Everything was excellent! Whenever I visit my friend in Gwinnett County, for some reason we always have a craving for breakfast food and we usually hit The Flying Biscuit. However, this particular day he wanted to try something new. I(of course) used my Unilocal app to search breakfast restaurants in the area with high ratings and J. Christopher’s was the 3rd to pop up. The parking lot was extremely crowded when we pulled up. My friend is the type of person who hates waiting, so he almost left. I told him that means the food must be pretty good, so let’s just check it out. We were not disappointed. We were immediately greeted and seated within 5 minutes of walking in the door. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was excellent, hardly any wait time, and the place was very clean… this just might be our new breakfast spot!

Love this place. We’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s another one of those classy places that rises above in their level of staff attentiveness. Right now, they are only getting a 3 star rating because I’m a little unsure of the direction that their menu was set to take from the last time that we popped in, around December. I believe the company was going through some internal changes that were starting to affect the taste and style of the place… but that is still yet to be determined whether or not I would still endlessly rave about the food. I would bet that they are still great though, and would highly suggest a visit.

I hate to say that I was disappointed in this location of Christophers. I am a huge fan of J Christophers and I go to some of their other locations really frequently. I am restricted to a lower carb diet and therefore have to be very conscientious about how I order food at restaurants. I asked for a side of sliced cucumbers which I have gotten that various other locations before(in lieu of fruit or potatoes). Apparently, this location does not have cucumbers for any other dishes. So, they were not able to accommodate this request. All ended acceptably, and I just ordered sautéed spinach instead, but I would really preferred something cold and sliced rather than a hot side. The server was very friendly about the whole situation and did everything that she could including asking the kitchen more than one time if there was another alternative for me.

We stop by this location maybe 2 — 3 times a year, when we have a free weekend morning and want to get out for breakfast for a change. The food quality is consistently pretty good. I especially like their blueberry crunch(pan)cakes. They have a variety of breakfast specials. Their coffee is usually above average, but is somewhat variable(at least one time each I recall it being exceptionally good or noticeably bad). We’ve occasionally tried other comparable mini-chains but J. Christopher’s is still the default in this category.

Holy moly … on a busy Sunday brunch day this location can reach ear splitting noise levels. Its the typical«one table talks loud, then the next table talks louder, then the next … and so on and so on and so on…» Damn. The food can be pretty good and you will find some creative dishes on the menu. Its somewhat hit or miss depending on the day or time or chef. They really need a new toaster because the english muffins … and toast in general … really look anemic. I have been visiting this locations on and off(more«off») for over five years but just can’t give it an really enthusiastic vote, though I want to.

Love their skillets and sausage and gravy biscuits. Nice place to go with kids. It always seems very bright and airy. Nice ways to start a lazy weekend.

Went here for breakfast and I love it. I am picky about quality breakfast places but this one hit the spot. I get plenty of food for a decent price and its all so delicious! You can tell that the food is made with quality ingredients and this is a great place to bring family or a date or even just friends. Make sure to come early on weekend mornings or else you may have to wait in line for a little. The staff is helpful and the location is convenient! Definitely a must go if you love breakfast foods

This place is ok, not terrible fantastic but sufficient. I ordered the ham & mushroom skillet, It was potato skillet with a sprinkling of ham & mushroom. Too heavy for me. The coffee kept coming, great service.

Ok. I really hate writing bad reviews. But its a necessary part of it I guess. So the good first. Coffee and latte are both awesome. And thats the end of the good list. The cajun breakfast was aweful and way way way over cooked. The route 66 meal was dry and sunny side up eggs were fried extra hard. And the wait staff. While friendly they are uneducated as to how to serve a table with infant’s. Never never never hold or serve hot coffee or plates over a baby. I had to get onto one waiter for this and the rest did not make that mistake at our table again. Also the noise level is crazy loud. Id really be Interested in what a decibel meter would show here. Yeah I dont think we will be back. Good luck if you like it here.

This J Christopher’s has the same Coke problem as all the others in the area, weak and watery. Wth? Our server today, Bryson, did a super job.. Food was great, as always. J Christopher’s is wonderfully consistent. Temp inside was comfortable, no blanket needed. The reason for 3 stars? As I’m sitting at my table I look over to the hostess station and there stands the young hostess with her thumbs up her nose. Literally, both thumbs inside both nostrils. This is the person handling menus, I touched a menu that she touched. If she’s jamming thumbs into her nose in front of an entire restaurant then what is she doing in private?

Went for brunch on a saturday. The place was busy, lots of tables with groups and families. A really good vibe to start a lazy day. English muffin was all right. Eggs Benedict were surprisingly good. Chocolate pancakes were regular(could have more chic chips). Service was great, checking coffee and tea at the right moments.

My husband and I had breakfast here for the first time the other day, and it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good. We got the skillets and we were very underwhelmed when they arrived. It was very bland tasting and the potatoes were bought in, really? If I go to a breakfast place I want it to be innovative and taste better than what I can make. I ordered a 2.99 cinnamon roll and was expecting a cinnabon style one… again, very underwhelming. It was small, dry, barely any icing and hard. I would much rather cook my own breakfast or go to Cracker Barrel. Our server was friendly and prompt, and the coffee is really good. Those two things are the only good part about this place.

Very disappointed! We come here frequently but today Father’s Day we were told we could not choose the ingredients in our omelette ! You mean I can get my omelette they way I want at Waffle House but not here! It’s really that difficult to make a two cheese and avocado omelette Really? The food is good — not great. If your cooks can’t make a three ingredient omelette with ingredients that are on the menu there is some real training that needs to take place. Also who are the managers? I can’t tell because there is no person who seems to be obvious leadership? Everyone is dressed the same and no manager is checking on guests.

