I need a room for a night in July. I went to to the front desk to see if they had any vacancies. The clerk said yes but proceeded to give me the runaround. She would not properly put in my information and attempted to but me on the side my attending to other guest. I got tired of the ten minutes I wasted as she was deliberately messing up my info. I left the hotel for my car. As I was leaving she was hanging outside of the hotel talking to a customer. There I asked her why she didn’t give me a room. She proceeded to say that I was causing trouble. I left and got a room at a holiday Inn. I was very disappointed in my experience and filed a complaint. I wonder how much business she has ran from that hotel. It was the most disrespectful, demeaning experience I have ever had.

This is a decent hotel right off I-95 and close to a Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. Rooms are equipped with an empty mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and safe. We had reservations for a room with 2 queen beds but they screwed up and gave us a room with one king and we had to request a cot. They were understaffed and I had to go down to the front desk to pick it up. There’s a small indoor pool and hot tub. Next to it is a small workout room with a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, and universal machine. The room was fine to use because I was the only one in there, but would probably feel crowded with anyone else. For a quick stay, it will meet your needs if you’re looking for a clean, no frills hotel.

The hotel is nothing special, it’s nothing bad either. I would probably give it a 3.5 stars if possible. Needs a little work. Pros: — Free WiFi — Large clean bedrooms — Price is competitive with local hotels — Pretty nice pool and hot tub. Clean area — Fridge and microwave in room — Free breakfast Cons: — There’s only one elevator in this hotel and it is SLOW. Lots of guests commented on this. — Two different WiFi signals operate as «Comfort Inn.» I think one is for the pool area and the other is for rooms. They should have named it differently, as it tends to confuse the devices. — Weight room is a stairmaster, treadmill, and a single multi-purpose weight machine. The weight machine is seriously pretty crappy; it exists only to check a box«yes, we have a weight room.» Treadmill is nice, though. No cups to drink water in the weight room. — Towels in the pool area and weight room aren’t large enough. Borderline dish-towel. — Poor lighting within a room. — Bathroom in the room was missing a light bulb. — Breakfast wasn’t that good. I mean, even the muffins were not tasty. Who makes a bad muffin? #1 con: there is no easy way to plug in your phones on the night stand next to the beds. This is now my new review point for hotels: this is the 21st century, and everyone has their own device… there needs to be an easy way to charge these devices. I shouldn’t have to move the night stand and unplug a clock and wall lamp. Would I stay in this hotel again? Sure. I wouldn’t expect it to be perfect, but to stay here a night or two, you can certainly do worse.

I had an agreement with one of the clerks at the front desk. I was assured my arrangement was no issue at all. I trusted the clerk, and they did not honor the arrangement. I ended up losing a couple hundred dollars because of it.
