I’ve been visiting Durham, NC from Portland, Oregon and I was told that I had to try Bojangles. My first time here at Bojangles completely surpassed my expectations! I mean, I heard it was good, but it was delicious! I can certainly see why people get addicted to this stuff. I think what made this the best experience was the staff. They were, by far, the most personable, professional and enthusiastic team members whose customer service gave me 110%. I would definitely go back for more!

Delicious comfort food that’s terrible for you. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, individual fries and a Bo Berry biscuit is my typical order

Two piece chicken meal — $ 5. Thigh and drumstick were both very succulent on the inside with a crispy battered outside. Couldn’t believe that one hasn’t opened up in the west coast — throw up some competition for KFC. Biscuit? Amazing. Delicious, buttery and salty biscuit paired with mashed potatoes and gravy is the perfect pair with my chicken.

This was my first time at Bojangle’s! After hearing a lot of good things about this place, I finally got the chance to try it out. I ordered the dinner 2 pc combo, which was $ 5.50. It came with two pieces of chicken(one breast and one leg), one biscuit, one side, and one sweet tea. The chicken was very tender and juicy, and pretty much reminded me of KFC. Make sure to get some of their cajun hot sauce to put on your chicken. The biscuit was also really good with the honey. Also, they offer one choice of dipping sauce(honey mustard, ranch, etc) with each order, so make sure to ask for one of that. For the side, I had the cole slaw, which tastes extremely vinegar-y and sour. I pretty much tossed after my first taste. But my friends had the dirty rice and fries, and they liked it. Also, the cajun fries had a little kick to it which I liked. The sweet tea is what makes this place really special. If you order it separately, it’s only $ 1. But, it’s free with a dinner combo! It tastes delicious, and you can have as many refills as you would like. They also sell these by the quart, so if you absolutely love them you can take a tank of it home. I also tried a bit of my friend’s blueberry biscuit, and I thought it was pretty delicious too. The cashier lady was pretty apathetic and unfriendly, but aside from that I had a good experience w/the food here. Parking is a breeze, which is always nice. Great alternative to KFC for your fried chicken needs. David’s VPP(Value per price): 9⁄10

Stopped in today and needed it fast. If course we didn’t ask for speed… we just hoped for it and got our wish. On top of the speed it was very attentive and friendly service. We all need to start praising those who go beyond their job description with customers!!! Here’s my start.

Every time we drive by Bojangle’s, the familiar song from SNL«Mr. Bojangle’s is a really a girl, Mr. Bojangles is really a girl!». In addition to the playful jingle, the chicken here is magical — even by non-fast food standards. The breast and biscuit combo may be the best culinary invention since time started! We recently discovered the Botato Rounds — effectively circular hash browns with a little bit of Bojangles jive mixed in. A perfect addition to a chicken biscuit for that special trip Saturday AM! There is no Bojangle’s in our curent home city, but due to the beauty in the biscuit, we visit every time we come back!

I’ve been going to this Bojangles since I moved to the area in 2007. Never had any complaints and the people working are always so nice. One down side is that in the mornings and on Sundays it is usually packed, inside and out, but that’s typical for any Bojangles really and they always have someone outside taking orders in the drive-thru to speed up the process.

crazy fried chicken establishment. supposedly there are some in the maryland region in largo and oxon hill. but anyway… if you’re from the DC area, we all know that popeyes is the best fried chicken in town. here’s how i compare bojangles to popeyes: (1) chicken — bojangles has only one type … original. there is no spicy, but the original itself has a little kick (2) rice — bojangles has«dirty rice» which is similar to cajun rice, but with more meat and oily (3) biscuits — bojangles has larger biscuits with less butter, but more moisture (4) fries — bojangles uses a old-bay-like seasoning that’s a winner (5) sweet tea — good sweet tea doesn’t exist above the north carolina border. sweet tea at bojangles is GREAT and comes free with a purchase of any meal… their way of baking the price of the beverage into the cost. loaded with sugar… im a fan of bojangles, but still love popeyes

The little one(my sister) came back raving about this chicken. I’d been mocked by the billboards while traveling the East Coast highway, but nothing prepared me for the bitch slap Bojangles gives its first time diners. I was floored. Fried chicken is not something I get too excited about, but this place probably makes Colonel Sanders turn over in his grave. The chicken is like KFC times 20 in regards to flavor. Its super juiciness is probably at fault. The biscuits are awesome and will make you gain 20 pounds instantly. So yeah – it’s not health food, but you only live once!
