Worst experience ever! I tried this place for the first time today and since I’ve never been there I did not know the policies and they got my order wrong and said it was because I did not specify so they assumed. They gave me a replacement and when I got home it was soggy and covered in pickle juice. i will not be coming here again.

I have never had a better sub than I have had here! The smokehouse beef brisket is amazing. The hawaiian was awesome as well

I love coming here for lunch! You always feel welcome and appreciated. Brad the manager remembered my name AND my order after my first couple visits. Friendly staff makes you feel your business is valued. The food is always delicious and even when you get an order to go, the food is hot, fresh, and consistently good. I’m definitely hooked and a loyal repeat customer!

This Firehouse Subs location is an independent operating franchisee serving salads, soups and subs just like the other competitors Jersey Mikes, Subway & Quiznos. Most of Firehouse Subs are hot subs and they do provide your option of additional heat in the form of 50 different hot sauces to choose from. On this visit, I got the«Hook & Ladder» sandwich. Very good, warm and tasty. Now then, what I don’t like about this location is the design. There is not much room to move about in the restaurant, God forgive if there is a line of people giving their order and you need to get more drink or go to the bathroom at the other end of the store. And there are no tables outside even if it is a nice day. Also, it gets rather annoying to hear«Welcome to Firehouse Subs» to every single person that enters the store. Am I being too picky about this? I think from now on, I’ll just get my food to go. Food B Staff C Décor B(table layout sucks) Location B Health Inspection Grade 100.0

I was completely blown away to see this location doesn’t have five stars here on Unilocal. First off, they have superior service. Brad, the manager there, WOW! He remembered us after our first visit. Since then, we have been back dozens of time – he and his entire staff are always welcoming. Secondly, but always first in my book – cleanliness of the location – it is always clean! Clean tables, clean restrooms, clean soda bar. Nice! Lastly, but ever so important – the subs. I am not even really that big of a sub fan, but the subs here are outrageously good. I have never had an experience like Eric D mentioned with the bread being soggy. Every sandwich that everyone in my family has had has been tasty and enjoyable. And their pickles? YUM! We have introduced many friends to Firehouse. Two were hard-core Subway fans. After trying Firehouse, they were sold! One thing I would suggest, if you haven’t tried it, is their salad. It is priced well, generous portion and every ingredient is so crisp and fresh. I have also had their chili which I would give a two thumbs up.

Firehouse is one of those chains that I am always happy to visit! I’m typically way more into local grub, but in this case, I will make an exception. So what’s so special? Well, for starters, they steam their subs! This makes for a very yummy melty goodness, and my two favorites are the Hook and Ladder(turkey based), and the Italian(mmmm.). Definitely give them a shot if you are looking for a quick good lunch. I visited the store this past weekend, and had some pretty good and very fresh ingredients. A good to know bonus? Show your ID, and you’ll get a free Medium sub on your birthday. Score.

I have only been to two Firehouse sub shops in my life and this location seemed to be on a decline. While I find nothing great about the chain’s concept, I thought I would give it another go. Atmosphere — Like a firehouse(duh.), actually the place is more of a red themed Subway with a fireman’s hat and jacket for décor(see photos). Food — I will opt for a hot sub over a cold sub almost any day of the week. Here their hot subs have the meat and cheese steamed together to quote«releasing a rush of flavors.» To me it just leaves you with a wet bun. I prefer my subs oven toasted but on better bread than say a Quizno’s. On this visit, I had the New York Steamer that consisted of Corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. While the title alone is bad enough the sub itself was decent… but overly wet once I went to eat it at home. The cookie, chocolate chip, was eh… to me… not worth the calories. Another disappointment was in the selection of hot sauces. Firehouse subshops usually have a lot of various types of bottled hot sauce on the counter to enable you to add a little kick to your sub. Here it was more of a display of empty crusty bottles than choices. If this site is trying to save money, they ought to at the very least remove the empty bottles. It was pretty gross to see. Price — $ 8.82 for a medium sub, cookie, drink, and tax is a little pricey. Overall — I am not the biggest fan of this chain but it might be good for you to try… if a little water does not throw you off. As for this particular location, it could definitely use some improvements.
