Roys Pools

I’m using Roys Pools for monthly service and recently a full remodel (for my rental house). I love that he answers his phone day or night, my renters have had special requests on a few occasions and Jim has taken care of them quickly & professionally. I’ve dealt with many pool services over the years and I’ve usually had issues with them, Roys Pools has been great, and his rates are very competitive and I would definitely recommend him.

This is THE WORST SERVICE I have ever received! Jim, the owner of Roy’s Pools will have you thinking he is the kindest person with a vast knowledge of pools, when in reality he and his company are unprofessional and untrustworthy! Roy’s Pools will never make time for your home, and will always have excuses for doing things late, or never at all. Jim originally promised that a worst-​case scenario time frame would be approximately 2 weeks. Well, guess what? It took him 4 times that amount of time! His bigger commercial jobs take priority. He brings his daughter and his 2-​year-​old grandson during heavy duty construction. We had to ask him to leave our home when he first brought his grandson. I mean, talk about liability! Ridiculous! Jim will not move at all unless you speak very sternly to him, and even that did not work for us at the end! His company left our pool with a leak! The stain job was unattractive. He and his crew left trash all over the back area of my home. After 6 months of begging Jim to do his job and make the repairs for the leak, he stopped taking my phone calls; completely ignored all forms of communication! I am now suing him. Please do not make the same mistake as we did. DO NOT go with Roy’s Pools! You have been warned! If I could give him a negative score on this review, I would.
