Food is awesome, but the costumer service was awful or at least the girl that checked me out.

Looking for a quick, healthy brunch in Durango on vacation, I came across Raider Ridge Café. Sitting in the back of an older strip-mall, this place is a classic Colorado mountain/college restaurant. Boasting a simple menu of wraps and smoothies, it fit the bill for us. The décor is «mountain hippie» without going too far into the«ashram» category. I got the«Big Canyon» which contained potatoes, beans, mushrooms and spinach and a smoothie. My wife got a breakfast wrap of some sort and green chile stew. All were fresh and tasty except the green chile stew, which was a bit too thick. My smoothie was very good(a green one into which they added house-made almond butter), though the apple juice made it REALLY sweet. I’d grab a wrap from here again next time I’m in Durango.

Delicious wraps but the place is not very nice, that’s why I give 4 stars. Would go there again just because it tasted great!

Grabbed some lunch with my mom at this little café. It’s hidden in the corner of the plaza so keep your eyes peeled! The menu is mainly wraps but apparently you can have anything on the menu made as a salad which is pretty cool. They also have a nice selection of breakfast burritos, smoothies, and coffee. I ordered the Durango wrap and my mom had a half salad with a cup of soup(green chili). Service was relatively fast and the ladies who helped us at the counter were nice. I was super happy with my wrap: the wheat exterior was soft and yummy, and it was packed with deliciousness inside(chicken, avocado, greens). The serving is quite large, and they give you a choice of a side too, so I tried the Asian slaw which had great flavor and crunch. Remember to bus your dishes after your meal! My stomach was definitely full after eating here and the variety of the wraps will have me coming back to try more soon.

Holy unmitigated crap. This place was delicious. I had the«Sharktooth Hash» I think it was called, plus a local blend coffee with a little honey. I just… Seriously. Best meal I’ve had since Little Rock. And that was over a week of travel ago. And the counter staff was both helpful and charming. Go to this place.

Excellent food. We ate there for breakfast and had make your own breakfast wraps. My wife had coffee and I had iced green tea both very good. Highly recommended.

Wraps and food are good, but the smoothies are the best in town by far. I recommend the strawberry sunrise smoothie.

Great find! Amazing wraps, this will be a guaranteed stop every time I’m in Durango. I created my own with Portabella mushrooms sautéed in balsamic, onions, peppers, avocado, and tomato. The homemade vegan green chili some of the best I’ve ever had!

Fresh, original, well flavored, with great coffee. The vegan pecan apple pancakes are delightful! The croissant sandwich and the scrambled eggs w hash and green chiles over the eggs plate was ok but it was fresh and the potatoes were tasty.

I couldnt find a reason not to give it a five. Breakfast all day. Their wraps are really big and tasty, not greasy at all. There baked goods are from scratch with real blueberries. Local student artwork on the wall and the bus your own table at a non-fastfood restuarant is a cool idea. Reasonable pricing for the amount of food.

Stopped by this place to get free WiFi to find a place to eat breakfast, was hesitant on going in just because the shopping centers run down. Glad i went in, wbecause the coffee was awesome, wrap was great, wish i could eat one every day. I highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite lunch places! I always get their soup, and it is usually amazing. Green Chili always, and then the specials are fantastic. Chicken Chipotle Chowder and Cream of Portabello are my faves, but all are great. Always come with fresh bread. Service is efficient and friendly.

No joke, my favorite place in town! I love a lot of other places, too, but this one takes the cake for how conveniently casual of an eatery it is. Let me detail this: — Fresh and locally-sourced food and coffee of superb quality for the price you pay! Dishes are all under 10 pretty much –Call in or order their grab and go stuff for quick takeout options, seriously an amazing, healthy option to fast food! — Come with friends whenever and have a nice sit down café meal and order breakfast ANY part of the day — Sweet bonus Sunday brunch menu INADDITIONTO their breakfast menu. There aren’t usually any lines, unlike College Drive Café! — Wraps galore! So fresh and yummy. — Grab a nice post-workout smoothie and add whatever you want to it, like espresso or granola. I have both in my smoothie right now! Nommmm — Chill place to get work done or read. Wifi is available! Many coffee options and pastries, too! — Very nice atmosphere and ambience. Brightly colored walls make me happy, as well as all the local artwork they hang up. They are changing it out right now as I am writing this, haha. — Small and cozy, but can accommodate a big group(not really more than one huge group, there is one long table in the center for this purpose. — Yummy soups and salads, too! — Build your own breakfast burritos for $ 5.75. ‘Nuff said. I like sprouts in mine! Mixing it upppp I could go on and on, but I will contain myself. This café is a hidden gem in Durango because it is tucked away in the corner of the plaza, near the 8th Ave Tavern. Not hard to find once you drive into the shopping center next to the co-op. I will coming here pretty frequently now that I am taking some postbac classes at Fort Lewis. It is the perfect pit stop or place to cram in some studying before a test! Back to my smoothie now…

I just ate an amazing breakfast. I had the veggie Benedict on the Sunday brunch menu. Eggs were cooked perfectly & the home fries were seasoned well. Also tried the banana pancakes, which were surprisingly good! Our new favorite breakfast place. Glad it’s only a few blocks from our apartment.

Wow, why did we only find this on our last day in Durango! Everyone in our party LOVED the food which was wholesome and delicious! And importantly, quick! We didn’t think it was humanly possible to make delicious food this quickly. As for specific recommendations, the mango mountain smoothie was particularly good! The hippie veg wrap was delicious too! I wish I could give it 6 stars.
