Great staff. Awesome location. There’s never a lot of people when I go so I usually in and out in about 10minutes. There’s a friendly staff that’s always willing to help. They give great staff reviews on sandwiches when you request their opinions. The facility is clean and the food is great. I love this location and I’ll be back. 5stars

Horrible experience. The manager/owner Felt the need to argue with me over my order. Would not return. Plenty of other reasonable sub shop offerings in the area.

I am giving this place 2 stars due to the wonderful service I received. 1 star for my Philly cheesesteak. The fries were not good at all. For $ 21 you would think that the cold cut I ordered would have been bigger. It was really scarce. Also, the fresh squeezed lemonade taste just like that. Lemons squeezed with no sugar added. Really tart.

I just tried this place for the first time. Very clean, simple menu, and all sandwiches are reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly, and the sub was great. I will be returning often :)

My boyfriend kept raving about the fries at this place so I gave it a try. Everyone else’s reviews about the staff being extremely friendly were correct! All of the staff were very welcoming. It is very clean for a sandwich shop and when there weren’t people in line the staff were busy cleaning. Since the artichoke sandwich was mentioned several times in reviews, that is what I ordered. The lady taking my order asked if I wanted to add chicken. I was glad she did because I would not have thought to do that on my own. I am a sucker for artichoke dip and the sub did not disappoint, its basically artichoke dip on bread. Mmm. But not for the faint of heart. It was heavy. I tasted some of my boyfriends cheesesteak and it was very good. Both of our sandwiches came out piping hot and the fries were dropped fresh. The fries were delicious, I wish they had a cajun/seasoning salt option thought, that would have really sealed the deal!

Was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted something quick for lunch and ended up here. I had the build your own sandwich(turkey) and it was excellent. The bread was fresh and sandwich was tasty. I recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious, fresh subs. Obviously franchise owner is on site and working hard. Friendly staff, pristine kitchen/dining area. Stopped by chance and what a nice surprise!

Ok, I been to just about all the fast sub places in the Triangle area and by far the best I have found is Penn Station. The comination of great quality meats and the sub roll itself really makes a huge difference that is so obvious when you compare their sandwiches to other local chain sub places. Penn Station blows them away. I personally like their Italian Sub not toasted. A true taste test for me coiming from up north where there are fantastic Italian subs.

My wife and I are here and enjoyed the sandwiches thoroughly. I had the Reuben(good meat to krout ratio and tasty thousand island sauce) and my wife had the classic italian(which had some kind of herb seasoning powdered over the top which added a lot of taste) all in all my fist visit to the chain was good. Friendly staff and decent priced food.

I LOVE the Chicken Philly and fries with the malt vinegar. A filling simple tasty treat and a quick lunch. Check out this location across from Target and to the right of RISE donuts. Service is great too.

Hard for me to give a franchise sub shop four stars but I can’t find too much wrong with Penn Station. I have tried a few different dubs but always go back to my favorites, the Artichoke sub with mushrooms. It’s like Artichoke dip on bread. What can go wrong with that? I ask for half mayo so it isn’t too bad and sometimes throw in mushrooms and onions. The fries are amazing too!

I’m a fan! I have come a few times for the Artichoke sandwich. Tons of cheese helped bind the acidity in the Artichokes and the mushrooms. The bread has a nice crunch which brings it a step up from standard fast food sandwiches. They cut your potato in front of you and drop it in the frier 5-Guys style. Free for Tuesday lunch? They have free cookie Tuesdays to bring some sweetness to the game. And speaking of sweetness, the staff here is pretty awesome. Orders are prompt, they give clever suggestions, and they like to smile. I’m sure to come back.

We are from Philly and thought we might find authentic Philly cheesesteak flavor and Philly sub style. Food was fresh and hot but not flavorful like true Philly cheesesteaks. Using more flavorful onions could help.

My grilled artichoke sandwich was very good, but a little oily. I’ll order it with no mayo and half the cheese next time. Otherwise, though, I thought it was creative and a nice change from the standard veggie sub. The fries are excellent. I would come here just for those. I love crispy fries, and these are just the right combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There are fountain drinks and lemonade, though the lemonade is, oddly, more expensive than the other drinks. I had iced tea, which was good, though I wish they had Splenda for it.

My first visit was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly cheerful and friendly. My cheesesteak was delicious & the fresh-cut fries were phenomenal. And having Heinz vinegar available for the fries?! Made me homesick for Pittsburgh :) My second(attempted) visit was not a good one — to say the least. I walked in last night approximately 20 minutes before closing and was refused service. I felt bad walking in that close to closing(I’ve worked retail & would hate when people did that), but the«open» sign was lit, all the lights on, and several employees were inside. When I walked in, the guy behind the counter simply stared at me while the girl in the back near the drink station stopped what she was doing and placed her hand on her hip as she proceeded to stare at me as well. Feeling uncomfortable, I asked if they were still cooking. The gentleman at the counter looked at the clock & just said«um» and turned to the girl in the back. At this point, the girl looked at me & quite rudely said, «What does that sign say? Can you read that sign? What does it say on the sign?» I was seriously in shock. My first visit had been such a pleasant one and to be spoken to that way, especially when I had very nicely asked if they were still cooking, was beyond unnecessary. If they had simply said something along the lines of, «I’m sorry, we were slow so we’ve already turned off the grill & fryers,» I would have been fine. I understand that happens — no problem. But there was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer that way. None at all. And if they weren’t willing to still serve paying customers, they should have turned the«open» sign off and locked the door. Also, it’s not as if I walked in 3 minutes before closing, it was 20. After my first visit, I would have rated Penn Station with 5 stars — in fact, I raved about the visit to family back home; however, at this point I’m not even sure if I will go back.

Yay, I’m a fan. I ate here yesterday, well picked up, and service was amazing. Subpar for a sub restaurant. I would have almost given 5 stars except for two things. 1. The lady who took my order, she also was handling my sub, one glove on, one glove off and I saw her touch the pepperoni on my sandwich with her bare hands. 2. I had the italian and I am a fan of grinders but this one lacked flavor in the oil and vinegar department. I’m not sure what it was but that is what I look for in my italians. I did get a good portion of fries and they were great. I do like this place a lot because it is very clean and aesthetic. Service was beyond normal of a sub shop and I would be back because of that. Meats and everything looked fresh. I do like this place above all from other places because unlike other sub joints they seem to have a closed food storage system? In other words there’s a LID that they close down over the meats and veggies when not being used. Other places leave this stuff out to the open and I REALLY like that they have this. Also they have a lifted up sub station which shows how clean the restaurant really is and I like that! No hiding anything. I will be back!

I had their 6″ reuben. Absolutely delicious. Their fries and fresh lemonade were also very good. Easily my favorite sandwich shop in the area.

I had the Italian and Club sandwich here. By far my favorite place to get a sub now. Can’t wait to try the other selections. Fries were good as well.

My mouth is watering thinking about the grilled artichoke sub. I’ve never eaten anything like that but it was delicious! It’d be great to see more vegetarian options, but there’s great service and flavor you just can’t find at another sub shop. Subway’s across the street but you know which way I’ll be walking next time!
