Eh, good size shop with seating & wi-fi but overall food & drink isn’t anything to write home about. It’ll do the job if you need your fix or a quick pastry or sandwich, but nothing really impressive to see here. Maybe it was just this location(handful in Durango area), but by no means are these baristas actually into the coffee, more of a job for college bros.

Great tasting espresso. Welcoming, friendly staff. Nice place to chill. Definitely the best espresso I’ve had in Durango.

Delicious coffee with friendly service :) Vanilla latte had just the right amount of sweetness and was piping hot. The baristas are super nice and get your coffee to you quickly. There are a bunch of nice tables, some for chatting and some for getting work done. Check out the bookcase in the corner if you are bored!

3 words – Honey Bear Latte. Holy crap! Duuuuhhhhh! Why didn’t I think of putting honey in my coffee?! It was so delicious. The staff and owner were super friendly and helpful and the baked goods looked to-die-for! I’ll be back! P. S. thanks for the idea of honey in my coffee :)

Very pleased with my experience here. Needing a coffee fix, as my wife and I are staying here on vacation, we decided to give this place a shot. The employees were friendly, and our drinks(iced white chocolate mocha, and a frozen mocha) were delicious. In my opinion, flavored drinks made with powders instead of syrups are substantially better… and these were indeed better than your average mochas. Atmosphere was relaxing as well. Well done Durango Joes, well done.

Great location, cute place, and the friendly guy at the front were the only positives of this coffee shop. Breakfast burrito was flavorless and the hash browns were raw. No vegan options for food. The chai tea was lukewarm and flavorless. The Americano(coffee house staple) was weak. I would give it one star if the guy at the front wasn’t so damn nice!

Seems like a great coffee place just outside of Durango downtown on the way up to Ft Lewis. Lattes were great.

I like coffee… A LOT! I understand coffee shops don’t differ dramatically but I’ve always liked this place for their coffee and cool staff. This is the 3rd time I’ve been here in as many years and I’ll keep comin back whenever I’m in town.

We were here for a family vacation and the coffee at our hotel was one step above dirty water. We drove by this place a couple of times and decided we had to try it out. This place has excellent service and coffee. I bought a bag of coffee and was able to get one of my drinks free because of their Friday deal. Very friendly gals behind the counter.

I’m a transplant to Durango and wasn’t expecting the kind of awesome service I received. The two baristas instantly won me over and the coffee was good. My new coffee shop.

Coffee was not good and the sandwiches and burrito were not fresh. Not sure if all the locations were as bad as this one, but my three friends and I were not impressed. We actually stopped eating Joe’s food and went across the street to Subway to get sandwiches before our 4 hour drive home. Plus I was charged the same amount for my tea even though I had my own cup… ? Cute little shop, I thought this place would be much better.

Convenient, local organic coffee house that utilizes local business for food/pastry options. Several locations across town, including a drive through. Durango would not be the same without Durango Joes.

My girlfriend, dog, and I were passing through from LA to NY not expecting too much from the shop. The barristas were super friendly and the service was top notch. The pomegranate green tea was amazing. I’ve tried searching for an equivalent drink around the country, even at Starbucks, but nothing comes close. I’m going to have to come back to Durango, CO just to enjoy this incredible, refreshing drink.

This place gets the job done: decent coffee and reasonable prices. It may be sacrilegious to suggest the coffee here isn’t as phenomenal as places in bigger cities but for Durango it’s good. They do roast their own coffee which is nice for the freshest coffee but I am not impressed enough to buy their roasted coffee for use at home. Ultimately, this place is my usual pick for the convenient location and the good strength of their drinks.

Great little coffee shop. Decent prices and an assortment of breakfast type items, including a breakfast burrito that is not bad. Great coffee, good service, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back

I’m not a coffee drinker. That being said, I love the mudslide. The baristas were friendly and the ambiance was awesome. I loved that it was a space to really chill. The seating area was open and inviting. Awesome bonus of free WiFi!

Out of the whole bunch, this is my favorite Joe’s shop. The atmosphere is a mix of business people, cops, and college kids. They’re open till 10 or 11 almost every night, so it’s the perfect place to begin an all-nighter :) And the staff is far and away the best of any other Joe’s in town… of any other coffee place in town, for that matter. My favorite drink is a «dirty» chai with a shot of espresso. And I love that Joe’s gives a discount when you bring in your own mug!

I used to switch between Durango Joe’s and Starbucks back when I first moved to Durango. Starbucks started tasting like coffee brewed from burned coffee beans. Durango Joe’s tasted like heavenly coffee in a cup. They have yummy food(available until it’s gone), and the coffee is always fresh and hot, unless of course you’re looking for some iced coffee, then it’s cold :) Their 911 coffee is the bomb! Really, when I had some serious finals to cram for, or I had been up late studying and needed more of a pick me up than just coffee or a Monster Energy, I’d grab a 911 on the way to class, and then another 911 on the way to study after class. I didn’t sleep well on those nights, but that’s a caffeine surge for ya’. I got good grades despite the lack of sleep. I credit Durango Joe’s a teeny tiny bit for helping me achieve my good grades(lol). Seriously though, if you’re in the market for a REALLYGOOD cup of NOTSOORDINARY coffee, hit up Durango Joe’s(there’s 2 in town, and 1 on the outskirts near the Office Depot). Delicious.
