Hands down best place to relax and enjoy amazing food and wine in Durango. Been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better and better. Whether your siting inside or outside on the patio your sure to have an amazing evening with friends and lots of locals. Alison the owner is an amazing hostess and singer if you happen to be there on Tuesday nights.

In love with this menu! Such a unique selection of food with reasonable prices for the high quality. I got a loaded sweet potato/quinoa/arugala small plate and gluten free focaccia bread that they source from a local bakery. Excellent service at this restaurant and a great wine selection. I sat outside so didn’t experience much of the ambiance inside but I did love the patio.

We had a wonderful lunch here. My chicken over salad was really good — the chicken was well seasoned and moist. My husband enjoyed his meze plate. The service was good. I loved the décor — modern rustic. We’ll be back next time we’re in Durango!

We arrived just as they opened for dinner so we were the only ones there for the most part. Because of this we got the best seat in the house at the booth in the front window and attentive service. The soup of the day that we got at the beginning was just OK, but the entrees were incredible! My girlfriend an I both loved this place and hope to go back.

We’ve been to Cyprus before and had a good meal. This time, we sat down at our table after making a reservation and waited about 15 minutes to even get waters and place a drink order. It took another 15 minutes to find out they were out of each of the beers we ordered. Once the drinks came, one was wrong and had to be replaced. We got appetizers that were good(calamari and the meze plate). But after we were done with those, no one cleared the plates for another 15 minutes so we had to actually ask for the dirty plates to be removed from the table. Once the entreés arrived, one of the meals was missing the sauce. It was a dry lamb shank and dry lentils and no sauce. Our server did not appear until we were done. When we mentioned that the lamb was missing a component that was listed on the menu, our server became very defensive and actually asked why we didn’t tell her sooner(because she never came back after we got our food until we were done eating it). They comped us a few beers, but overall the food and service was really disappointing. I don’t know that we would ever return or recommend this place again. Sad to say, because the space is beautiful and it should be a lot better.

The Sea Bass was excellent. The bread was super fresh, the service amazing. The restaurant reminds me of a small bistro in France or Germany.

Awesome place. Both the risotto and the cod were delicious. We are now waiting for the desert and for the coffee… If you are in Durango, plan for a meal here. Totally recommend!

Went here for lunch and would highly recommend it. We had the gyro and falafel– both were excellent. Although we didn’t have wine, their selection looked pretty solid.

Delicious fresh food. The wine choices are good, interesting cocktails and diverse menu with veggie and gluten free options. We had the mezze appetizer, buckwheat Gorgonzola crêpe and zucchini linguine. Desserts were amazing too. Great service. Cozy setting.

Wonderful café, incredible food. Between us we had a chicken salad, soup of the day and a grilled vegetables on flat bread. Service was quick, professional. The patio was nice, modern and very open. The indoor dining was in a old house, very cool. Dog friendly Food A+ Great service Expensive-yes

Great food. I had special: an open faced chicken sandwich on pita. Others had a turkey pita and a cheeseburger. Everyone was impressed. Fresh ingredients. Had some great local Ska Pinstripe beer. We didn’t have wine but noticed they had quite a wine list. Welcomed us and our dogs. Even provided water bowls for the pups. Would definitely come back!

Slow service. Good food, but small portions. The salmon in grape leaves(about 6 oz) was tasty, but it ONLY came with ½ cup quinoa and four measly carrot slices. Not worth the $ 19! The lentil soup hit the spot. It was flavored with curry and was a substantial amount.

