While the facility is older, the healthcare providers and staff are top notch!
They have never failed to call me after an appointment to see how I’m doing nor call me as a courtesy prior to my appointments to remind me.
Parking is occasionally a bit tight but today’s appointment, from pulling in the parking lot to pulling out was less than 45 minutes. That included my walk to and from my car, patient check in and screening, an unrushed visit with my provider and checkout/​scheduling for my follow up.
I wish the civilian community was as good when my care needs to be outsourced to meet appointment standards.

love the staff some are there to really help the veterans cleaner then most the hospitals I’ve been to like Fayetteville. For the best VA healthcare in this division which is division 6 Durham is your best bet.

Great doctors, lousy wait time if ER. I must say that this VA has the best OEF clinic. Speech pathology rocks, and I loved that my foot doctor was able to diagnose a skin problem that dermatology cannot. Only wished the VA had a better dermatology clinic. If I was reviewing that clinic alone I would give a half star however I love all the other doctors so dermatology gets a free pass.

if you are a veteran of any military branch you should consider becoming a member of the Veterans Administration.
So many medical services typically much better than in the private sector — and affordable.
In order to use the Veterans Administration you must first fill a VA Form 10−10EZ (usually found online). Once this is completed you will be contacted by the VA to schedule an appointment.
