Residence Inn by Marriott

I stayed at this location for several months. Everybody went out of their way to make my stay over a Duluth winter as accomodating as possible. If you are a pet owner I highly recommend this location. On many days I could not get back there for my lunch break to walk my dog. Every time this was the case, the staff there took care of my dog for me and treated him as if he were their own.
I cannot say enough good things about this staff.

Gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, clean, and comfy if you have to stay a long time. I highly recommend THIS hotel. The only letdown was the food served for breakfast and the few times they offered dinner or evening snack. They are, however, located near lots of places to eat.

The room was kept clean, housekeeping honored our requests for extra towels and other supplies. Also, the gentlemen manning the front desk not only gave us friendly, prompt service, but they helped secure a meeting room (at no cost) for me to host an emergency family meeting (we were in the area due to a death in the family). Also, I liked the overall at home look and feel to this location with the fireplaces and little family nooks in the lobby/​common area. If I’m ever in the Duluth or Two Harbors area again, this location will get my repeat business!

Newer facility. Wacky front entrance that wasn’t very well thought out for travelers but otherwise lovely. New, comfortable accommodations. Very happy & will stay here again!

Enjoyed this location. The pool was amazing and this place was so clean! For a quick stay or a place to put family when the space runs out in your house. This is my hotel of choice!

My elderly parents stayed here for about 3 months while we were grappling with my mom’s medical issues. (She needed to be near the SMDC hospital since they live hours away in nowheres-​ville.) I can’t say enough about how well they were treated by the staff! Really, above and beyond. The rooms are clean and the facility is relatively new. My dad really appreciated the complimentary food they offer in the evenings. Again, the staff was incredibly accommodating with my folks, as they needed a little extra attention. They treated my parents like family. In the end, they made my parents so comfortable in tough times that we struggled to convince them to go home. No lie. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

We are frequent visitors and absolutely loved this location. The room was beautiful and the front desk staff was particularly helpful. Highly recommended.

I stay in Residence Inns multiple times a year all over the country and this is easily the nicest one I have ever visited. Very modern and comfortable rooms with rich, bright colors. Very clean and very friendly staff.
