I typically enjoy the food here. Staff could be a little more attentive, although it’s decent enough to keep coming back. I like how common this place is because we always bump into someone we know here. Good atmosphere and lots of dining availability.

We had the breakfast here. It gets 5 stars as an informal breakfast place. We had a bacon & hollandaise omelet, poached eggs over sausage patties with sausage gravy and French toast with eggs. We also got a grilled coffee roll just to try it. Prices were reasonable, portions were generous, the seasoning on the home fries was really good and nothing was greasy. Everything was enjoyable. The only downside was that all of us were too full to have lunch later in the day. This is our new favorite local breakfast spot.

Went for breakfast on Columbus day. Not too impressed. We were basically the only ones there. My broccoli omelet was served with huge broccoli crowns. Stems and all!!! The home fries were also flavorless, little to no seasoning. If I go back it will just be toast or a bagel.

Very many good breakfast places to choose from in the Lowell/Dracut area but this is definitely at the top of my list. Every meal I have had here has been very good and the portion is always enormous. Try the everything omelet here, every meat and veggie. Awesome food and service!

I come here for breakfast with coworkers sometimes and it’s a nice townie sort of place. It definitely has it’s fans among the older generation in Dracut. The food is pretty good and the servers are always kind and courteous. If you want a quiet place to get some breakfast on a weekday or to go with friends pretty much any day of the week, this is a sure thing.

My husband, son and I went there this past Saturday for brunch. At 11am, the place was busy but not packed and we were seated immediately. Staff was super nice. The food was excellent– the eggs were not greasy at all! Home fries were crips and flavorful. My husband ordered French toast and I had pancakes– both were excellent! They have plenty of parking in the lot next to the restaurant. I def would go back again

Good food, good price, very generous portions, clean dining room, friendly waitress(we took forever to figure out what we wanted and she was very patient with us). The food came out quickly especially considering how busy they were. Also plenty of parking available in the back. Solid 4.5 stars as far as breakfast places go.

The place is huge and the food is pretty good. I hate the wobbly tables and the crappy chairs. The waitresses are just OK. I much prefer ML Shaws rather than here. They also can’t make up their mind with their hours. They change them all the time which has a poor customer perception.

Breakfast is really good here and you get large portions for great prices. The Belly Buster is enough food for two meals and a great deal! Been coming here for breakfast just over 5 years and the food has been great! Service is good and has that local feeling. If you haven’t been here yet, your missing out.

It’s usually busy here but they seem to move the people through quickly. The waitstaff is always friendly and efficient. Food is great with good portions.

Breakfast here is very good. Pancakes are exceptional, eggs and omelets are pretty good. Service is okay. Not sure about other meals(lunch and dinner).

Just ate here again to give the restaurant a chance to redeem themselves; Sadly they fell flat. This place needs help. Serving canned vegetables and mediocre food is unacceptable in my book. Not to mention the staff are forgetful. The price for what you actually get on your plate is nowhere near worth it. Portions are good size yes but that’s nothing to compare to the bland taste of a chief who truly does not know good food. It’s sad really. I wanted to like this place because it’s close and it’s been around for a while now but I just can’t see paying for something I could make ten times better in my own kitchen.

My experience at Bobola’s was HORRIBLE!!! You would think that fish served on a Friday would taste fresh but this WASN’T the case with their Fruit de Mari Special. The shrimp and scallops(if they were real scallops) tasted like they were microwaved because they were SODRY. The haddock was ok but the green beans are canned and the real mashed potatos were LUMPY&DRY; no wonder the waitress asked if I wanted gravy on them. The WORSTINSULT was being charged more for the Haddock Special than listed on the Specials chart, having the waitress argue with you over it then having her service new two customers before bothering to come back with the charge receipt WITHOUTTHECORRECTEDBILL. No tip left here… IFYOUENJOYRUDESTAFFANDSUBSTANDARDFOOD, THISISTHEPLACEFORYOU!!!

Bobola’s serves reasonable portions at a fair price. We’ve been to the restaurant a couple of times. This isn’t the type of place you would visit for a romantic dinner. It is a family restaurant. The folks eating at Bobola;s are looking for good quality food at a reasonable price. There seemed to be a lot of regulars on the times we ate there. I want to say that Bobola;s has the feel of an oversized diner. There are lots of dark booths. If you don’t want to sit in a booth, there is also a counter with stools where you can sit. My 12 year old tells me the restaurant smells like old people, whatever that means. The menu is full of no-nonsense, comfort food. Steak tips, meatloaf, ribs, Shepard;s pie, and a variety of pasta dishes and seafood. They also have a selection of home made desserts — pies, bread pudding. The prices are reasonable, as was the quality of the food on our visits. My wife tried the steak tips, and said they were really good. The kids had the meatloaf, which was three large slices, a side, and potato or fries. I had the ribs — I’ll add a picture. It was good — it would be better if the fries were hand cut. The service was reasonable, considering how busy the place was. The waitress was friendly, and answered all of our questions on the menu, and came back regularly to make sure we didn’t need anything.

I’m not sure if Bobola’s is under different management than the family restaurant that used to be here 12+ years ago, but it’s a great breakfast spot. Local, affordable, tasty!

This review is based on lunch. Bobola’s Family Restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily 7AM-9PM. The breakfast service is popular on the weekends. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. However, I was riding through the area around 1PM, so I stopped for lunch. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming with a spacious dining room and lounge in the next room. They have Mass Lottery scratch tickets and Keno. The luncheon menu offers a traditonal American menu including soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, fresh seafood, comfort dishes, children’s menu, and daily specials. Most prices are under $ 10, which is great on the wallet. They had already ran out of mashed potatoes, so it was either fries or rice with the meal. I started out with a cup of Fish Chowder($ 2.50), which was thick and very creamy with a good proportion of fish, potatoes, and broth. For lunch, the Yankee Pot Roast($ 6.99) had thick slices of beef which were very tender but a bit dry. The light brown gravy covering the beef was thick. I’m used to having a juicy pot roast with carrots and potatoes. The accompaniments I chose were rice and cole slaw. The rice was a decent starch and the cole slaw sweet and creamy. There was enough food on the plate, so I got the rest to go. Overall, I had a decent lunch with quick friendly service, under $ 10 before tip. For now, 3.33 stars for the lunch. A breakfast visit to follow in the future.

The baked haddock is out of this world!!! It is better fish than at the beach! Service is fantastic. I go with my kids & they always make a mess, but the staff is so great about it!
