This park is located in a really nice, newly developed community. There is an extra large grassy area(dead right now because of the drought), two playgrounds for different age groups, basketball court and a tennis court. There are really nice picnic areas with large shade structure and clean bathrooms. The park is well taken care of and the neighborhood seems pretty safe :) The park is surrounded by a large sidewalk that isn’t on street level so it’s safe for kids to ride bikes, etc. Also, it’s normally quite windy up here, which makes this park great for kite flying!

I love taking my kids to this park. It’s got lots of space to ride scooters and isn’t crowded since the surrounding area isn’t very developed yet. There’s also a good place for picnics and fun playground to climb on. As more houses continue to get built around it I’m sure it will become much more popular and crowded but in the mean time, check it out. It’s great.

We go to this playground 3 – 4 times a week. My daughter loves it. They have two different play set, one for big kids and another for toddlers, swing sets, big grass area, tennis court and basketfield. It’s also great for running too, their side walk goes all around the park(maybe half mile, not sure). Bathrooms are clean, covered picnic area :) My husband just discovered that they have a Horse Shoe Pit, it’s acroos their street, on the right side.

I love taking my kids up here, it tends to be a little cooler on «Hot» days. Big running space, perfect site for kites, basketball, tennis courts… However, When it is on the colder side, be prepared to put on your wind jacket, as there is a wind tunnel, from the Castro Valley side… It has room for maybe a community pool one day… HINT* HINT* HINT* I like it, it feels like it’s still a hidden Gem. The views are so calming for this mama of three.

Schaefer Ranch Park is Dublin’s newest park, opening in late 2013. Now that summer is in full swing, families can now maximize their experience at the park.
