Literally the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I recommend the mashed potatoes or mac n cheese for sides! If you’re ever in the south, then this is a must try :)

One of the things I find important when eating at a fast food joint is consistancy, this is not something they achieve at this location. One day it will be fresh and delicious the next day it will be old and dried up.

Dine or Ditch? Dine…I knew a man Bojangles and he’d cook for you in worn out aprons(Don’t tell Bob Dylan I used his music here) This is one of those TOTALLY biased reviews where emotional value definitely brings up the star rating, but it’s my account and I’ll let some bias in from time to time. Well… backstory, guy meets girl, guy likes girl, girl talks about Bojangles for like a month before guy finally gets a chance to visit, and girl takes guy to Bojangles. For a month all I heard was about their biscuits and I have to admit they are actually really good. In my mind top two along with Red Lobster. They are different and it’s hard to pick a favorite, but Bo really makes a good push for the top spot. As for the rest of the food, it’s good for what it is… fast food. They were good chicken fingers with well made french fries and a bit of cajun seasoning. I’m not one to stop for fast food very often, but if I was hungry and I saw a Bojangles I would make a quick pop-in. The price point was pretty spot on(we got 2 meals for like $ 10, which is fair for fast food in my mind). And the place seemed pretty clean. The woman took our trays which was nice as well. All and all, it was a good experience(with a hint of bias) and I’m sure I’ll be back when the opportunity presents itself.

Terrible service. I had to go back twice to get my order correct. The manager/owner needs to take a look at the staff.

Let’s face it, all Bojangles have the same recipe and should be equal, right? Definitely not the case. We were able to see this locations true colors as we arrived at 10 minutes to midnight, which is closing time. They could have told us they were out of food, because they were out of chicken selects, but instead made a fresh batch for us, which is blazing hot and tasted like a true Bojangles defining item. We were thankful for that and the great service. On the other hand, the(my favorite item, too!) Pecan Twist was burnt and had seemingly been resting on the counter for hours(I know what a fresh one tastes like, trust me) and the fries we received were cold. Fortunately, the sweet tea was legendary. Phew. For passersby, this isn’t as easy of an on/off from the 40 as you would prefer, but if you’re in the area and think it’s Bo-Time, you’ll get what Bojangles tends to deliver on a consistent basis here.

This is a fried chicken joint, so you know they have real chicken on hand. Thank goodness their chicken tenders(what do they call them. chicken supremes or somesuch?) are indeed made of said chicken. I prefer to come here for the fries(5 stars for those!!), but since I’m motivated by a civic duty to catalog all the gross robot chicken tenders around(as opposed to real deal legit chicken meat chicken tenders) to spare everyone else the gag reflex activated by biting into a breaded oblong shape only to find it filled with mysterious white webby substance, I gotta throw Bo’ some love.

Another day, another Bojangles’! :D I’m ok with this visit & the location makes me even more happy — it’s just a little ways off I-85. This particular visit was on a Saturday morning, a little after 11AM. I arrived in the drive-thru with several cars in front of me. While it took a while to get to the speaker, as it seemed the other customers had pretty large orders. Once I got to the order speaker, the voice on the other end didn’t seem to excited to be at work. I ordered a chicken supremes meal with sweet tea. Getting to the window didn’t seem to take much time at all. Once there, another male employee didn’t seem to be happy to be at work either, as he just took my debit card, gave me my food without speaking. The parking lot is pretty small, but the restaurant is located in a strip mall. My food was really good. The supremes, fries & biscuit all were cooked to perfection.

Food is good when it’s not burned. The main reason I gave only two stars is because I go here for breakfast Friday mornings through the drive through and the people that work at the window are the worse. They don’t even say one word. No good morning. They just wait for you to give them the money and they don’t even tell u the total when u get to the window. I would like to make sure before I give you my money if you have the right order or not. Just the worse customer service. I guess they don’t train those people how to actually open there mouth. It’s ridiculous.

Even though the biscuits and fried chicken are probably thousands of calories, I still love it.

Its always Bo Time when driving by Bojangles’. If you are not from the South, then you may not have heard of this place. It serves real good fried chicken fast. They also have maybe some of the best biscuits in the Nation. Light, fluffy, buttery goodness that is hard to past up. Nothing here is healthy food and much of it has too much salt. Please people you have got to try the«Bo-Berry Biscuit» for me. It is a sweet biscuit made with blueberries and icing on top. Food B Staff B Décor C Location B Health Inspection Grade 100.5

Amazing chicken. Simply amazing. I wish the West Coast had some. Definitely superior to Popeyes and KFC. Everything, from the chicken to the mashed potatoes to the biscuits, was excellent. The biscuits were so fluffy, flaky and buttery. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious but surprisingly light. The chicken was breaded perfectly, cooked well and spiced to just fit my taste. Definitely incomparable to all other fried chicken at that price.(The price being«cheap» of course)

