French Nest and its owner were delightful. When we drove up it looked closed, so I walked towards the door to see if there were hours posted. The owner was packing up her truck to leave, saw me walking up, and offered to open the store back up for us… what a darling! Inside is a French countryside & shabby chic dream, with upscale vintage/antique offerings. Place settings decorated with sparrows, ceramic roosters, candles, distressed furniture, painted picture frames, toile throw pillows, glittery faux florals, art prints, canvas wall art, jewelry… lots of gorgeous items everywhere you look. It made me think of the Portlandia«Put a Bird on It!» skit, in a good way. :D The only catch is the shop currently has no set days and hours of operation, but the owner told me she plans to have the shop open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you pass by French Nest when it’s open, it’s well worth seeing!
