Manfredi’s Depot has everything, including smiling friendly folks! As a traveler of I-5, I make this a stop EVERY time! They have everything you might need, including a deli with sandwiches that i can taste when I talk about them! Stop in on a friday and you can enjoy hometown BBQ tri tip cooked there on site by a local gentleman who has the secret to good tasting BBQ. Fishing is popular in the area bring a pole, grab a sandwich and head to the river which is just blocks away.

Stopped off to buy gas on my trip from Houston to Seattle. The mouth-watering smell of ribs, chicken and tri-tip was overwhelming. Stayed a little longer waiting for the meats to finish(it was early yet). Bought a rack of ribs, a pound of the tri tip and half a chicken to make meals along the route. OHMYGOODNESS! They were the most flavorful, tasty grilled meats outside of Texas. I will definitely make it a point to stop off if I am ever on this route again. Incredible!

Just made a pit stop through Dunsmuir, CA, needing gas and food… Stopped at Manfredi’s and picked up a sandwich… Now I’m at some rest area in B.F.E, Oregon and little did I know I’d be eating the Boss of all sandwiches! The Tri-tip on sourdough is ridiculous! I don’t care if you have to drive through two feet of snow, if you’re in the area, you gotta stop in and try this place!

I have been eating at Manfredi’s practically my whole life, and I never once had a bad experience. Easily the best sandwiches in Siskiyou County, and the service is always top-notch. Nothing beats grabbing a Manfredi’s sandwich to enjoy later on down on the river during the hot summer.

We make this a regular stop on our way from Eugene to Sac. It’s about half way. Crusty sour dough baquette sanny w provolone and then drug thru the garden(all veggies) for $ 7.99 and big enough to split is our fave. Good restrooms, nice people.

Everything is fine, service selection… EXCEPT! Hygienic considerations. The dude goes from the cash register to making my sandwich — didn’t see him wash his hands and of course no plastic gloves. do I eat it, or leave it out for a coyote or bear to enjoy? Maybe I should anonymously call them.

I love Manfredi’s though I don’t make it to that end of town much. Always friendly service. Discounts for locals and great sandwiches. Since the other place in town to buy deli sandwiches has lowered their standards I will be driving the extra couple of miles from now on! Wish I had thought of that today! Oh well, learned my lesson… Manfredi’s is tried and true!!!

As a trucker I eat at a lot of roads stops and roadside cafes. Whatever I’m running I 5 this is 1 of the few places that really stand out, it’s hard to find good homestyle food and this place hits the spot everytime. Awesome fresh baked bread for their sandwiches, and freshly sliced meat and cheese. Everyone here is so incredibly friendly and they seem to know many of their customers by name. It reminds me of a time that has long since passed. If you’re within 50 miles of this place you’ve got to stop in and try the barbecue is hands down the best I’ve had outside of the South.

I LOVE Manfredi’s deli! I’ve tried many of their sandwiches. Usually I get either salami, or turkey, with all of the fixings. Last time I went, I noticed that they added both smoked cheddar and smoked swiss… Mmm, this girl loves cheese choices! Always very friendly service, whether you’re stopping in for gas, or to grab lunch.

Friday’s at Manfredi’s feature a Tri-Tip BBQ and is very, very, good. If you are traveling through or you are a local, stop by this place and get a really good sandwich. Their prices are reasonable. The also have some special broccoli and imitation crab salads that are outstanding. Generally, their gas prices are the least expensive in town, but you really want to get a sandwich at the Deli if you are in the area.

I love the sandwiches they make here. My personal favorite is corned beef and swiss on sweet french. I would highly suggest trying one of these.

All summer I came here daily to get ridiculously cheap soda’s for my mom and her husband, and of course myself. The owner took the time to get to know my grandpa who was up visiting my mom in the area since grandma died. They had some good conversations, and grandpa still talks about some of the stuff he said. I think the man helped out more than he knows. Friendly service always, if maybe just a bit off the wall from a couple of the employees. My daughter has twice dumped her icee all over the floor and I didn’t get a dirty look or a sneer from anyone either time. Just a clean cup and another chance for her to have her delicious icee. They sell wonderful bread leftovers in the little deli area that make really good sandwich bread. Insane amounts of it for a buck or so. If you’re making the trek down or up I-5 stop and take a look, best prices you’re gonna get on convenience food in the area and the very best service you’ll receive by far!