Family meal, or whatever this value meal is called, is the way to go for 2+ people. You get chicken, biscuits, some sides(two?), and a half-gallon of sweet tea. If we don’t finish everything, we always take it to go. And if, for some reason, we don’t feel like eating the leftovers later, we offer it to our friends, who never refuse them. Bo(jangles’) knows best when it comes to fried chicken and biscuits: — Bo-biscuits, as I affectionately call them, are quite possibly the best biscuits everrr. — The bf enjoys the sausage biscuit. — Fried chicken, my fingers were made for eating you. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty if you’re in them. Bo also knows…: — On the topic of dirty, gotta get the dirty rice for a side. Seasoned fries and cole slaw complete the meal, too. — I like to add some bodacious bo-tato rounds. That’s right, I’m crushing on the sexy circular figure of these flattened tater tots. Bojangles is so awesome that we verbafied it in conversation while in NC. For example: — «Wanna Bojangles’ later?» — «Yeah, let’s Bojangles’ before the library!»

I agree with fellow Unilocalers that Bojangles’ has the BEST fried chicken in the triangle. I came here for lunch with friends and I enjoyed every bite of my greasy, crispy, white meat fried chicken. Chicken was juicy and tender. Yet so greasy I had to use a stack of napkins to wipe my hands. You can choose white or dark meat. To quench my thirst, I drank sweet tea. The Bojangles’ sweet tea was way sweeter than Mickey D’s sweet tea. Meanwhile the biscuits were buttery and fluffy; if I could I would eat half a dozen but unfortunately I can’t. =( For calories conscious folks, it’s great to loosen up and eat some good old fashioned fried chicken once in awhile. Bojangles’ is way better than KFC but probably ties with Popeyes’. 2.5 stars since I am not a big fan of ridiculously greasy fried food. Tasty but so unhealthy.

My favorite fried chicken place! I always get dark meat because it’s more juicy. The chicken here is very greasy, but that’s what makes fried chicken good! Just don’t eat this every day. I only come here if I have fast food or fried chicken cravings. The chicken is slightly spicy but not unbearably spicy. The skin is very crispy which is another plus. Their biscuits and dirty rice are also excellent. Definitely better than KFC. Compared to Popeyes, it’s more greasy but I think it’s still more tasty and better.

Sweetest sweet tea on the planet! The rest of their food is too salty for me. This shopping center’s parking lot is inconvenient.

I can’t help but give Bojangles 5 stars. Although I may like the seasoning on Popeye’s chicken more, Bojangles is an essential part of the Carolina experience. Being a little out of place in the south while at college it took me a bit to catch on to the importance of Bojangles but I sure understand now. Carolina kids make countless trips out here throughout the week for the fast fried chicken and biscuit fixes. The sweet tea is pure sugar and my favorite option is the kids meal. Be sure to add extra seasoning to the fries and to put some honey on the biscuit!

You’re gonna want to get a Cajun Fillet Biscuit, french fries and sweet tea. Our local Durham Bojangles’ is always packed with UNC and Duke students, and for good reason: The biscuits are the best in the area. This Bojangles’ is pretty consistent in terms of food quality. The biscuits are generally fluffy and buttery, the Cajun fillets spicy and lean and the fried chicken crispy. I’m a Bo Round fan myself, but I do enjoy their Cajun fries. Just don’t get them to go, as they’ll be soggy before you can make it up the hill on Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. The sweet tea is usually pretty good here, too. This Bojangles’ has really improved in the last few years. No, it hasn’t been remodeled to mimic the newer installations popping up around the country. But, the store now takes credit cards, and, if the mood is good, won’t charge you for ketchup packets or soda refills. The Cajun salt is still chained to the counter, though. As a bonus, this is probably the only Bojangles’ in America with a human drive-thru. That’s right, on many a visit I’ve been greeted by actual humans taking my order in the drive-thru line. Come enjoy the chicken, especially on Sunday mornings, when you can get reacquainted with your bar buddies from the previous evening.

Tried the chicken here. Yeah, it’s good and super cheap. But seriously — the fries are completely inedible. I am NOT one to complain about salt, but they probably put a week’s worth of sodium on one order of fries. I know fast food is not health food, but the other fast food places do not try as hard to kill you(well at least not in the fry department).

Okay, prior to my road trip through the Carolinas( ) I had no idea what Bojangles’ was, well ignorance ISNOT bliss! Bojangle’s is what every fried chicken joint in America hopes to become when it grows up. I’ve only been to this one location, but I’m going to take the liberty to extrapolate to all locations. The chicken is big and juicy and perfectly fried, words do not do it justice. The only problem was that when I was done I was angry, very angry, you would not like me when I’m angry…

The first thing my family does when we hit NC is grab a biscuit at Bojangles. Is it the best in town? No, but there are locations all over the place and they have reasonable hours. I love the cajun chicken biscuits, they are nicely spiced and juicy. The biscuits tend to be on the dryer side, but let’s be honest, they’re better than any I have ever made! My mom likes the sausage biscuits, too. Whatever you order, the filling does not overwhelm the flavor of the biscuit, thank goodness. I seriously think I would trade Chick-fil-a for Bojangles and that says a lot. Still, I’m kind of glad I don’t have a location near where I live because I would weigh 600 lbs and have«Mr. Bojangles» stuck in my head all the time.
