Carla Carden has been cutting my hair for 9 years now. She used to be at a now-​defunct salon in Brightleaf Square. The stylists at Image Works are independent; they rent their booths from the store-front’s owner. The place is not luxurious, but it’s clean and airy. Carla is really nice and she listens to exactly what I want. I’m a person who doesn’t like to fuss with my hair and she knows that, and gives me a cut that is completely wash and wear. And it always looks great. Her prices are very reasonable and she does facial waxing as well.

This is both a hair and tanning salon. Gonna be honest, it was pretty gross. I needed a quick tan before a vacation and was a little disappointed that I spent my money here. It was a «clean the bed yourself» kind of program, and the women working at the counter couldn’t have seemed less interested in working there.
