I really like this place! My favs are the Lamb & Beef Sliders Plate and the Gyro Pita. I have only gotten the fries as a side and they are good as well – What I would consider standard«Greek» seasoned fries. The Baklava is also worth ordering for dessert. All in all, definitely worth driving out of my for, when I have a taste for Mediterranean food.

Haven’t been disappointed in any of the items I’ve tried– sliders, gyro, soups– all have been very good. Service is excellent– glad to have them in the park!

Great food out of the way surprise when I was traveling. Great Greek food which I love. The service was great and friendly and prices are very good. Creatively done and presented for a lunch place. I will go out of my way to go there when I am in town again.

Love, love, love this place! I always get the Zeus Platter which has a little bit of everything. Blows Greek Fiesta away. The customer service is great and the food is amazing. Only complaint — I wish they were open for dinner or weekends.

I will be back. Ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken to go. Salad was well balanced with ingredients(feta, cucumbers, tomatoes, Greek olives) and the grilled chicken was very fresh and delicious. I would order it again.

So I decided to stop by Gussy’s Place since I was familiar with their food truck and had a good experience there. I was intrigued by a sit down restaurant concept. They weren’t very crowded. I’m guessing maybe the word has yet to get out that they have a brick and mortar store. I ordered a lamb gyro($ 8) and decided to be adventurous and go with the«Greek» version which is to put fries inside of the sandwich instead of lettuce. The only other place I have heard of that does this is Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh.(Never been there, but have seen their sandwich with fries featured on Food Network). Anyway, the gyro with fries inside concept is actually pretty good. I also like lettuce with my gyro though, so next time would probably get the lettuce and fries on the side. I think currently they charge for fries as a side($ 5), which is a bummer, so maybe they will consider coming up with a combo deal in the future. P.S they are only currently open a few hours a day during lunch hours.

Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food you get here. If you want good Mediterranean food, go up the street to Cilantro. Their food is 10x better than this place!

Expensive, small portions and bad taste. Just tried the place for the first time and was pretty disappointed. For 8 dollar you will get a small sandwich with no side. Sides are 5 $. Had the Falafel sandwich and the Falafel was pretty terrible– salty, dry, over fried. Recommend to go to Greek Fiesta instead — better options, more affordable and simply much better taste.

Gussy’s Greek food truck has been around for years selling delicious and authentic Greek food. Now they have a very popular restaurant in RTP. It’s a bright, clean location, friendly service and the same great food with additional lunch specials. My favorites are the hand cut, seasoned fries with feta and the gyro pita. Their stuffed grape leaves are delicious. Don’t miss the baklava ice cream!

Tried it out during lunch. The chicken pita was great, and I have no complaints about the food or the service, but the menu doesn’t cater to lunch crowd, or rather doesn’t compete well price wise. A side of fries are $ 5, and a fountain drink a few dollars more. A combo for adding a side and drink doesn’t exist. Thus a lunch of a chicken gyro, side and drink is about $ 16. That’s too pricey for a lunch place. They need a lunch menu that can compete with others in the area for the RTP crowd.

Great addition to the RTP food scene. Gussy’s food truck opened a brick and mortar location in the shopping center behind Sheetz in RTP(where Baguetteaboutit used to be). I walked in at 12:30pm and all the tables were full, with a small line. I placed my order for a chicken pita(I added feta for $ 1), and they gave me a number to wait. I had barely checked in on Unilocal and taken restaurant pics before my order was ready — awesome! I was too hungry to drive anywhere so took my takeout order to a table outside and dove in. The pita was warm and fluffy and heaped with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, a bit of romaine and lots of tzatziki. So tasty — the chicken was marinated and cooked perfectly, veggies were crisp and the tzatziki was garlicky and delicious. I could barely finish my pita — glad I didn’t get a side. Happy to have Gussy’s around the corner from my office and I’ll be back to try more of the menu.

Fantastic! We love their food. The Gussy fries are delicious. My 6&8 year olds love the chicken pitas. Fresh food from great local business owners!