My son and I stumbled upon this little gem for dinner. I started off with the Tiger’s Kiss(coconut vodka, ginger liqueur, pineapple lemongrass nectar, served up) and my son had the soup of the day(Peach purée cantaloupe purée, yogurt, tyme, served cold) and he loved it, it tasted like a smoothie lol. I had the Gosar Ranch Chicken Sausage with crispy polenta(holy yum) with a spicy romesco and sweet gremolata. Sonny boy had grilled chicken with carrots and pasta. Everything was cooked perfectly, and brought out quickly. The staff was not only super friendly and attentive, but they made the ambiance very comfortable. I look forward to going back:)

I’ll give this place 2.5 stars. But I’m not quite sure it’s deserving of three. As another reviewer put it, the food is bland and overpriced. I’m assuming the prices are what they are due to the nature of the café. Regardless, a plate of olives should not cost $ 7. I got the el dorado steak sandwich for $ 14 and the meat was very under seasoned. The sauce had little to no flavor as well. Service wasn’t bad, but the waitress left us unattended for long periods of time. If they lowered their prices a little and upped the flavor this place would be amazing.

Awesome food and service … and the margarita was delicious! Wish I hadn’t been driving so I could’ve enjoyed two. Dog friendly patio always gets extra points with me.

The three stars are for: great ambiance for outdoors dining, simple, but elegant set up and comfortable; good food but: What’s up with over cooking the meat? I went for dinner with 6 people and 3 of us had meat, everything was over cooked, even the potatoes. My 2 friends didn’t necessarily ask for it to be rare like I did, but they still agreed it was too cooked for their taste. Also I ordered a beer and got another one instead. It seems that the waiters are just not paying attention and/or not communicating with the cooks. Shame because they have the elements to cook great food and are not putting it into practice. I didn’t say anything because the last thing I want to do is waste food for a first world problem, but I hope they’ll read the review and try to make efforts.

Decent food. Overpriced by half. The falafel some rave about is mediocre and the portions are the smallest I’ve ever seen in any country. 2 bucks per falafel which is half the normal size at best. But then it’s bland. Avoid it if you’ve had good falafel. The meze plate was subpar. The baba ganoush was literally a tasteless paste. The humus was unseasoned. The tzatziki was great, but they spelled it incorrectly, hilariously. The olives were an after thought as was the decent feta. There was a perfect amount of pita, assuming nobody ever eats the baba ganoush. Alert: the spanakopita was the best I’ve ever had, bar none. They offer a spanakopita plate and I wish I’d had that! We also had the bison sliders which were uninteresting. They were way over priced and everyone was adding salt and pepper. The meat itself reminded us of low end British beef — not great. Also tried was the salmon peach grape wtf salad. 24 dollars for a 4 dollar piece of salmon on greens with boiled(??) almonds, a side of half a peach and a bunch of admittedly nice grapes. The dressing on the greens was quite nice. I would expect to pay, at most, 16 dollars and it’s no more than a $ 12 value. I mostly enjoyed the Full Moon cocktail, tho the choice of lemon over orange as the garnish is perplexing. Cocktails were eight dollars and actually from the joint next door. I felt it was a good value and I want to try that joint! Bottom line is that this place is for over 60 tourists who’ve never traveled outside of the Midwest. By spicing their food correctly and adjusting their prices somewhat, this could easily become a gem. Oh and there was a bad band with an overly confident Madeleine Peyroux tribute act. AND there was a beautiful Cane Corso.

This atmosphere and food were both excellent. We were all a bit tired when we got here but the good and service perked everyone up. Located a block off the Main Street makes this a real destination. Bison steak was well prepared and had great flavor. The side vegetables remind me of why I like vegetables. Smoked trout salad fresh and refreshing. They treated the kids well and accommodated thier special requests. Well worth it.

We actually waited around for them to open for dinner at 5:00(they are closed between lunch and dinner, so check before you set out!) but were not very impressed. The staff was nice and attentive but we actually had to ask for silverware when our food arrived. The bread they served was nice and the potato soup(of the day) was very tasty but the house salad had way too large pieces of lettuce which not only had the stems but were also a bit wilty too. The whole thing had a strong vinegar taste. That vinegar taste carried over to the main dishes too. We orded the angel hair pasta plate and it was over cooked, the sauce and additional ingredients were way too acidic and the chicken added on was dry and flavorless. The atmosphere was nice and we liked how it was built into a home but it definitely wasn’t worth the wait.
