The Blue Angus serves up a menu of mostly standard American faire, but the execution is on point. I highly recommend the Buffalo chicken tenders, BBQ ribs, and baked haddock. A very large bar with plenty of seating around is available for the party crowd. Definitely a great place to go with family or friends for a casual lunch or dinner.

Refused to honor my gift certificate though it was clearly stated that it did not expire.

Awful, just left there so disappointed. Haddock wasn’t fresh it was frozen, fries were warm not hot and the worst part is when we looked at the silverware it wasn’t even clean. Do not waste your time or hard earned money!

Not that awesome of food. Expensive for the tastiness of the food. Might be a good place to go and drink at the bar and watch games but otherwise I will likely not be back and don’t recommend it.

PRO– My elderly parents live nearby, so we go for lunch sometimes. Stick to the basics for food & you’ll be ok. The tasty clam chowder & good burgers/sandwiches are our usual lunch fare here. Mom loves the clam roll & the french dip. Their fries are really good, both regular & sweet potato. Service is fine, they refill your drinks pretty quickly. I like the New England & Dracut High sports memorabilia on the walls. On Friday nites, you can’t get into the parking lot. I think everyone who ever went to Dracut High stops in for a cold one, it’s like a high school reunion. Guess this could be either a Pro OR Con… CON– Pricey. SO– Good for a basic lunch & to see people you haven’t seen since high school. Just don’t order too much or your wallet will complain.

I was in this restaurant yesterday and I was very saddened by the way a injured army service man was treated. The service man was there for lunch with his children and he had his service dog with him. He had appropriate service cards for the dog and he was not only questioned but to me disrespected in front of other patrons by the way the staff questioned him about the service dog. The service man respectfully explained it was one of our federal laws and he was finally allowed to bring the service dog with him. How terrible that a business would treat a service person like that. The least the business could have done was comp the families meal, THEY did not. Terrible. Would never recommend on the fact that they do not respect the people that give us freedom.

Did not even bother eating as every time I come and sit at the bar getting service from the aging bar staff is impossible. I would have stayed and ate if they could smile.

Fantastic steak tips and they were perfectly cooked. Chicken 8⁄10. Brocolli 8⁄10 — WTH $ 3 extra for this veggie? Not worth the extra money. Mashed was boring — skip it. Fried ravioli — standard, but good −8.5÷10. Service was friendly and on-time. Good selection of specials and half priced apps sun/mon in the bar area. If you haven’t been here then you should try it.

The slimiest turkey Ive ever been served. Then to top it off I watched the server deliver the wrong food to a table and once she realized she grabbed the plate and brought it to the right table… Im sorry but I find that to be unsanitary. If your looking for canned whip cream and frozen strawberries order there strawberry shortcake.

Typically, I don’t leave poor restaurant reviews; I simply don’t eat at that particular restaurant again. However, I have to pass on to perspective diners my recent experience. I’m a huge fan small/local restaurants over chain restaurants but Blue Angus really needs to kick up its game. While the staff was very friendly, the service prompt and the restaurant clean/presentable, the food was terrible and overpriced. I ordered the Angry Angus burger, which cost close to $ 11 which I feel was pretty expensive considering fries had to be ordered separately at a cost of nearly $ 3.00. When my burger arrived, I was shocked — a tiny bit of sauce on the burger with a small piece of lettuce, a simple Wonder Bread bun and a sad-looking pickle(it looked like all the seeds had been squeezed off). Now, yes, you may be thinking«he just visited the restaurant on an off-day» but there were seven other people in my party and I looked around the table saw essentially the same quality of food served. As for the fries, several people in my party ordered them and the tiny portion was not worthy of the price. I looked at the pickles around the table and they were all in the same sad condition. Again, I’m a huge proponent of the small business owner over the chains but Blue Angus is in dire need of an upgrade and I recommend you go someplace else to eat.

I had visited twice in the past, one terrible experience and another time to grab a quick lunch which was just average. We just recently moved to the area and popped in for lunch… After today, I can now clearly remember saying«I will never come back here» the last time we visited. The food was decent. Although, you can not call a panini, a panini — unless it is just that. This was a chicken parm sandwhich on toast. Not a panini. Fix that. Burger was fine, over cooked, but fine. My friends wrap had no complaints. Now here IS my complaint — WHEREONGOD’S GREENEARTHDOYOUGETOFFCHARGING $ 2.99FORFRENCHFRIES. Or instead of fries, I can have a side salad… but wait — $ 6.49 for a SIDESALAD. Are you freaking HIGH? Do you know the size of the salad I could make at home for $ 6.49? Enough to serve everyone that was sitting inside your restaurant for lunch today, plus the staff. You are SO off base with your food costs, it is absurd. You are ripping people off. I have worked in the industry myself for YEARS, and my husband is still in the business himself… so yes, while you are probably making quite a bit off of my burger and fries, I bet your deficit is so low because your will not have repeat customers with prices like that. …so anyway, if you have never dined here before, and were thinking about it — just take note. Burgers and sandwiches do NOT include sides. Nothing here is cheap… unless you order water.

Drinks good service fast. The location is nice and so is the inside. Never too crowded on the inside and you can usually find space at or around the bar. Great place for date.

Love all the food there, I’m always trying out the new specials and have never been disappointed. Most recently tried the turkey dinner which was just like thanksgiving dinner maybe better since it was in February and then corned beef and cabbage for St Pattys both were amazing. I also highly recommend any of the burgers, always cooked perfectly and they have topping options for whatever type of mood you’re in. I love the homemade onion rings but can’t go in without getting sweet potato fries either so I usually order both! Great service and atmosphere, anyone I’ve ever brought in has loved it.

The food was«ok» but not worth the 60 minute wait after we ordered our food to get a burger! And not even an acknowledgment from our waitress that it was taking forever! When we asked her to check on our order, she said it would be another 4 – 5 minutes, but it was still another 15(the order ticket from the kitchen said 1:24 pm, we placed our order at 12:45, & finally received it @ 2:00) we think we forgot to put our order to the kitchen. Again, not even a «I am sorry your food took so long» 1 step away from walking out!

Yet another visit where we see a whole lot of bartenders with their backs to us and 40 minutes of sitting around waiting for food. Most of it was okay, except they overcooked my chicken, but hey, they don’t claim to be experts at that! We would have gotten drinks and spent more money there had we not been completely ignored by an angry looking bartender who was more interested in socializing with customers who didn’t need anything at the time than for us, who wanted to play keno and put in an order. I keep giving this place chances and it’s always terrible service and okay food that takes forever with a side of overpriced French fries. This was the last time and I can’t wait to tell everyone I know, because in these trying economic times, businesses can’t afford to be terrible and stay open.

Loved it here. We had a Groupon and am so glad we did. It motivated us to try something new a bit further from home. It is a comfortable atmosphere inside. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was defiantly not overly busy. We started with potato skins that were really good. My daughter had Chicken Parm. it was HUGE. She loved it and my husband who got home late had been talking about how good the left overs were now for a month. We shared a strawberry shortcake that looked nothing like what mom made(it was beautiful) but tasted just like it. Warm salty biscuit with sweet cold strawberries and whipped cream. Awesome! We are really looking forward to being a regular here.
