I’m not sure what the deal was with the previous review, I could understand complaining about poor service, but to be so attacking on the concept of the store is uncalled for. If you don’t like olive oil or never been to this type of store, then either don’t go there, or just try it WITHOUT bias. Anyways my wife and I stopped in and ended up buying 2 bottles. Tasted pretty awesome. We were helped by the owner Cherie. She was very knowledgable and friendly. They have more than just oils and vinegars, awesome selection of mustards AND they have DOTERRAOILS! If you’re on vacation and forgot your intune or digestzen this place has you covered! Cherie did mention she recently purchased this business from the founders…

The coolest shop in Durango by far! Great Balsamics and Oils which you can taste in the store, Olivela beauty products are outstanding and amazing spices and candles from AZ, staff are knowledgeable and very friendly! You have to stop by when visiting Durango!

Awesome. The 18 yr old balsamic vinegar is my current favorite — better than Trader Joes. And I love the Roasted Chile flavored oil. Simply delicious and I can’t get this anywhere else. I would recommend dropping by and trying them out.

Loved this shop. The sales clerk was very helpful and let us taste lots of different combinations of oils and vinegars. We bought some for a dinner party and our guests loved it. We enjoyed finding something unique at Durango Olive Oil to take home that we would actually use.

The somewhat ridiculous yuppie puppie craze of olive oil tasting reaches a new low with this Starbuckian styled store. The disinterested 20ish attendant gave the same canned monotone spiel to all who entered, a robo introduction to the wonder of miscellaneous extracts added to olive oil. Pretension reigns here, as horned-rimmed glasses wearing professor types wax endlessly about the hints of juniper seed and raspberry slurries imbued in the solid double virgin olive oil base. Barf.
