Very disappointed! Walked in and had to wait for my basic $ 3 coffee to be brewed. Decided to get a banana nut loaf. There was no price listed on it and when checking out realized it was $ 10 for the small loaf! Got home and it seemed old and tasted like paste! Not to mention the lack of cleanliness in the back that all customers can view!

What a wonderful bakery that was found unexpectedly. The food off the menu was really good and tasted fresh. The sweets are all delicious and even the sugar free stuff is nothing short of amazing. For those who can’t have regular desserts due to diabetes or allergies will find this place a dream come true. The best part was the service and the people who run it. We met the owner and his wife and both are very friendly people. I had to stay a little longer because me and my wife just could stop talking and laughing with the owner. So if you are looking for good sweets and fresh food, something to take to the mountains or just to hang out at the bakery, this is the place to go!

The sugar free pastries are not bad for sugar free but not good enough to keep me coming back! My friend and I ordered Philly Steak and cheese sandwiches which were made by a girl who just started(she told us so) and had clearly not been well trained if at all. She didn’t know the answers to our questions. She made them on a flat top that had not been cleaned for who knows how long because it was like biting into a sandwich full of black, crunchy, sand clumps! No joke! Every bite had copious amounts of black char. Horrible! The kids grilled cheese was topped with Russian or Thousand Island dressing and the kids wouldn’t touch them. The man there had to remake ALL of our sandwiches. The new steak sandwiches were much tastier but the first ones had understandably left a bad taste in our mouths. We eventually left for Bake 360!(Now that is a world class bakery!) Don’t waste your time at Sweet Nothings! These 5 star reviews must have been written by the owners best buddies!

When I walked in the bakery was a mess… Old crusts on the counter tops etc. The guy who helped me did not wash his hands even though he had just been doing the dishes, and then didn’t wash again after he took my money. He proceeded to make my sandwich with bare hands. I couldn’t eat it because I was too grossed out. Food quality may be good(but I will never go back to find out!)

I love that I can find gluten free for me and my husband and sugar free all in one bakery! The owner helped us and he was awesome. I got a gluten free cookie and brownie which were both amazing — not crumply and dry like most gluten free baked goods. I will definitely be returning.

This place has great, great food. I love their gluten free selection! The Fuzzy’s breakfast burrito is one of my favorites. I would recommend this place to everyone.

AREYOUFREAKINGKIDDINGME?! This lovely little bakery is over-the-top fantastic. If you are sugar-free or gluten-free, this place is your sweetest dream come true. We’re talking breads, brownies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, donuts(!!!), cookies, muffins, pies, and to top it all off… All-You-Can-Eat, Unlimited, Stuff-Yourself-to-the-Brim, Outlandishly Delicious French Toast! But sugar-free and gluten-free are just their specialty. They make all sorts of savory sugar-loaded goods as well. This isn’t some flash in the pan bakery that will leave you wishing you hadn’t wasted your time getting seduced by its colorful menu. This is the real, delicious deal. When you stop by, I recommend snatching up one of their peanut butter bars(was it just me, or did I catch the slightest hint of warm pumpkin flavor in the mix?), or one of their«how-is-this-possible» cupcakes. You’ll leave satisfied, and with a buzzing battle going on in your head about whether you should share this mouthwateringly-sweet sanctuary with everyone you love and care about or if you should just keep it to your greedy old self. I’m deciding to share it :) Perhaps it was the winter wonderland surrounding us, or the heart-shaped patterns left by shoppers driving in the snow, or the exceptionally kind staff member who offered to make a fresh gluten-free donut before me and my wife were finished with our delectable breakfast this morning… …Whatever the case, this special shop deserves at least as much sweetness as it’ll surely deliver you :)

We’ve been twice to Sweet Nothings now after trying a couple of sugar-free cupcakes we got from a friend. We tried their larger 110-calorie cupcakes on both visits. They obviously weren’t as rich as a «regular» cupcake, but for only 110-calories they were amazing. They were so good, I almost wonder if they’re really that low in calories. Only negative about this place is the restaurant area wasn’t as clean as I’d expect even when visiting just after opening. We haven’t ever stayed to eat in, but a dirty restaurant area makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is kept. We’ll definitely be back.

Although Sweet Nothings Bakery’s specialities are sugar-free and gluten-free offerings, there is something for everyone to be had here. My daughter and I came across this place while we were exploring our new neighborhood and decided to give it a try. The customer service is top-notch; I always enjoy chatting with Nirav when I stop in. Every customer is greeted with a smile and a very warm welcome! I’ve tried out several things on the menu: Fuzzy’s Breakfast Burrito(highly recommended; and best of all, it’s served any time of the day you’d like it!), California Turkey, Peanut Butter Bar, and the Haggerman’s sugar cookie. I haven’t been disappointed in anything I’ve tried here; the sugar cookie is definitely a repeat favorite. My husband has ordered the Turkey Pomodoro each time he has gone in, and there are even some great options for the kids. My daughter really liked the breakfast burrito(it does have some hot sauce on it, but Nirav was thoughtful and used less so she wouldn’t be bothered by it) and the kids’ grilled cheese sandwich. But if you as an adult are a fan of grilled cheese, there is always the Big Kid’s Grilled Cheese, which I’ll have to try at one of my future visits. The atmosphere inside of the bakery/café is welcoming and warm; there are comfy couches in the back corner if you plan to stay awhile, and an assortment of different styles of matching tables and chairs if you’re staying for a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also offer free wi-fi, so this would be a great place if you want to do some work while enjoying a delicious meal or treat.

I tried to order a custom pie on a really short notice — like, 24 hours notice — and found absolutely no place in Salt Lake City that would make either a custom pie, a pie on short notice, or a blueberry pie. City Cakes recommended calling Sweet Nothings and they were more than willing, excited even, to make a custom pie in less than 24 hours notice! I got to specify the filling, the STYLE of filling, the crust, even the top. It was ready on time and I have to say, this was the BEST blueberry pie, possibly the best pie in general, I have ever had. They specialize in sugar-free baking, but I got a sugared-up pie. So, so tasty. So, so awesome. Great service — just wish they were closer to Salt Lake! Thanks Sweet Nothings!

Try not to think of it as a specialty bakery. I mean, take away the fact that it’s a sugar-free bakery and just focus on the delicious stuff that’s in the case, and you’ll enjoy yourself. But if you are sugar-free, double the pleasure. This place is cute – not fairy-tale, over-the-top cute, but cute. I’m more interested in what’s in those glass cases, and that’s some good stuff. Bars, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, mini cupcakes. All that stuff screams out to me, and they are delicious treats.
