I don’t like to give a bad review PERIOD but when you walk away from paid services feeling completely disappointed and disregarded, please allow me to share my unforgetable experience… I went to see Megan for a quick trim because I wasn’t able to get in to my regular stylist before the weekend. Megan completely cut a noticeably chunk of my hair (on one side) from my already short hairstyle and once she was done, I pointed it out; so she then repeatedly tries to «even» it out, but it wasn’t looking good at all! I just wanted to cry! She clearly saw that I was upset yet she never apologized for the mishap… and requested her fee in full! Smh

Hallelujah, I think I’ve found the one.
I have thick, Asian coarse hair which can be hard to cut. I’ve been going to stylists who cut well, but can never get exactly what I want… until now. I found Megan by chance, searching the internet for Dublin area stylists with good reviews, and her name came up. Based on other reviews and testimonials I took a leap of faith and made an appt on the (very easy) salon loft website.
Megan was super nice, taking time on my hair and taking the time to answer my questions and concerns. I respect and appreciate a stylist who will be honest and tell me what my hair can and cannot do, rather than just cutting into it and hoping for the best.
I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. I’m so glad I took a chance and got an awesome haircut!

I walk out of the salon like I’m on the catwalk. Know why? Because I just got a fabulous haircut. Look out, boys.
Megan Woods, my stylist, rocks the heck out of those scissors. I have very wavy hair, which does not phase her. After a thorough deep treatment, cut, and style, I look like a different Jessica. Honestly, I think my hair resembles models’ hair you see on Vidal Sassoon commercials. Inevitably, my coworkers and friends compliment the new cut and style the following day. Love it.
I also had highlights a couple months ago. She picked out the perfect blonde highlight – recognizable, but not too subtle nor garish. Four months later, the highlights are holding up, still dainty, still classy.
Megan is a sweetheart who deserves nothing less than a 25 percent tip. I travel 35 minutes for my scheduled haircut, and don’t see anything wrong with that.
