This is the first yulp review I’ve ever done, in hopes to save anyone from staying at this hotel. When we booked our room the first night we explained we wanted it for 2 nights, but the desk only charged us for one, and said just to let them know in the morning we wanted to stay another night and it wouldn’t be an issue. Virginia just had passed some new tax law and it was going to charge us 4 dollars more the next day and that’s why the guy didn’t charge us that night, and honestly over 4 dollars i didn’t care, until the next morning. When we went to leave and let them know we were keeping the room, a different lady told us we couldn’t stay in our room cause they were over booked. Which okay I get, but when we explained that we were told it wouldn’t be an issue, she told us the guy that worked at night didn’t know everything that was going on, and no apology for our inconvenience. After going rounds with her for 5 min she finally just said we can stay in a different room, why she didn’t just open with that is beyond me. Worst customer service ever. Luckily my family had another room at the hotel and we just moved our stuff in there, because the new room wasn’t ready. Again she was very rude about the whole situation… But that’s not all! At 4 am the next morning we had a stranger who was trying to get into our room, like they tried to give away the room we were booked in!!! I was woken up by the noise and had to deal with the fact the girl was told to stay in our room. She left I went back to bed. Here’s the part that really put the cherry on top. At 5:45 in the morning we get a call from the front desk to our room. Waking us up, once again, and it was the man from the first night who called up to our room to see who was staying in it… 545 am. I don’t know who runs this joint but you’ve got some employees who need to lose their jobs. So if getting kicked out of your room, being disrespected, sharing rooms with strangers, and getting calls from the front desk early in the morning is your thing, than you’ll love this crap hotel.

Worst hotel ever!!! I have a box truck and I parked in a parking spot that they told me to park last time, then one of their workers came out telling me not to park there. I asked him where I could park and he sent me to the side of the road with an attitude. So I parked there and I went to the front desk and the guy the asked me in an attitude if I did what the other guy told me to do. So for people with trailers or with big trucks, this is not the place for you!!!

Pros: Friendly staff Free breakfast Comfy beds and pillows Cons: HORRIBLE clicking noise a night that lasts about 2 hours, then starts back up again a few hours later. If you aren’t a heavy sleeper, then stay away. The WiFi is HORRIBLE. Worst internet I’ve ever experienced at a hotel/motel. It’s free, but it hardly works. It takes 15 minutes just to load . Also randomly kicks you off the internet at times. If you are planning on staying here for business, then avoid this place! You will struggle surfing the web. The TV has no A/V inputs, so you cant hook up your devices or gaming consoles unless you have a coax converter. Overall: This place has potential but that terrible clicking noise at 4AM combined with the terrible WiFi makes this place not worth the money.

Only stayed one night here even though I made a one week resevation. Too much noise from the people using the«emergency» exit door as it was the front entrance! I was gladly not charged anymore than the one night stay. The front desk folks were understanding of the situation.

Obviously no vacation resort, but very convenient for a quick night stay. Needed a place around here because I was going to hang out in Quantico for a day and everything within a 10 – 15 mile radius of Quantico are just 3 – 3.5 star motels. Everyone hanging out here has the same story as you. they are somehow affiliated with the marine base and just visiting. I liked the easy access to freeway. nearyby restaurants & gas stations including mickey D’s, cable TV, bagels/coffee in the morning, and safe security. The motel layout is not the typical 2-story building with doors facing out. Instead, it’s more like a dormitory where you have to go in the building, pass the front desk, and then walk down the indoor hall to your room. It just felt a little more secure and the walls were thick enough to mute the outside car noises.
