves quickly and the employees pay attention to what you’re ordering.

I think its very unprofessional and ghetto when a manager yells at an employee in front of everyone at the restaurant. The restaurant was semi full when a man came inside from the drive thru complaining about his order. Its a fast food joint thats bound to happen but when the man left, the manager in charge named Julio yelled at an employee in front of everyone and loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. Someone a few tables from me yelled at the manager to give the kid a break and I agreed. The manager publicly yelling at the employee ruined my meal. I dont want to come in to a restaurant where i see the employees being treated poorly. Thats going to make me feel guilty for going there and wont let me enjoy my meal. Maybe a certain manager (s) needs to take a course on proper managing ettiquite and perhaps some anger management, ruined my meal!

Horrible service and they always mess up our orders. Today they had us waiting over 30 minutes on an order for only two people. No offer of compensation or anything, and the kid took our receipt and then asked us TWICE why we didn’t have it! We have had bad experiences with this location in the past, but now we are sure to never come back.

Wow talk about losing it. When I first started going here I was impressed and boy did that go away in a hurry.
They have already gotten lazy and slow but the most disturbing thing is the manager, what an idiot. During 2 recent visits there was some woman in the restaurant with a filthy dog. Not like a seeing eye dog or some kind of helper dog just a filthy mutt. She was feeding it at the table and it was just ok with the moron of a manager. The thing is that when this woman leaves with her dog its not like they run over and clean the table, the filth is left behind and some unknowing person comes along and is eating their food at the same place the dog did. I do not for one second blame the woman, she is going to do whatever she can get away with. I fully blame McDonalds and their stupid lazy moronic managers for this.
As I was leaving a young woman with 2 little kids started to sit at the same table, when I let her know what was up and pointed out the puddle of drool from the dog she left the restaurant and vowed to not return. I am not trying to run off customers I am trying to get McDonalds to pull their heads out of their asses.
I think I am giving up on all McDonalds, it seems like everyone I go to is just messed up in one way or another, its just not worth the aggravation anymore.

Messed up my order 4 times. Never offered a refund or anything extra. Horrible service. Mcdonalds is a joke.

If I could give this location NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. Be prepared to wait in the drive thru atleast 20 minutes EVEN if your the only car. I’ve waited 35 minutes!!! Couldn’t do anything about it since I had cars in front and in back of me. They are ALWAYS SHORT STAFF, and the staff they do have are SUPER untrained and unprepared. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Double check your order before driving away cause 99.9% of the time it’s WRONG. Disappointment

Plain and simple review.
Horrible.
Ridiculous long waits.
They’re always out of something (this time large coffee cups).
Oh and they don’t serve lunch at 10:30am like every other McDonalds.
All this after waiting 18 minutes in the drive thru lane.

Prety clean and modern interior. Lock on bathroom stall didn’t lock. Everything is pristinely clean. Music playing is annoyingly loud for this early in the morning.

Well they remodeled this McDonald’s. But still crappy customer service.
Got here at 11:17 it is now 11:45 and still waiting in one of the spots reserved for drive thru waiting. Ridiculous!!!
They really need to hire more people or get their shit together.
Go to the one on slauson in pico Rivera they are faster and more friendly

The new drive thru is the worst drive thru I’ve ever been to at a McDonald’s. I waited in the 2^nd line and no one took my order, but 3 cars on the other side went ahead of me. I finally gave up after 10 min and just went to the window. This is the 2^nd time I’ve seen this happen, and it seems like no matter what time of day I go there the drive thru is always slow. Definitely do not go there if you have somewhere to be!

For being a remodeled and fresh mc d’s this place is very dirty! The ice cream machine behind the service counter was very messy. Open and toppings were spilt all over. Our hamburger wrappers were very grease, like someone hadn’t washed their hands or changed gloves all day. So disappointing.
Get someone in here to take control. Staff need a pick me up here. Look like zombies…

We were searching for a McDonald’s right off of 5 since bad fast food is a road trip must. I was surprised and initially shocked at the low star ratings, how bad can it be? Either this place is brand new or was recently remodeled. From the registers to the tables and floors… this place is CLEAN. The service was very friendly and the ease of access to highway 5 is a piece of cardboard wrapped apple pie.

Always horrible service only come here for the food but even then they mess it up repeat myself for a reason and so do you but yet it’s always wrong I’ve delt with managers there and they are nothing but rude as well with a snotty attitude only giving it a 1 star cuz 0 isn’t an option

Why this place has low reviews is unknown to me. This mc Donalds recently got remodeled and the place looks fantastic. The service is always good and the staff is very nice. The drive-​through is a lot better than it used to be before the remodel.

I miss the old McDonald’s !!!
The service is terrible, yes I understand there are gonna be new employees when they first open a new store but it looks like everyone is new!
In the morning for breakfast I wait like 5 minutes in the waiting area for a hash brown. And last time I waited in line just for them to let me know they were only accepting cash.
For dine in, trash cans are always over filled, tables are always dirty.
* and I don’t don’t know if it’s just me but the bread they’ve been serving has been tasting stale.
Am I expecting too much from a McDonald’s?

The new Re model Mc Ds sucks now The dining area is to small not enough tables The service was very bad took for ever to get my food. Very dirty as well. The parking lot not enough parking spaces not even a handicap space
