This store sale man Brian is the worst. My husband and I applied for a HHGREGG card got approve with a fake amount that the sale person told us and than he took it upon his self and request for a credit increase without out our approval in other word running our credit twice in 1 day. I was so hot after finding this out a week later. I told this dude I didn’t want my credit ran twice, His slick ### did it anyway. We was told at first I was approve for 3,000 and husband was approve for 1,695 this was the start of the lies and slicken he was playing. We didn’t know we wasn’t approve for this amount until we was checking out. This is when it went from 3,000 to 2,000 and my husband went from 1,695 to 1,500. How can make a open mistake like that. He was ONLY trying to make a big commission. Brain enjoy that little commission now because you will never make another sale off us. I wish I could give a ½ star this 1 star is to much. FYI to the management team Brian need retraining on how to talk to customers he was using really nasty words. NEVERNEVERAGAIN…

I was really torn on the rating, on one hand we waited 25 minutes before i had to go and hunt someone down to help us, and on the other hand, once we got Sterling, he was wonderful. So i guess i give him 4 starts and the store 3 stars? My friend needed to buy a new washer and dryer and I convinced her that the scratch and dent store was the best to go to. atleast see what was there… we ended up being able to buy a brand new one off the floor for almost the same as a set that was a little beat up. but like I mentioned, Sterling was super helpful and funny. He listened to what my friend was looking for and made sure she was happy with her selection. I recommend this store to everyone…

It’s so amazing how blundered this store is. After out 13 year old dishwasher started smoking and almost caught the house on fire, we decided to shop around for the best deal. We went to the Sears scratch and dent store and they didn’t have a wide selection. So we drove to HH Gregg. The guy who«helped» us didn’t tell us, but he was a recent hire with little training to back him up. We told him we would like to be shown dishwashers with a list of specific features and within a specific price range. He said, «Ok, well feel free to look around and let me know if I can help.» I said, «well, we’d like YOU to show us around and show us what you have available.» He reluctantly showed us a few washers. The man couldn’t smile to save his life. He must have hated his job. He finally showed us the one we liked, and I told him that if we could get the price and delivery to where it needed to be, we would buy right now. Long story short, we bought the washer from him and they happily told us(this was a Saturday) that the washer could be delivered and installed on Sunday, tomorrow. We were very happy to hear this. What we didn’t realize is that this guy had no idea how to use their computer system and even though one of the more tenured sales guys appeared to be assisting him, he blundered the whole delivery. They said the installation team would be calling us tomorrow around 6am tomorrow to let us know what time window they would arrive at our house. They did, indeed call, and said, «hi, we are coming to install your dishwasher which you’ve got onsite.» We had to explain that we BOUGHT the washer from them and that they are supposed to be bringing the new washer with them and install it today. We were referred to many different people as the install team passed the buck. When the store opened that day, I called and the manager promised to have it delivered on Tuesday. So we waited. Our dishes stacked up to the ceiling, waited for the new dishwasher. Monday morning, I was still in bed as the doorbell rang(no prior call was received) and there was a nice guy who was driving an HH Gregg truck, telling me «hi, I’m here to install your dishwasher. Where is it?» I explained all of what transpired before. He made a call to his boss who had nothing to say, as we were an anonymous number to them all so, he didn’t spend any time trying to help. The nice delivery/install guy said he would«get to the bottom of this.» We never heard from him again. When the store opened, the manager apologized again and said that on Tuesday they will be there to install and deliver the dishwasher. It finally happened and the delivery guys were very nice, although they dialed a customer feedback line without asking me if I was ready to give a survey and then just handed the phone to me, begging me to choose the number 5 when prompted because it reflects their quality of work. I gave them all 5’s but was pretty unhappy that the guy just hands me the phone at 7am when I’ve got a bunch of things happening. Maybe if he had asked me if it was ok, it would have been easier. It’s been several days and we still haven’t received the refund of $ 199.00 which we were promised from the store manager for all of our troubles. He said that he would be calling us Wednesday to get our credit card number again to do the credit. No one called. I called today and he isn’t there. What a surprise. But the worst thing out of all of this is that each person I spoke with, including managers, would simply laugh out loud when I would tell them how annoyed we were with every step of this process. They laughed, and one time, I said, «is there something funny about this?» The man didn’t know how to react. HH Gregg? NEVER again. Our first time and our last time. Life is too short to shop where they aren’t willing to earn your money through quality products AND quality customer service.

Horrible experience here. We were promised a 110 percent price match guarantee on an LEDTV(Samsung 55 inch LED). However they made us wait almost an hour before ringing up the purchase. When the credit line was approved and purchase was completed, they failed to mention that we were not getting the 110 price match guarantee. They then said that we were never promised the price match, even though it clearly states it in their newspaper advertisement. Also, their advertised prices are ridiculously overpriced compared to their competitors. They do negotiate with you, but they drive a hard bargain. Ended up going to Fry’s to get the TV for the same price as HH Gregg, but it’s all about the principle.
