Come for drinks and the sunset– both are amazing. Food is good, not great. Friend liked her crispy wahoo tacos — particularly the slaw. I had the fajita steak tacos — they were fine, but not memorable. We did like the chips and queso. White sangria was good — not too sweet. The waitress was GREAT– casual friendly and happy to bring a sample of the sangria when I wanted to test its sweetness.

I came here once in 2012 and again last week while staying in Corolla. This place has SO much going for it – LOCATION, awesome laid-back vibe, LOCATION… unfortunately the food AND the service leave much to be desired. The chips and salsa are mediocre. The drink I had was FABULOUS, but I also only like drinks where you can’t even detect the alcohol, so normal people might not agree. The queso was decent… but my burrito was a disaster. Once I tasted it, I remembered why I left unsatisfied in 2012. This place can not cook tex-mex. Sorry. This is some white people concocting various dishes that look like tex-mex but taste like I tried to make something myself at home in the microwave and failed. My chicken burrito was legit gross – it was ENORMOUS, but the chicken was like, pre-cooked, pre-seasoned, weird tasting garbage. I asked for extra cheese and the burrito was exploding with cold shredded cheese – almost none of it was melted even a LITTLE bit. I was so hungry that I broke open the burrito and tried to pick through the gross parts and just eat the rice and beans. To be totally fair, my boyfriend liked his fish tacos – so maybe fish tacos is what they do right and you shouldn’t order anything else. We decided to stop in here because we were already at the shops and thought it would be a quick, low key bite to eat. It took them FOREVER to even bring us chips and ask our drink orders, and by the time they came to ask our orders I was almost full from finishing our chips and considering just skipping a «main course.» They weren’t busy at all so I really don’t understand why it was such slow service. I usually like to try a place at least twice before saying it bombs. I won’t be coming back here!

We came here with my brother’s family for lunch on a Saturday. The place was pretty busy. We managed to get a table in about 10 minutes. The food was good and the service was acceptable. Be aware that the seating options are rather limited. Just a handful of picnic tables can seat parties of more than 2 or 3. If you don’t mind sitting at the bar — great. But on a hot summer day, sitting out on a dock at a wooden picnic table with waiting customers eyeing your every move, I’d rather get the food to go or go elsewhere.

Margaritas are awful. Premixed artificial lime concoction for both frozen and on the rocks. Food so so but not great. We ordered salad with shrimp, chicken quesadillas and soft chicken tacos which were passable. Service was good and friendly. Wouldn’t go back.
