Very friendly and accommodating. Stopped in to rent without any reservation and though they weren’t very hopeful for us at first, took the time to find everything we needed. We were in luck. 15% military discount on rentals, 10% on merchandise, to which the selection for both was good. All employees were so nice! You can tell they do well, because when we got to Purg, it seemed half the skiers had Hassle Free rentals just like ours. Places like this make it a no brainier for renting. No reason whatsoever to rent from the resorts.

Our first time visiting Durango and we were looking for a place to rent bikes. This place is truly hassle free. We were able to rent two very nice high-quality like new bikes for a very reasonable price. The people there were very friendly and helpful. They gave us very good recommendations on where to ride. This place is easy access to the Animas River Trail and has plenty of parking. They were very accommodating and it was easy check in and easy check out. We are planning to rent the«sup» boards on our next visit.

These guys don’t really know what they’re doing. They are pretty nice and mean well, but don’t leave your ski trip gear in their hands or you may be disappointed. They fitted me for ski boots which ended up cutting into my led so badly that I had to go to another shop to rent some decent boots. When I returned them and asked for a partial refund, Dan said«Well, that’s why we fit them here at the shop before you leave.» as if to say it was my fault. I replied«Exactly! And aren’t you guys the experts.» They never even considered a partial refund.

Very helpful Answering questions and helping me problem solve why my bike was uncomfortable. Bought a new seat and now I can ride for longer trips without discomfort. I’m very glad I visited. They also oiled up my chain for no charge and fit me in right away.

went in to see if i can get my daughter’s skis waxed. I waited 10 minutes in the ski area. Lady behind the counter saw me come into the shop, yet never attempted to assist me. She rather continue the juvenile conversation she was having. Staff aren’t very helpful, at least that person was. Nor is the manager. If you want to anything to do with skiing go to a competitor. Don’t waste your time here, because it isn’t important to them.

I have nothing bad to say about Hassle Free. I went in one day when I needed a bike for the Tour de Farms bike ride, and they provided me with a Trek road bike. That bike was simply a joy. It seemed to almost pedal itself, and I enjoyed it so much that even after our ride was done, I rode it back to the store on the bike path rather than ride in the car with E. If I had the $ 5000 to buy a new one, or even the $ 1200 to buy a used one, I would do it in a heartbeat, So why only three stars? Well… my bike rental was almost $ 60. And I know, I know… I got a $ 5000 road bike out of the deal. But $ 60 for one day? Sheesh. It’s too bad the price is so steep, because otherwise I’d be renting from them more often. As it stands, it would be more affordable to buy the damn bike. I like this place. I certainly won’t rule them out in the future. However, I think I will be buying instead of renting the next time I go there.

My husband and I went to Durango for the Single Speed World Championships and I needed a bike to ride around town. I went to Hassle Free and they were Hassle free. The staff was friendly and I was in and out pretty quick both for pick up and return. I was charged about $ 65 for a half day and a full day for a plain Trek bike.
