Some of the professional staff i.e. Surgeons, doctors, psych/​social ect. are excellent! But the system is distorted due to a lot of awful lazy and rude employees and the ones that do try are forced to attempt to make up for the others on computers that are junk, and an illusion of structure with zero accountability. Everybody can say it’s somebody else’s job. sometimes exactly like plausible denial or just plain no one knows who does what or how to communicate with other departments internally. Pharmacy and ER is a nightmare most of the time. It’s like a punishment for getting injured in war. This V.A. is better than others around the U.S. so this problem is the VA system as a whole.

The Durham VA Medical Hospital is the worst, especially the ER department. They need more than one doctor here and they are so damn slow. I am PISSED right now. No fucking star’s.
