So good! Love their breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns. Everything is cooked to order and comes out hot and fresh. Great service and very family friendly.

Their milk is awesome!!! The food is very good, but a little overpriced for what it is or this would be a 4 star review.

PRO — This place has been in town for at least 25 years with good reason. My kids love to go here for breakfast. The breakfast food is basic but is always good & comes out hot. The servers are excellent, some have been here a LONG time, they know their stuff. Coffee is just ok, but the chocolate milk is the best around & comes in a huge glass. It’s a real townie place, you see lots of families & middle aged peeps, like myself, eating with their elderly parents(mom still pays — yay mom!). If it’s a holiday or half day at Dracut High, there’s big tables full of high school kids eating. CON — Weekends, be prepared for a good long wait. The inside could use a SERIOUS facelift, the wallpaper border/colonial blue décor fad ended in like 1995. Some bright new paint, curtains & flooring would help alot. SO– If you & your family are looking for a good breakfast, you can’t go wrong here. Be aware it can be busy, alot of the time. AND If you live in Dracut, be warned — YOUALWAYS see someone you know, so slap on some makeup & fix your bedhead before you go(you’ll thank me for it later).

Typical looking diner with a cute little gift shop. Got in and out quickly. Adequate service. Got the Irish Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was nothing special and the hashbrowns that came on it looked like cat food. I’ve never eaten cat food but it may taste like that. Wasn’t impressed :/

Very nice. There is always a bit of a line on weekends, but totally worth the wait. Clean, friendly and though a bit on the slow side, the wait is compensated with flavor. Try the Cinnamon Roll French Toast!

We love it at ML Shaw’s! Best breakfast food around and we have never had a bad meal here. Try to get there early(before 10AM on the weekends) unless you don’t mind waiting in line for a seat!

We had such a nice experience this past Saturday as we celebrated my Father’s birthday with a family breakfast at ML Shaw’s. We reserved a table for 12, and as each of us entered the restaurant we were greeted with a smile and directed to our table. Justin was our server, and we all agreed that he could not have been more attentive, patient and pleasant. Every order was perfect and the food was delicious. He even helped us out by taking a few pictures of our group! We were all very happy that we had chosen ML Shaw’s for our family to gather for Dad’s birthday breakfast that morning. Thanks again Justin and ML Shaw’s Country Kitchen for being so wonderful! PS) One of the reviews on here stated that the home fries were more like tater tots(I almost didn’t get them because of that). I’ll have to disagree because they were cut up potatoes, brown and delicious and, gladly, nothing like tater tots!

I love is place. I go here most often for breakfast. Omelettes are great, Irish Eggs Benedict is amazing. The staff are friendly and it seats a lot of people. The line is always out the door on weekends.

Well my husband and I have returned to ML Shaws. Not once, but twice since our last bad experience and I am happy to say they are back to the way why we love going to ML Shaws for breakfast. Our breakfast was cooked to perfection, during both our visits back. ML Shaws was busy at the time we went, however we didn’t have to wait long for our seats and our meals were served to us at a reasonable time. My husband ordered the steak and cheese omelet with hash browns and I had ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine with diced home fries and a side of corned beef hash cooked crispy. Yum Yum. Happy to say we are returning on a regular bases.

One of the greatest breakfast places in the Merrimack Valley. Everything is amazing and no matter how busy it is, it never seems to be a long wait. Not sure why it has only 3 stars! I’ve never seen any sanitation issues and the wait staff has always been just fine.

My wife and I are devoted breakfast diner people. We tried ML Shaws for the first time today and were very pleased. The server was delightful and attentive, we wanted for nothing. The atmosphere was friendly and had a neighborhood feel. The breakfast was cooked exactly to order and the coffee flowed. My only complaint(a minor one) is that the home fries were closer to tater tots than home fries. We will certainly put ML Shaws on our weekend diner rotation.

All of the breakfast fare is great and the staff is attentive and friendly. Don’t leave before you try the grilled coffee roll. It’s big and delicious.

Place has seemed to be better with customer service so yes I have noticed an improvement and have been coming back. Ham and cheese omelette was excellent. Bathroom looks better but not completely repaired. Ketchup bottles are good and it’s an overall good value

Quick service. Always busy. Never a bad meal. Great food. Nice wait staff. Never went for lunch. Gift shop inside is nice. The waiting area and exit are the same which makes it a bit awkward.

Great food. We come here often. We even enjoy their take-out from time to time. My personal fav is the croissant breakfast sandwich. The only reason that I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they can be a bit slow, which leads to long lines on the weekend.

This place is a joke! Waitstaff is clueless and rude. They fail to acknowledge patrons as they come in or seat people once tabled open up. I wish u read reviews before we came here… And check out pics someone posted about how filthy this place is. Also, they apparently don’t like hear, as it was pretty cold on there too.

We came here on a Sunday morning recently, which I realize is a busy time for any breakfast stop. We didn’t have too long of a wait, maybe 15 minutes. What happened next was what baffled me most. We were seated by the hostess, and looked around to see most parties with nothing but drinks in front of them. I assumed they had finished eating, and so we sat, waiting patiently for our waiter/waitress. After about 10 minutes, I had to flag one down who told me she couldn’t help us but would get the waiter assigned to the table. Another 10 minutes passed before our waiter arrived and took our drink orders. We never saw him again. It wasn’t until we had been at our table for roughly 45 minutes we noticed all those parties who we thought had finished and were just enjoying their drinks before leaving were actually being served their meals. Two groups immediately had their plates sent back because they were cold, to which the waitress responded she would have them microwaved immediately. I’m not sure what caused us to continue to sit and view the madness unfolding, but we waited around another 10 – 15 minutes or so, mostly out of curiosity. Our coffees and OJ eventually arrived by a different waiter, which we sipped for a minute before getting up to leave. I would have offered to pay for the drinks had I been able to speak with anyone, but every employee I asked just told me to wait for the waiter assigned to the table. All in all, shame on us for waiting over an hour for no service, but curiosity got the best of us. I’d give this place zero stars if I could, and I have absolutely no plans to ever try it again.

Ahh, I love breakfast places. ML Shaws is no exception — great prices — waffles are amazing. Lots of space, friendly staff.

M.L. Shaws is probably the best local breakfast place in the Dracut and Lowell area. the quality, service and price is well worth the wait in line on Sundays. I’ve had their corned beef hash omelette’s, Village and Country breakfast, French Toast, and Pancakes, all wonderfully delicious, consistent in portion and quality. Their coffee is nice and hearty strong while their hot chocolate is always a hit with kids.

Great Food, Fantastic Service, Generous Portions and Fantastic Prices! My breakfast of Eggs Benedict with home fries and my friends GIANT meal of 2 huge pancakes, a plate of home fries and 4 pieces toast altogether came to just $ 20 and 33 cents! I’ve yet to try their lunch option since they’ve been so known for doing breakfast. I look forward to dropping by some time within the near future to try their lunch. 5 solid stars
