Ate here Sunday morning. Very cozy but also very cramped for how busy it gets. Servers occasionally bumping into people just walking around, but you can’t blame them and they are extremely nice. Food is great-no complaints at all. I got the waffle with whipped cream and strawberries. Good size and decent price. My lady friend got the veggie omelette and was very pleased. Coffee is good and nice and fresh, though you will have to wait for a refill if it’s busy. All in all a great experience and would definitely go back. Very conveniently placed.

This place has gone down hill since the new owners took over. Such a shame this was a nice place.

Very friendly and attentive. Food is always good and leave feeling satisfied. The veggie omelette and waffles are excellent and also love the hot chocolate. Can’t beat the price of this little but cozy diner. Thanks again for being consistent and never disappointing.

.My favorite thing about places that have ‘diner’ in the name is that you can watch the short-order cook from a stool at the counter. Not here; everything is prepared in the kitchen. Anyway two locals were holding court from the stools at opposite ends of the counter. The ‘family’ theme for this place is echoed by the photographs of celebrity familes on the walls. I saw the Bradys, not sure the Osbournes were there. Had a Western omelet, home fries, toast. The omelet was carefully prepared, in a pan rather than on the grill. Both the omelet and home fries has strange taste in the grease that reminded me of that stuff they put on popcorn in the movies. The filling, etc was fine, but the weird grease taste was a little off-putting. The toast was the usual thin supermarket bread. Coffee was OK. Service was friendly and efficient. If they sort out the grease weirdness it would be 3 stars

Fantastic people and great food. My son is a regular there and he is treated like gold. I’ve never eaten a bad or greasy thing for breakfast. The pancakes are huge and the breakfast tacos are to die for. Great coffee as well.

This is a great little place that has come under new ownership in 2010. The new owners have given the place a fresh coat of paint and have improved it a lot. Let’s face it, this place isn’t going to blow your culinary mind, but the food is fine and better than many of the other local places. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We came here on a recommendation from a diner at another establishment. Even so, my expectations were low as we pulled up to the strip mall where the DFD is located. There was plenty of seating and it was not very busy at 9:30 am on a Saturday. It was a clean. The pictures of TV families on the wall made me smile. I barely noticed the TV playing morning news in the corner. I got an omelet. My omelet was excellent. it was cooked well and just the right size. The home fries were much better than most places. My wife had the hash pile. My wife’s eyes widened when the personable waitress, Martha, asked if she wanted her poached egg atop the hash pile. More than once my wife stated«these eggs are perfect.,» but she thought the hash tasted like it was from a can. Overall she enjoyed the meal. The orange juice was bad, but I have high standards in regards to OJ. The coffee was better than decent and it was constantly being refilled by the friendly service. We will certainly return for a further exploration of their menu.

What can I say? Great place, Took the little bro out here for his birthday, we were greeted with a smile as we walked inside. The quaint lil diner was already bustling with customers when we got there. We sat down and ordered orange juice and water for our drinks, my brother ordered the eggs benedict with homefries and I went for the Country Breakfast(Eggs, Sausage, gravy, biscuits) with home fries. Service was very quick, food came out in less than 10 mins piping hot off the griddle. Very tasty! Our waitress was very friendly and service was hot and quick, not to mention tasty, my only problem was that we were only checked on once and were never offered refills, due it the diner being crowded it was quite understandable though. 2 plates of food + drinks came out to $ 16, I love it! Good food, fast service, cheap prices, What more can you ask for?

After church, I headed over to the Dracut Family Diner located in the RK Park Plaza(Tennis Plaza) for a much needed breakfast. This diner serves up homecooked food for breakfast and lunch in an old school atmosphere with formica booth seating, table seating and soft stools at the lunch counter. There’s a small TV behind the counter. They offer typical breakfast fare including eggs, omelets, breakfast burritos, pancakes, French toast, cereals, homefries, Cote’s beans, and other sides. A $ 4 breakfast special including coffee is offered on weekdays. For lunch, they offer sandwiches, burgers, sides, and plate specials. The prices are under $ 10. I was offered coffee($ 1.60) as soon as I sat down, The coffee was great, nice and strong which is what I enjoy after attending a long church service. I decided on the Steak & Cheese Omelet($ 7.25) with homefries and wheat toast. The omelet was good, which had real steak cubes(not the ground steak’ums) and lots of cheese. The homefries were fresh cut and deep fried. Throughout breakfast, I was offered coffee refills numerous times by the server, not many places have this level of very attentive service. I was actually all good after two big cups. Overall, this place is not that fancy, but homecooked food was good and tasty. I would give a place like ths 3.25 stars, but since the service was very attentive(more coffee!) and quick, I’ll give this diner 4 stars. HOURS: Mon-Fri: 6AM-2PM; Sat-Sun: 6AM-1PM