Pero le doy 5 estrellas a los huevos benedictinos, son sensacionales, el termino de los huevos es perfecto y la salsa holandesa esta en su punto, verdaderamente un plato delicioso, especial para un brunch dominical

The Pantry Feast was a good selection with two slices of thick Challah bread soaked in Maple and Vanilla batter, grilled golden brown and dusted with confectionery sugar partnered with 2 fresh eggs, 2 bacon strips and J’s oven-roasted potatoes. The maple toast was awesome but the potatoes were awful because they were precooked then reheated to order which made them hard and dry. This meal was moderately priced at $ 10.99. Need a Fix!!! Gotta earn it with their Brunch Club Card. Buy 6 Entrees, Get the 7th Free. What is great about this loyalty program is that you can get stamps for the other guest in your party if they do not want a card.

They were so pleasant. My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this place. We didn’t know it closed at 2:00 but they were nice enough to still seat us at 2:03. The food was excellent and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back.

This place has potential, It really does, but what could have been a GREAT experiences, really wasn’t. I went here today with my friend Lenetta at the beginning of a day of shopping. She told me that they served brunch, and this made me happy. So we arrived around 12:30 and sat quickly, no wait as there was no line at all. Our waiter seemed competent — this will play strongly in what happens later. When our order was taken, we had a few special requests: I ordered the Chicken Cobb salad with no red onion. My companion ordered the Triple Play with her eggs really runny and white toast. Every thing that we said, was written down(or so we thought.) When the meals were delivered, my «Chicken cobb salad» had no chicken, and my friends eggs were sunny side up, allright, but they were with solid yolks and the toast was non-existent, it was an English muffin. We told the waiter of the mistake, and he promptly took the food back to the kitchen. I’m not sure whether this was a miscommunication or whether this was just a waiter error, but it was –mostly– corrected. When the food was re-delivered, the chicken was on my salad, and the eggs were correct, but the english muffin was still there, she had to ask for the toast again. When it was brought out, it was nearly completely black. We didn’t say anything to the waiter about this, but you could tell that we were not happy. We ate our meal, and the food was good. I was happy that there were no onions in my salad, that the avocado was fresh and that there was a lot of huge bleu cheese crumbles in my salad, it sort of made up for the lack of tasty bacon. When the check was delivered, I paid by cash, handing over a $ 100 bill. The waiter quipped«Do you want change?» Yes. he didn’t earn a $ 74.00 tip. And here is where the story goes down hill: My total came out to $ 26.35, I gave him $ 100.00, He returned to me $ 73.00 My change should have been $ 73.65. As a previous waitstaff, If It’s less than $ 0.50, it’s not something to worry about, if it’s OVER $ 0.50 you round up and give the patron the next dollar up. Instead, the waiter gave me the lesser amount, effectively stealing $ 0.65 from me. While that amount isn’t a lot, if he took that amount from me, and from every other table, it ends up adding up. Also, it’s the principle of the thing. I debated on it and finally asked to see the manager. I wanted to let her know what was going on, how BOTH our meals were delivered incorrectly. She listened, and in the end, I let her know about the discrepancy in the change. She was not pleased about the situation and as a gesture of good faith, she took care of the bill — this is not what I expected, but I was pleased that it happened. She informed us that their waitstaff is not supposed to ask if «you want change», and that the particular waiter would be spoken to as soon as she had a moment to go one on one with him. She offered us a discount card for future visits as well, and let us know that anytime we were in the store to ask for her and she would insure that we were well taken care of. I appreciate that she made sure that the situation was taken care of, but the situation should never have happened in the first place. I would return again, if I could be sure that this kind of thing does not continue to happen.

I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this J Christopher’s yet, as I’ve been there several times now. Going is not yet a tradition, but it’s trending in that direction with my boyfriend and I on lazy Sunday mornings. Our most recent excursion had us arriving right as the church crowd was letting out, so there was the usual mash up of «I just got of church» and«I just got out of the gym(or at least look like I did)» waiting for tables in the lobby. No big deal, every time we’ve been there, even during peak times, it hasn’t taken long to seat us. Within 15 minutes we were browsing the menu with an idea already of what we wanted. I ordered some apple cinnamon tea, the Billy Goat omelet(Portabella mushrooms, spinach, roasted red peppers and goat cheese), my boyfriend got the coffee(though he always complains it’s not as good as Starbucks), the eggs Benedict and we split an order of French toast(this always gets ordered at J Christopher’s). I wasn’t wild about the tea(I’ve never been a big tea drinker, but wanted to try since it was a cool-ish day), but the omelette was excellent — very big and filling and stuffed with lots of goodies plus the gooey goat cheese melted on top was quite different than my usual omelettes. And after having sampled a few different restaurants’ French toast, I can say with certainty(at least at this point), that J Christopher’s has the superior version. It’s light, it’s fluffy, it’s thick cut and presented so artfully with powdered sugar, melted butter and real maple syrup on the side. Ta da! Mmm… good. It’s a nice treat to indulge in some weekends. I do enjoy J Christopher’s and everything I’ve had so far has been good. I’m sure we’ll continue to go on a semi-regular basis for the foreseeable future(I still need to introduce him to the Flying Biscuit one of these days though).

I had the turkey, avocado skillet. Which is basically cut up turkey sandwich meat, avocado, pico de gallo, your style of eggs and oven roasted potatoes. The meal came out piping hot, the potatoes were crisp and salted well. I modified my skillet with egg white scramble and it was delicious. The server was very nice and the service was quick which I liked.
